One of the quickest, most honest and efficient mechanics I've ever been to. My car was over heating, he diagnosed and quickly fixed it for a fair a great price. Didn't try to upsell or fix other things. I found my new go to mechanic!

I used to love it here they were always nice and gave great prices. I called the other day for a general estimate and was told it would start at $40 and not go over $100 before I was called. I was called told my car was fixed it was simple headlight bulb replacement and I was charged almost $300 NEVER AGAIN! I am a single mom struggling and just buying a new house I don t have money to just throw away like that. I am very upset and disappointed!

5 stars!!! Main Street Auto came highly recommended from friends that have been going there for many years. When I needed front brakes and new tires I did a lot of shopping before calling and speaking with Ken and was pleased to get a quote significantly less than anywhere else I had called. I called just a couple of hours before I wanted to come in and they happily accommodated me. The work was done super fast and when I came back I was surprised when Don showed me the old parts. The rotors had seized to the wheel hubs and he explained that he had spent well over an hour manually beating on them to remove them. Additional labor charge? Nope. I paid exactly what they had quoted me. Desperately in need of tires that wouldn't be in until the next morning they encouraged me to take a loaner car at no charge rather than drive on bare tires. They also gave the whole car a good look-over and showed me what might need to be done in the future but were honest that I had more milage before I should be concerned. (Midas had told me that the rear brakes also needed to be done immediately). ZERO pressure to have unnecessary work done. There are plenty of shops closer to my house, but I will be going out of my way from now on for the honesty, great work and fair prices at Main Street Auto.

Replaced all 4 mounts on my jeep. Gave me a good price and had it done in 24 hours. Even showed me everything he had done along with the broken parts to verify. Crew has a great personality. Ive got a couple things left to do on my jeep and he's getting all the work

Not good high on estimate, they wanted to charge for every nut and bolt they have to turn. Had three tires mounted I took them off and dropped them off. Paid three different prices for same mount and balance.

Great service, great price. These guys are great mechanics and will do what it takes to fix your vehicle without charging you 2 arms and a leg for it. When you take your car here you can tell they care more about you than your money.

I cannot say enough positives about these guys. After having been told by a dealership that I needed a new intake manifold after a warning light in my car came on, I went to Main Street for another opinion (my only mistake was not taking it there right away). Ken diagnosed it as most likely a wiring issue, which was confirmed the following day when the repair was made. They saved me a lot of money. So, if you're looking for a fancy waiting area with donuts, coffee and juice, you won't find it here. It's an old fashioned garage with competent, ethical people who simply know what they are doing. I'm glad I live close.

This place is Awesome! I broke down on I65 Monday on my way back to Chicago and needless to say was in a bad situation. Not only did they get me a tow truck but they fixed my truck in under 24 hrs!! They are quick, professional and they dont rip u off with high labor fees! A million thanks and happy 4th u guys are life savers!! #honestmechanics

These guys are great. Adam was an extremely helpful mechanic who fixed our busted hub assembly and got us on the road again. He had a positive spirit, worked hard, explained everything and was so nice.

Do not take your car here. The owner is a thief. After reading the other reviews on here, I see I'm not the only one who had a problem. I took one of my cars there a while back and he ended up messing up my car even worse. After being without my vehicle for 3 weeks, I threatened the owner w legal action. After that, he finally did the right thing and had my car towed to the dealership so a real mechanic could fix it. Since he did me right and even paid for his mistakes, I decided to give him another chance and take my car there again. Evidently he took my kindness for weakness and felt the only way he could recoup some of his losses was to lie to me. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE!

Repaired my Van as needed then did a few preventive maintenance chores without charging me for them., fast turn around time and fair pricing. They will be doing all of my vehicle repairs in the future

Complete crooks. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. I also think most of these reviews are BS. Completed screwed up two of our vehicles before we thought to go to another mechanic. Wrong parts and all sorts of crookery. They screw you over and take your money and your vehicle will get worse and worse every time. They set you up to keep coming back with more expensive repairs needed over and over. Charged for things that we're not even done on and on

I have been coming here for 5 years with two high mileage Audis. I have never had a problem with them. They are as local as you can get and will make it right if for some reason you are not happy.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! THESE GUYS ARE THIEVES!!!! they stole my battery and replaced it with an old worn out battery and also my brand new tires and replaced them with used tires......these guys are thieves and I wouldn't recommend trusting them with your vehicle.

Always explains problems. Uses a computer diagnostic which also tells them approximately how many hours to fix. So they can give you a fair price.

Had my oil changed and purged sensor fixed in my 2015 Camaro I was in and out within 20 minutes and you couldn't beat the price

Rip offs dont trust them took truck there said they fixed problem but didnt went back and they wanted to charge me for the same problem take your car some where else rip offs

Got me for 300 fix a wire then van ran for couple days then back to broke down told me needs tune up and coil for another couple hundred did that myself still broke down
