A welcomed thoroughness when diagnosing a non starting issue with my car. It's not quite the oldest car on the road but it has traveled many miles on many roads unforgiving. I received a full itemized estimate of diagnostics as I would welcome from my doctor at my yearly physical. I want my doctor to find things out about me before I have to learn about them in an emergency room or surgical center.My non start issue was easy. However the potential mechanical failure wasn't necessarily what I wanted to hear but I definitely needed to know about it to intervene before I became a highway statistic.ASG was forthright with all they found and the costs. Safety issues for their customers are important.They are very busy with full schedules. I would recommend calling ahead and making appointments whenever possible because their schedule has little wiggle room to work in additional customers. Scheduled work takes priority.

I don t know much about what they were doing even though they tried their best to explain it all too me. It was certainly costly but hoping it will run smoothly for many more miles to come. I love the new tires. Next time I want to buy the wider tires. All in all I give you guys a 5 star rating. Thanks

Fantastic service! They quickly identified the source of my concerns about the vehicle(rough ride/vibration) and were able to make all needed repairs same day. It drove like new afterwards and I am very happy with the results. I had brought the car into 2 other shops previously who failed to correctly find my problem and sent me in all kinds of (incorrect) directions as to the source. They are very friendly and courteous as well. Highly recommend!

ASG Automotive: These guys are amazing! Excellent service, way above and beyond my expectations! I can t even begin to convey the layers of exceptional quality. It s truly a 5-star experience here. My deep appreciation to Logan, in particular, who answered my questions and offered tremendously helpful insight when I was in the process of buying a new car. The high degree of professionalism and thoughtfulness at ASG is remarkable.

Love this place!!!I have a Mercedes-Benz first time I was referred to this place. It s because Mercedes up north couldn t fix my problem and they were rude to me & wasted my money and time. I went up there several times that s when someone told me about ASG. Mercedes kept telling me there was nothing wrong and ASG took less than an hour to tell me that it was my starter.I went back today because I had a minor problem and came to them versus going to the Mercedes dealership. Once again wasn t disappointed. Thanks again , customer service is wonderful!!!

Never have to worry about being taken advantage of or shortcuts. My immediate issue with the car was addressed in a timely fashion. Appreciated excellent communication throughout the process, including thorough explanation of was else needed to be done to the car to keep it in top condition following expiration of dealer warranties. Take comfort in knowing all the work done is covered for four years...who else does that? Thank you guys!

These guys were very thorough and made sure my car was good to go. They worked with a warranty I had with my car and made sure I got the most out of the warranty without me having to deal with it. Very trustworthy and they did an excellent job at explaining everything to me. 10/10

The guys at ASG provided fast and courteous service. Very knowledgeable and answered all questions that I had. I will definitely use them in the future. They also provided a courtesy driver to take you home and pick you while your vehicle is being serviced.

After I posted my comments here, I did receive a call back from the shop and they apologized as they made an error in the oil quantity on the invoice and they issued me a refund. Thanks for taking care of thisInitial Review I feel like have been ripped off. I contacted the local BMW dealer to check on the oil change price, they quoted $118. You guys charged me like twice as much. May be I should have checked costs before having you service the vehicle. Unless you do something about my situation you have lost a perfect long term customer and anyone I may have referred to you.

Dropped off car for repair, provided transportation home. Kept customer informed daily as to status. Provided clear information - explained work required. Gave timeline and stuck to it. Offered military discount. Provided warranty for work. Offered to bring car back in at no charge to double check repair success.

During the winter of 2021, I was fairly new to Indy and didn't yet have a garage for my Saab. If you have a Saab, you probably know that it's always best to have a mechanic knowledgeable about Saabs.I searched online and found ASG. They had the highest Google reviews, a Saab mechanic and were very friendly and helpful when I called to discuss the problems with my car. ASG was an easy choice to make.The car required a lot of work and it was expensive, but fair. It took about five weeks for them to find the parts (always an issue with Saabs), and complete the work. They also had to rebuild part of the engine. They relied on a third-party master mechanic to complete that job.They also offered, at no charge, a two year warranty on all of their work. (I think it's two years, if not, three.) Additionally, they arranged the towing. The price for that was very reasonable.During the repair work, they stayed in touch with me frequently. I really appreciate that. Following the return of my car, they still stayed in touch with me to ensure the car was running properly.My initial and continuing questions were always taken seriously and with respect.They're top notch across the board!

