I drove a hour and 8 min from Lafayette IN to Indianapolis to get my rotors and breaks replaced because everyone was saying 1,000 to 1,200 for my 17 Toyota Camry they saved me 1,000. He even took me to auto zone to get another part because I was missing a piece. The customer service was wonderful I was so thrilled with their work and the politeness that they showed me .. they took care of me and my car . Any car needs call the first for the best prices around.. thank you again you guys

My step son had driven my Jeep into the ground and it needed new brakes immediately. I called Mike and he got me in first thing the following morning. The Jeep had also had an issue with stalling that multiple mechanics hadn't been able to diagnose, so I asked Mike to look into that as well. They gave me a ride back to my home so I didn't have to wait at the shop! Within a couple hours, my brakes were fixed and they'd figured out what was causing the car to stall. They quoted a very reasonable price and got both issues fixed that same day! Then they drove back to my place to pick me up, took me by the bank to get cash out, and brought me back to the shop. Great service all around. I'll be going back to get my AC fixed before the warm months arrive. Will definitely refer friends and family to Mike!

I would give this place 6 stars if able. Took my 2015 Traverse LTZ in a couple weeks ago for rear brakes and I was extremely impressed on how quick the guys got it done (less than 1 hour) for rotors and pads. I like that fact that cash is the only form of payment accepted since cards seem to be taking over the world. They also do audio and window tint. I will be taking my 2013 F-150 there for audio work in the next couple weeks.Help support your locally owned business!

When id go to hit my brakes my car was making this loud grinding sound, so i was searching for a place to help replace my brakes and turned out i needed pads, rear rotors, and rear calipers. This location repaired them, Mike and his team gave me a fair price and did a good job. I know I would ve paid a lot more if I went anywhere else. So highly recommend them! They were very nice as well and even showed me the parts on my car and then the new they replaced them with so I could see the difference and what they were doing. I ll definitely come back here again if my car needs anymore work!

Let me get to the point. Mike and his crew are the ones you want to fix it for you. They have the professionalism the knowledge the skill and they are the right Mechanics for today's problems and for our futures needs. No matter what your problem is they will fix it just like a whiz. By the way, five stars is not enough to give them due to their kindness and appreciation. You will and are not going to find a better place than this to take care of all of your vehicles needs. I am so glad I discovered this place of business and Mike and his crew because I'll never take my car no where else and neither should you.

No one want to hear their motor went out in their vehicle, unfortunately, that was the bad news I received. Instantly I panicked but Mike assured he would take care of my car & make things okay for me. Of course, hearing such news I was skeptical but Mike most certainly kept his word & made this process as painless as possible. I went as far as having my car towed from this shop to the Kia dealership who by the way wanted to charge me over $6000.00 for the same job Mike & his crew did for a 3rd of the cost. However, with Mike & company cost it included installation of a stereo navigation w/camera system, new starter, new battery on top of installing my motor. Within a few days my car was ready for pickup & I have no complaints. Their level of expertise & professionalism is outstanding & definitely deserve a 10/10

I took my van to these kind gentleman last night. They told me what was wrong and quoted me a price. Also informing me my van was not safe to drive. They took me home and we're willing to pick me up today to get my van. I called at 12:30pm and Mike informed my van would be done at 1 pm and there was a few other things wrong also but he didn't want to bother me so he just paid the difference himself. Wow these guys are the most down to earth, honest repair guys I know. If you need anything I highly recommend them.

Yesterday I had the misfortune of loosing my back passenger brake pad. I pulled over to the near by shop and got a quote of $1,288.82 before taxes for back brakes, rotors and calipers. Desperate to find something more manageable we started searching on google for someone to help us. That s when we found Brakes For Less Music Makers. They came to our rescue! These amazing and caring people gave us an unbeatable price and got it done for $750 for everything I needed! Also They have a shuttle service, where they will take you home or to work so you can do what you need to while your car is being worked on. Then call you, pick you up and take you back to the shop to pick up your vehicle when it s done! In my book there is no other place to go when you need work done on your vehicle! I will definitely be using their services in the future for all of my mechanic needs! They are amazing people with outstanding service!P.s thank you again, you guys never how much we appreciate your assistance!!

Mike, thank you. I picked this place because i love music, and when i say "Music saved my life" i mean it more then you know. I let Jesus take the wheel and went with my gut and called them 1st. Thank God. I cant tell you how impressed i am with the shop! They not only got me in within 2 hours on a busy Monday, they made sure to treat me right. I know good people when i meet them, and this is the one. I dont even live on this side of town but im 3 months away from a surprise divorce. When i tell you he took care of me, that would be an understatment. I hope to do biz with them sooner then later, and if you have any worries... just call them.

