We have been coming to this location for years. Everyone has always been very nice. When we have had issues with our vehicles the technicians have explained what needs to be done without talking down to me or making me feel like I should know everything. I also am gratful that I receive a detailed estimate, before they do any work.

After having a bad experience at another local car repair shop I decided to go to Car-X to get my oil change and brakes taken care of. I didn't have an appointment and I went in on a Monday at 10:00 a.m. and by 12:15 I was happy and out the door. They had diagnosed the problem that I was having and were able to quote me a fair price and get the job done within just a couple of hours. The waiting room is comfortable enough and the staff is friendly. I went to Car-X a couple months ago and had some repairs done on another one of my Nissan's. For a shop that you can just walk in and get the work done I feel like their prices are fair. They always have coupons circulating out there and you can even get coupons off their website. Thank you Car-X for giving me a good deal and not taking advantage of me like some women fear could happen at auto repair shops. They even gave me a military discount!

Longtime customers, we'd been ready to look elsewhere but things have really turned around recently. The new manager is great! He's taken a personal interest in quality service, not just with my vehicle but I've heard him do it with others too. I'm glad to have my neighborhood shop back, and relieved to hear Richard and Daniel remain on staff. They're the heart of that shop, knowledgeable and professional, the kind of guys who not only tell you what's wrong but also help you prioritize, if necessary, and symptoms to be alert for. And they never try to upsell or recommend irre.

I have to be honest here , the customer service was GREAT the timing on the job was really fast (they told me 20 minutes and it was 15 minutes) plus they had people who they finished prior to me that had me thinking I ll be there for a long time. But very fast at every customer I seen there. Gave me great references on future things I could do for my vehicle and price was good. Definitely would recommend and have recommended them to other people

They made an appointment for me for the following day at 2PM. They didn't finish me up until 3:30. It was only an oil change on the most popular car in the US. Come on now!

I had a rather frustrating experience on Wednesday, 9/27, when I took my 2010 Chevy Malibu to this auto shop. The main reason for my visit was a check engine light that I was told was a camshaft position sensor that had went out and had been causing me concern. To get to the bottom of it, I shelled out a whopping $115 for a diagnostic. However, the outcome left me far from pleased.Upon returning to the shop to pick up my car, I asked about the diagnostic results, hoping for a clear answer to the issue. The guy at the front desk, with a somewhat nonchalant attitude, casually mentioned that it was just "history codes" and that they had been cleared. At first, this seemed like a sigh of relief, but my optimism was short-lived.As I stood there waiting for the return of my car, a mechanic entered the scene, almost surreptitiously, clutching our car keys. He leaned in and discreetly informed the boss man, "the engine light came back on," before walking away, leaving us bewildered and with more questions than answers.When I turned to the front desk manager for an explanation or a resolution, I was met with dismissiveness. He simply brushed off the recurring issue, suggesting it was "probably an exhaust leak." There was no offer to redo the diagnostic, despite the fact that I had just paid for it.So here I am, back at square one, with the dreaded check engine light still on. What's worse, I had parted with my hard-earned money without a clear understanding of what was genuinely wrong with my car. This experience left me not only frustrated but also feeling like I had been taken advantage of, with no real solution in sight. It was a disappointing and disheartening day, to say the least.

The mechanic never did a through diagnosis on the problem. Seen one thing and assumed what the issue was and never realized the actual problem. Had to take my car to the dealership to get it fixed.

I ve been going to this Car-X for about 6 years now and it s the only place I ll go to get work done on my car. The staff is always great and do a wonderful job. I haven t had a bad service from them through the multiple cars I ve brought to them. I ve got my other family members going there too and they also share similar sentiments about the professionalism at this establishment. Highly recommend!Services: Tire rotations, Oil change

Made appointment for tire rotation a week ahead of date service performed. Called morning of appointment to confirm work and time. Arrived on time gave my coupon for tire rotation to associate for tire rotation. 30 minutes later he came out to inform me that wherever I got my last oil change they put the oil filter on too tight. To my dismay I asked what oil filter? I brought my car in for a tire rotation. I just paid for an oil change three weeks ago. He quickly excused himself and went out to the bays to talk with the worker who was evidently changing my oil. Returned to tell me the associate doing the work on my car read order wrong and would quickly be finished with my oil change no charge he said and they would do the tire rotation. I said at NO Charge, he said he would talk with his supervisor.Not good, glad all I took it there for was a tire rotation . Beware if this Car X if you take your car there be very careful.Services: Tires, Oil change

Friendly employees overall. Came in for a Prepurchase inspection with a full report but I left with basically a suggestion to check transmission somewhere else after a test drive. Didn't ask me for money but I feel like I wasted my entire afternoon!