ASG s diagnosis of my car s engine issue was thorough and clearly explained. Their front-desk staff understand the technical details of cars, so you feel that you re not getting upsold by a salesperson reading off a sheet. The work itself was performed quickly and at a reasonable price. They were responsive via phone at all points of the process.

As an owner operator you end up in different states away from your mechanic you re used to back home. Now I know where to go when in Indianapolis. Great team they have here worked on my Mercedes Sprinter and got me back on the road!

This has bothered me for awhile and I think anybody looking to have this shop work on your car needs to be aware of this.I wanted to get an estimate for an undisclosed repair work. I searched google for a shop capable of performing this work. After contacting a few place my research finally led me to ASG. I was very impressed with their website and after talking to them on the phone I had no doubts they are capable of performing the work. ASG did a great job of taking my car in and listening to me.A couple of days later they called me and dropped a huge one on me. Now, I wasn't born yesterday and in this day in age I have the power of the internet to gather information such as expected price ranges for this kind of work so I knew what the low end to high end price was for this job. They wanted well above and beyond the high end price by several thousands. I'm thinking "holy moly I'm at the wrong place, this shop must be for really high end exotic stuff for people with deep pockets".At this point I immediately got my car out of there because that was a ridiculous estimate to have been so high. Fast forward 2 weeks and they called me back. "Hey we made a mistake when we priced that job it should only be $xxxx". I'm thinking "no fudging poodoo, you don't say". The new price was still on the high end but within the expected scale that I found in my research. Had they given me the more accurate price to begin with I would have gladly let them fix it right then and there.Did they really make a mistake with the estimate or did they think they had themselves a sucker? I don't know. Unless the guy that worked up the quote was brand new I don't see how they wouldn't see this as a red flag.TLDR; If you go here for an estimate just ask them "Hey, let's cut the bantha poodoo and fast forward two weeks, what's the actual price?" and maybe you can save yourself some time because all this place did was waste my time. Not only did they waste my time they also charged me the diagnostic fee just so they could screw up the repair quote and squeeze $150.

I was looking for a place to get some repairs done quickly and went to ASG. I was able to drop off my car overnight and ASG had my repairs done by the next day. The staff was extremely professional, keeping me up to date in the process as well as providing an overall inspection. I really appreciate the fast turnaround and professional service.

Not sure how good the labor is there I ran after I saw over a $3000 quote. I felt like they were trying to take advantage because I am a female. They even put windshield wipers on the quote when I just had them changed the week before . An oil change was $136 and they added in my brakes when I already had them checked. I originally came in because of a sound my car was making

In Indy visiting family and I had car problems. I knew I couldn t drive home without getting it fixed. I have a Volvo so it s not easy to find a decent shop that s affordable, we won t go back to Tom Woods. We found ASG and they re 3 miles away! Great reviews and they could help right away! Reggie was friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They fixed my car and I was very pleased with my bill at the end of it all. We re moving back to Indy soon and ASG will be our mechanics!

Excellent service, very fair pricing, incredible communication and just nice people. You can't ask for more from an auto shop.*Update* I lost my clutch due to a gasket leak and ASG fixed me up right as rain. While they had my car I also had them do my brakes and some other minor things and the results are really incredible. It's like driving a brand new car.*Update 2* we needed a small repair and ASG found a couple of other major problems that were just starting to show themselves. Because of their attention to detail and professional service, we were able to address those issues before anything really bad happened. Plus our other repair went great! Thanks again ASG!

Initially went to ASG as they were the only certified Saab repair service in Indianapolis. Terrific work and on time (even when parts are hard to find). Also had great experience with their service of my Ford Flex. All around satisfied. ASG automotive earned my respect as a car repair shop! Took my 2013 Mercedes there after experiencing some drive shaft issues. They took my car in and diagnosed the problem to make sure no further damage was done to the engine and transmission. Service to my vehicle was top notch but the best part was the assurance and honesty from the people that work at ASG. They even took time to follow up with me months after my repair to make sure of quality service.
