I wanted to share my recent experience with Edwards Transmission, specifically with Michael and Moed.After facing an unexpected engine issue with my 2006 Honda Civic, I reached out to several shops in the area for repairs. From the moment I spoke to Michael and Moed on the phone, their level of certainty and service made me feel like part of their family.I decided to take my car to their shop for repairs, and throughout the process, Michael kept me well-informed with regular updates on the status of my vehicle. I recently took my 2000 Volkswagen in for problem that I had no idea of what it was. I was promptly greeted by Michael and explained my issue. He explained they would run a diagnosis on it and get back to me ASAP. The next day they called and explained the problem. I talked to Moed and he explained in layman s terms what the problem was and the price to fix it.I explained that it was a second vehicle and I was in no hurry. Within a day or two I received a call that my car was ready. I was quite surprised but very impressed that the service was done so quickly. The price of the repair was exactly as quoted and comparable to prices I checked on line.This was my second time having service done here, I came back because of how well I was taken care of the first time.I highly recommend this location for anyone needing service on their vehicle.They went above and beyond what I expected and I appreciate that rare type of service.Thanks guys,Dennis PiggottBy the way ,I received a follow up call within the week to make sure all was well!!

These guys were amazing. My sister s car broke down due to someone else servicing her radiator fluid improperly. She is a healthcare worker and needed to get back to work to get to her patients. These guys went above and beyond and for a reasonable price. Got her back on the road in no time. They even allowed me to remotely pay for the service to help expedite. Michael was a delight. Strongly recommend.

Mike and Moe were absolutely amazing. They are very patient and generous guys. They know exactly what they talking about. Please go check in with these two they are wonderful. I recommend them and the place. You will not waist any money or time. They are the best they took good care of me and my car. I went in and got out in a very timely manner. I will definitely always come back to them.

My car was leaking transmission fluid so I took it to Edwards and they diagnosed and fixed the problem in less than 2 days! I was thrilled. Shortly after I noticed a strange noise and they diagnosed the issue for free. I will definitely take my car back to Edwards if I ever need to. Michael and Moed were great and stand behind their work. Pleased with my experience !

I was having trouble with my transmission and I bought it in for repair and in the process I met two extremely nice people. My first encounter was with Michael great customer service and put me at ease, and explained how the things worked, just really a nice person and then he brings Moe who went into more detail on how transmissions work and mine was a hot mess they both went above and beyond customer service and I appreciated that they both had put in time to make sure that I would get great service and I did.Thanks Michael and Moe

This place was AMAZING! I ve taken my car to multiple places and they could never give me the help the efficiency and job well done like Micheal and moed these guys are truly the best they were nice and they know their stuff every time I get a car and before it BREAKS down take it to them they got you covered! Such. Patient and polite people.. this is 25 minutes from my house but I would take the ride over and over again! Thanks again guys.

Absolutely loved working with the men at Edward's Transmission. I dropped my car off Monday in serious need of repair. The mechanics got right to work diagnosing my problem (2 very dangerous wheel barrings) and fixed it by the end of the day Tuesday. Not only did they fix the wheelbarrings, I expressed concern for other systems in my car and they were able to solve those issues too as well as teach and inform me of what may have caused the issue in the first place. As a side note, I had a left blinker light out as well and didn't mention it to the guys and now it works! Big fan of this auto shop. They charged a completely reasonable total for the amount of work done. I would highly recommend!!!

I would highly recommend this company Michael and Moe was wonderful, went out of their way to make sure that I got my car done a day early then expected and was so nice to answer the several questions I had. I hope I don't need them anytime soon, but I trust they would do me right if i would. I'm grateful to find a mechanic shop that can be trusted. Thank you guys! Renee

I stopped in a month or so ago. I am part of the traveling Healthcare community and I had a hitch cargo carrier on the back of my truck. Crew Carwash allowed me to get a membership and go thru the wash and the next time refused because of the hitch carrier. I stopped in to Edward's to PAY to have the carrier taken off because I can't lift it myself. The guys said it would take just a few minutes and told me to pay it forward. I have told everyone since, if they need a good shop to go to, to check out Edward's. Thanks guys for the help that day. It was much appreciated!!!

After dealing with several car shops it was very nice going to this shop Michael and Moe were very kind they took care of my car and made sure I was informed of what was going on at all times I felt very comfortable talking with them about my car problems. Very respectable gentleman everything was done and explained in a timely manor. I recommend this shop and will be going back with Any of my car needs.