I called 4 other tire shops this morning and the music makers good cheap tired were the only company that answered. Not only was he good over the phone but he was very transparent with the service and did not try to get over. They took care of us really quick and they have good deals. This is by far the #1 mechanic shop in Indy! Whatever you need done can and will be done!My axle was destroyed after I just gave birth to my newborn & had just lost my job! I had only $500 to my name- the owner was so understanding of my needs and got me situated with what work I need done at first he said it ll take a full day but he got the service done in less than a hour. While myself & my newborn waited he got us a ride to eat and kept us warm!Had I kept driving my car I wouldn t be here to tell the story or give this review!! I will forever and only do business with this company! Thank you again!

We live down the street and finally decided to give them a try. We had an issue with our battery and thought we needed new tires on our Ford Escape. They were very friendly and communicative throughout the process. Called to schedule an appointment and we were able to drop off as soon as we were off the phone. He was very honest and let us know we didn t need all new tires- just a plug and rotation. Replaced our battery for a fraction of the price compared to other big name shops. And he threw in cleaning our air filter for free. As a woman I appreciate being able to take my car to a place with workers that are honest and don t try to talk down to you or overprice every service!! Will be using them from now on.

Mike was awesome. I needed new brakes, a caliper, and an oil change. He got my car in within 10 minutes of dropping it off, and made sure to thoroughly go over everything it needed with me before having his team start. He was very fair priced, compared to anywhere else. I m taking my grandmas car to him this week. Definitely a returning customer.Edit; 01/06/2024 Mike has helped my family and I with 3 different vehicles so far! He s the only mechanic we go to. Recently went in for tint work and my experience from start to finish was outstanding! On the spot quote, super affordable price, friendly customer service and overall great work. Shoutout to Nathan who tinted my car and explained the proper care of the tints. They also offer a free shuttle service if you live within the area which is so convenient and nice. Thanks to Dennis who operated the shuttle and was so kind! Check this place out!

So thankful to find this place. What an outstanding crew!! Value is unbeatable, as was the customer service. Life long customer here. They replaced all my brake pads, changed all 4 tires for me for the price of new tires somewhere else.

Mike did great work on my Buick. He replaced the motor and made sure it was running beautifully before I picked it up. Took payments. I was very satisfied with his work and I will be returning to him for work on my other vehicles

Mike and the guys are awesome! They went above and beyond! Extremely fair too. They will definitely do right by you. I took my car there for new brakes today. I live in Greenfield but work in Beech Grove. Drove in, dropped off my car and they took me to work!!!! In a short time they called back, it was done! They came and picked me up and took me back to my car. You couldn't ask for a better, friendly service! I highly recommend them and am so glad to have found them!!!! Wow. These guys helped me in every possible way. They charged me under market value on my brakes. They fixed my caliper and told me things I might need in the future. I m definitely going here instead of anywhere else from now on!

I came to get my brakes done, what a marvelous experience. He took $50 off the total price , very kind and generous. We got a free ride to run a couple of errands while my vehicle was getting maintenances. Can t get no better than that , I look forward to coming back just not too soon lol

Very wonderful place amazing staff went to this place because my vehicle was losing too much brake fluid. They executed the problem also. didn t charge me for things that needed done like Bleeding my brakes, gave me a free shuttle ride home and back to pick up my vehicle. Can t beat that, great people great place great business. Thank you guys

This Tire Shop Business is the best. My husband and I take all of our vehicles here and have sent several friends also. They are much more than a tire shop, they do tint, stereos, and all of our mechanical needs have been met here. The owner is a great guy who treats every customer like family. The prices there are very considerate of the "working class" and top notch always. I highly recommend this shop for all your automotive needs.Edit to post: Upon further review from another mechanic the repairs were made to cover up their inability to fix things properly. A shop that specializes in brakes you would never think they would1. Claim to purchase new parts and visually the parts are not new dirty worn and they love zip ties.2. They put brakes on backward so they would fit hole patterns.3. Couldnt bleed brakes due to improper installation and when I questioned the non braking action they said they would bleed themselves. My safety was jeopardized I had zero brakes when I left and I was forced to spend $1,500 to fix the brakes and the damage Brakes for Less caused on my vehicle from their shoddy work and improper brakes system component installation.People beware repairs on all my vehicles had to be redone by a true mechanic. Maybe this is why he has a shop so far away from where he lives, the locals know the lack of quality work. Karma comes full circle. I take back my initial review my automotive ignorance fooled me into believing the bandaids were legitimate repairs.

Mike and his guys did a great job repairing my exhaust system and oil change and new set of tires for the winter. Glad I found a great shop that takes care of people with excellent work done quickly. I'll be going back whenever I need auto work done!

Called these guys after my Cruze was throwing codes all day and they were able to diagnose my car same day. They got it in the next day and got it running great again. I haven t had it run this well since right after I bought it. They re such lifesavers honestly because I didn t feel safe even driving my car around at its worst. Definitely a good shop to go to!