Went in to see about an oil change. My car has over 90000 miles so I purchased a quart of Lucas oil treatment to put in at oil change. The man behind the counter ( not sure of his name) rudely told me that : and I quote" we don't install customer parts". I don't think a newly purchased quart of oil treatment can be classified as a "customer part"!! If this is how they treat seniors here I for one won't be back. I would suggest all those who follow my reviews to find another place to get your car serviced.

Only place I've gone to for oil changes. Overall they provide great service. Recently went there for a tire issue and they fixed it fast and didn't overcharge. Also recently they fixed my wife's brakes and treated her well!

There was a gentleman that was super nice on the phone and shared his person experience he had with the same car as mine. I really appreciated his honesty and it made me feel really welcomed and trusting to get my car fixed at this location. I would definitely recommend this place to other and I would definitely come here for future repairs.

These guys are really great. I got there just before 8am and they replaced my back brakes, rotors and pads and changed my oil and I was out at about 11:45am. I expected them to be very busy and they had Lots of people coming in for oil changes, but the guys were doing a great job getting people out quickly. I will be back for any services I need done. Scheduled an appt for my van and DROVE it over to their location at 8am. They waited until 2-3pm to say that they couldn t get it to start and that they don t know what s going on. Upon arrival this is what I experienced. They tried jumping my battery and had burnt the cable to the positive terminal and in the process my horn started blaring and wouldn t/wont stop now (Dave told me this issue over the phone). They said it was an electrical issue and recommended an auto electric shop. Unfortunately, I left with more issues than what I came in with & had the van towed as it still wouldn t start. By their recommendation & several others, I took it to Chi s Auto Electric and he said it s not an electrical issue like they said so I m stuck at square 1.

I had some work done at another place and was still having problems took it to these guys they found my brake pad was installed incorrectly they fixed it and was so nice and informative this is my new go to for car work

I had a magnificent experience the manager is professional. I noticed he took the same time with each customer. I arrived just before right for an oil change on my Cobalt. I was out of there just before nine! My car drive home better than it came and I took advantage of the promo 19.99 for an oil change during November! Thanks guys! I'll be back for my next service!

Visiting indy and blew a tire on a pothole...Car rx was closest place drove on flat tire, arrived at 256 pm they close at 3pm... not even basic human decensy to put air in it...they told me it will be fine just drive 2 miles down the road to firestone. Yes CAR RX I will always drive down the road to firestone in the future. Very disappointing human behavior.

Normally i would have gave a great review..but considering i did not get all my service..I did use to like car-x on 15th and shadeland.untill my hub cap was not replaced once car-x loosened it and did not replace..then went to get oil change today 3-15-23 i tried to wash windows..had no windshield wiper fluid in it..the tires were not rotated and aired up..what did i pay for..was it because im a women and wouldn't find out..i took my car back up there..he tried to tell me that it waa my sensors..nooooooo..there was nothing in there period..i was not compasated for my time..my fluids were not topped off as it says in the oil change agreement..i was very disappointed and upset..i have to have someone else to look at my car to make sure i even got what i payed for..considering i just had heart surgery and out trying to get car maintenance the best i could..i will not be back at this car-x any more..like they probably care anyways..thanks but no thanks..way over priced and had the nerve to con me out my services..very disappointed.make sure you check your services when done here..one of my friends also had problems here..i was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt..smh..waist of time..then they were going to over charge me for services i wanted done on my car..im glad i did not get anything else done..i saved myself on that one.Service: Oil change

Went to get my oil change and I was disappointed . My car has more problems after I left and when I return to have them check their work they act as if I did something wrong. My car is pouring out oil and my oil light is now on. I have oil stains in my driveway and I have to keep pouring oil in my car daily. They laughed as if I was lying. Sad!! Sad!!! Didn't need any mechanical work done on my car. Tire pressure light was on and they gave great customer service at no cost. Will return here if i do have any issues.

The gentlemen there were great. Dan was my mechanic and he was absolutely fabulous. He let me know exactly what was wrong before he did any work. He informed me of the cost prior to beginning the job to make certain that I'd be able to afford the repair and then was able to get it done all in the same day. I could not be more pleased. TOTALLY RECOMMEND!!