Michael the shop manager and his team provided me with excellent customer service. They attended to my car in a timely manner and Michael was frequently updating me on when my car will be ready. My car has been running great. I truly recommend this shop on Michigan road. Nice and honest guys.

Great service , prices , and very accommodating and understanding. Micheal is the best and was very helpful. I found my all around mechanic for future problems with the car. I truly recommend Edward s Transmission on Michigan Road.

I had to have my transmission replaced. I took it here and Micheal did an amazing job handling everything. I went through a warranty company and that made the process a lot more difficult, but he did a great job communicating with them and keeping me updated. He also fixed one of axels for free! I went back again to fix my other axel and he got me in the very next day and included a warranty. I'd definitely recommend Edwards transmissions over other placesService: Transmission

About 2 years ago I had a blue car up there and at first they were very helpful but when I talked to a manager there he explained to me that I could make payments on the car and I told him what amount I could afford and he said it was fine. Once the car was done all of a sudden the manager had quit/gone and they were trying to make me do big payments. Point is I think they were just trying to get the sale and now they sold the car that had there talked to multiple hire ups there and they told me they couldn t find any recording of the conversation me and the manager had and couldn t do anything about it even though me and the manager talked in store. Very poor business and tricking people will not recommend this place to anyone!

I went with them for my second inspection for my transmission, the staff and technician were very knowledgeable and pleasant. Once I made the decision for them to do the work, service was super fast. I definitely recommend this place for your transmission needs.

I recently had my transmission rebuilt and thermostat replaced on a 2017 GMC Acadia. To say I'm unhappy with this GMC product is an understatement! But, since I'm not in a position to purchase a new car particularly with the current strike situation, I had no choice but to get things done. Finding someone to do the repairs for a fair price was an exercise in patience. Edward's Transmission on Michigan Road came to the rescue! Not only did I save a great deal of money, but Michael also provided me with an expected timeline and fully explained the repairs necessary. Mo did a great job fixing the issue and showed me the parts that were causing the issue. I had done some research so their diagnosis didn't surprise me at all. I am hopeful that the repair work performed by Edward's will last, but trust that if I have any issues with the work they performed, they will address it. And, while I have had my fair share of repair shops that disappointed me in the past few months, I can honestly say that Edward's has not. I am grateful to their staff.

This place Edwards Transmissions is TRASH!!!! They burglarized/broke into my truck a few years ago and stole a lot of valuable equipment when I mistakenly allowed/trusted them to do work on my truck. And they refused to reimburse me for my lost. Stay far away from these slimy loser CROOKS!!!!

Don t waste your time. My husband was a mechanic here for a short time. This is a slimmest shop he worked in and he quickly left. They are known for charging customers new OEM parts but instead they are purchasing used parts from the junk yard and pocketing the difference. Plus, the current 2 mechanics in the shop are uneducated and cut corner. They don t get enough cars in their shop so the mechanics will purposely mess up so they can make money off you again when you return. They also will overcharge customers with the hope of them not paying and transferring the title of the car to the business so they can sell it. In one case, they did this to an individual and the owner gave the car to his son. Management gives no care in the world for their customers or employees. They are only focused on profit, which they are not making. They can t even pay the uniform bill for their employees. Don t. Go. Here.

I am still waiting on a resolution to a misdiagnosed repair at the Michigain rd location that cost almost 3,000.00 and the vehicle stopped running the day after I brought it home. I wish the management was as diligent accurately accessing the repair as their online damage control team replying and rebutting the concerns of people. Perhaps there wouldn t be as many disgruntled customers. Rarely, do I take the time to post something negative and I don t believe that every location is as unscrupulous as this location. However, I genuinely feel that this location is genuinely preying on the community and based on many of the reviews it doesn t look like they are being held accountable.

I went through my process with Michael regarding to my vehicle , my push and start was not working his technicians did a good job as well communicating letting me know the problems regarding to my car they even went out they way fixing the side of my seat switch it was no extra charge!

Fantastic service, kind staff. Called in when my car wouldn t start. They offered suggestions if I couldn t get it jumped. Ended up getting it jumped, dropped it off. They diagnosed it within a couple hours and the work was completed shortly after that. Maybe 4 hours total. 10/10 would recommend.Service: BatteryService: Battery
