I was experiencing rear brake issues and wanted an expert opinion on what the problem might be. To my absolute delight Midas in Hobart surpassed my expectations by going above and beyond what any body shop has ever done for me. I received a thorough examination, two separate driving checks and pictures of everything they looked at. I was listened to extensively and felt incredibly heard. I was offered suggestions of what to do in the future as well. This is the absolute BEST experience I ve ever had at a body shop. They built trust and rapport immediately and I felt valued and well taken care of. From the mechanics to the shop owner, everyone was friendly, listened very well and had experienced, pristine knowledge and information that was communicated in a way I understood. I also had my oil changed and Serpentine belt changed in this same visit and everything was done in a timely manner. The waiting area was exceptionally clean. I will never go anywhere else again. I highly recommend this shop. Don t think twice. This is a rare and exceptionally valuable hidden gem.

So I had a major problem with my car and it was acting up badly.Had it scanned at an Auto Parts store and then called here & spoke to Angelina about my concerns and that I had some work done from another Midas from out of State (Texas) visiting Familia for Holidays.She was mighty kind and informative to research & confirm with her DM that they could help me out.And they diagnosed the issue & showed my the faulty coil that was giving me the check engine code & problems.They handled me in a timely manner and explained everything. The technician Buddy was Awesome and very knowledgeable as he fixed my problem & resolved my issue to get me back on the road with a smile I wished them all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year ~ telling them kindly that I hope NOT to see them until next Year Again, very excellent service & the hot cocoa was an added treat too. Ho'Ho'Ho and away I go.Thanks Team Angelina Buddy and the rest at this shop

I have ONLY had positive experiences at the Hobart Midas location. Mike is very personable, inviting, and warm. I appreciate his ability to provide excellent service, easy to understand answers to my car care questions, and they ALSO offer beverages in their clean waiting area. I am grateful that I can get honest auto maintenance and repair services! Thank you to Mike and his team at the Hobart Midas!

I cannot be more impressed by the level of knowledge and extraordinary professionalism I received while needing emergent car care. The head mechanic took time to explain things I had no knowledge on, and I could google the information and know he was spot on with his diagnosis and information he was providing me with.My car needed major repairs during a roadtrip I was on nowhere close to home. It was a scary situation for me and the Service Manager Michael did everything he could do to help make the outcome for me beyond what I could imagine.The coordination Michael did to get my car fixed right away was beyond what I ve experienced with any other car repair garage. He made phone call after phone call, pulled up information for me and kept me involved in the process.You don t get genuine service like I experienced just anywhere, this type of service takes truly outstanding leadership to make happen. Spending time at the shop I could see Michael interacting with his employees and it was evident he is a strong leader who takes pride in the work they do for people.If you need car service this is the place to go. I cannot say it enough, your car will be taken care of like you d like your loved one taken care of in a critical situation. You will not be treated as a quota or just another client, you will be treated with honesty and respect, you can be sure your car will be fixed by knowledgeable staff willing to go the extra mile to ensure your not taken for a ride by being lied to or deceived.

I deliver medication for a living. I was out of state when my car limped into the shop. Michael was honest and upfront. He and Buddy worked tirelessly to solve the mystery of the malady. He was up front about possible complications going forward after the initial fix. I was able to get a full picture of all the factors involved. Michael helped me weigh the pros and cons of fixing the main problem versus scrapping the car. He called another store to get a part. And then he called multiple junk yards for quotes on scrapping the car. He took care of gathering all the information I needed to make a truly informed decision. Then he fixed my car. He was my knight in shining armor! It is almost impossible to find honesty and integrity in the auto mechanic industry. Especially as a woman. I highly recommend Michael and this Midas shop! Women: you can trust him with your car even if you know nothing about cars.

