This place is amazing! I had a confusing experience with another car center, left my car in bad shape and with no help. I took it down Downtown Car Care Center, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Communication was great, prices and service was amazing. I m definitely coming back here. So thankful for them!

I came here to have my breaks fixed and they fixed them at a decent price of $500. Kathy at the front desk was especially helpful and kind. The only downfall was the place said it d take 2-3 hours to fix and it ended up taking 7 hours.

I ve been bringing my 2010 Lexus RX 350 here for service and maintenance 1-2 times a year for the past 3+ years. Always professional and honest people who provide fair quotes and do a great job.Even if you take your car to other places for work, I recommend having them provide a second opinion. I have experienced other places quoting me thousands of dollars of work for various items such as CV axles, tie rods for Downtown Car Care Center to assure me that everything was still in good working order.Their online appointment system is also very convenient to use.

Downtown Car Care Center is amazing! They were very quick to get me in and extremely thorough in asking questions about my car problems. They were very transparent about my options and explained the issues in a way that I was able to understand it. All while being patient, kind, and professional. I would highly recommend downtown care care center to anyone!

Downtown car care took great care of our Subaru! They are honest, reliable and very reasonably priced. They got the work done very efficiently and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of.

I have been a customer of Downtown Car Care since 2018 and have never had a bad experience. Kathy is great, the team is able to answer any questions I have, and on the rare occasion that I've needed to pop in last minute for an emergency service, they've been able to squeeze me in. There are also plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance to stay entertained while you wait for your car to be ready.

Came in with an issue that popped up on short-notice; while the issue ended up being an engine problem they're not suited to fix, they were extremely polite and professional with the assistance provided, gave very reasonable recommendations, and were generally very friendly to work with despite the frustration of the car problem. I felt like they were very honest and down-to-earth.

My 2002 Toyota Highlander was shaking like a leaf, and the check-engine light was on. I saw that this place was a few blocks away from my apartment, and it was highly reviewed. I gave them a call and they made an appointment for me first thing the next morning. So I drop my car off, and within a few hours, they tell me that my ignition coil was bad, and it would be $350 to replace it. About two hours after that, my car is ready to be picked up, and it runs just like it used to. My only complaint is that the Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) light came on afterwards, and I would have had to take it back if I didn't get it looked at by someone else while traveling

Easy to work with. A previous mechanic wanted to charge $1,000 to replace a leaking power steering assembly. This mechanic figured out the leak was actually just the reservoir, which cost less than $500 to replace. I appreciate they took the time to pinpoint the source of the problem.

Had an emergency issue with my car and was able to get in for an appt an hour after I called :) Unfortunately I did not get the name of the woman I spoke with, but she was super polite and explained everything to me clearly. I have taken my car to Downtown Car Care since I moved to Indianapolis (for 25+ years). They are honest and knowledgeable. Recently, I had warranty work done at a dealership (took about 6 weeks in total) and the dealership had a list of imperative repairs that was pretty long. I smelled a rat, so I took the list to my car guys at DCC, and there were 2 repairs from the list that were necessary a transmission flush and a fuel pump replacement. I don't know cars. So when I moved to Indy, I wasn't sure who to trust with my car. After first choosing DCCC on a lark, I haven't regretted it since.When my car broke down for good unexpectedly last year, Kathy was a lifesaver. She walked me through the entire process, answered my questions, and helped me make informed decisions that were in my best interest. She even took my call when I felt like I needed advice, as I was sitting in a dealership buying my next car.We all know some service centers use predatory tactics, selling you services you don't need. Not these guys.When my dealership's mechanics said I needed a couple new tires, I got a second opinion at DCCC. Turns out my tires just needed patched, and they've been fine more than a year since.I have never felt pressured into something I wasn't sure I needed. Quite the opposite, in fact! Kathy has shown genuine empathy when my car has needed an expensive fix that I wasn't expecting, and she made sure I knew I had options.Kathy, Bob, and their team are very transparent. Educating the customer is part of their philosophy. The Downtown Car Care Center team (Especially Kathy) has been great. I live/work downtown and It's very easy for me to drop it off and pick it up around my schedule. The communication is top tier and they'll text you with updates and answer questions quickly. Staff is friendly, helpful and always courteous. They know what maintenance my car needs when I ask. Easy to schedule online. Fair prices. My car has 75,000 mi. They have maintained it since 25,000 mi. Still runs great.