I just moved to the area from out of state so I had no idea who to go to with my car s check engine light coming on & my car shaking . As a single woman, I was freaking out because sometimes mechanics like to take advantage of us single gals. I looked everywhere in the area and no one was able to get me in same day, until Midas! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with all smiling faces - you can really tell the workers here love their job. The rep that took care of me, Mike, did everything he could to reassure me that my car s shakiness would be taken care of same day! For the first time ever, I didn t feel taken advantage of being a young single woman. After voicing how much I was struggling financially, he even provided me with an amazing deal on tires that I decided to go with over the price my dad s tire business gave me (yes, I m being serious). Mike was truly amazing and he is the reason I will be sticking with Midas for all my car s needs in the future! Thanks, Mike and Midas!!

After reading the excellent reviews of Midas Hobart shop, I decided to stop in. From the moment I walked in I was treated so good! This is the best experience that I have ever had at any auto shop & I've dealt with many over my almost 55 years of age. They were thorough, professional & just plain fantastic, especially Tim. Someone once said or wrote "coincidences are God's way of staying anonymous". I was meant to meet these wonderful people at Midas in Hobart & thank God for these folks.

Midas has always been amazing for me. Helpful staff, great service, and they do everything they can to find me solid prices if they need parts for repairs and also go above and beyond to apply coupons.They know their clientele well and don't try to upcharge. Taking pictures of issues, going into full detail, and giving you numerous options to find the one best for you.I highly recommend them!

Someone tried to saw off my Catalytic converter. Staff was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and offered resources to assist with payment. Great experience! Highly recommend Midas!

I took my truck here and Michael and his crew worked on it and had the problem fixed in less than an hour. I would definitely recommend taking your vehicle here. Can we please have more people like Michael here full time?

I went to Walmart to get a tire change, they couldn t get the lugs off. Went to Midas, and they changed it with no problem. I highly recommend!

Have come here a few times now and everytime service has been amazing, the staff are kind, and they're very good at explaining what the problem is with your car to a layman! Couldn't recommend them more :)

Had an issue with the car that my son was driving, so I was extremely stressed out, and was expecting so much hassle. But Everyone was absolutely amazing. Best customer service! Very patient, with this very impatient mama. Thank you Tim and Angelina for everything you did! We will definitely be back.

I have been going here for years. I went in for my 8AM oil change appointment with an oil change coupon on my phone. Any other time, they have always scanned the barcode of the coupon on my phone. Today they no longer have the capabilities to do so. It is 2024, they definitely can. I guess it depends on who is working at the desk for this to be done. And I wondered why everytime I go in for a visit, they have new management or new workers. They can t keep anybody because they have terrible customer service. Do better Midas.

I would highly recommend this company. I dealt with Tim and his experience shows and professionalism. He definitely went above and beyond for me working with an insurance company that was a pain in the butt. If I ever have another issue with my vehicle this will be the first place I go.

The manager is always helpful and answers all questions without sounding condescending. In this visit, i was cocerned over a potential coolant issue. They inspected and tested my vehicle and didn't find anything concerning. I expected to needa radiator flush. He told me he couldnof course suggest it, but I didn't need it and why charge for a service I wasn't ready for. I have had many oil changes here and they always do a thorough inspection and never try to upsell extra services. I really appreciate the honesty of this Midas location.

I didn't get the vehicle care that we wanted and needed for our vehicles. I left a message with Midas Customer Service regarding the experience that I had at the 2 different locations, the same day Steve the Area Manager called me himself and the situation was resolved. Steve was so sympathetic and apologetic about the whole incident and guaranteed that I would receive better service. That we did, we received the Midas Touch.Thank You AgainTim is extremely helpful, patience, knowledgeable, attentive, friendly, and professional. Tim has gone beyond to accommodate me. I have been going to this Midas for several years and I can say this new staff is incredible. Edward is knowledgeable, skilled and professional. This service that we received made me bring the 2nd vehicle in for service and we still received excellent service.

Hard to find a honest shop now a days. Told us what was needed right now and what can wait. If you want a honest shop that won t charge you to fix stuff that you don t need or charge you for stuff they didn t even work on, look no further.
