Now is amazing!!!! I now have 2 vehicles. 2020 I bought a ford escape, I still drive it with No problems!!! Yesterday i came in and asked the impossible and MOE delivered. My second vehicles runs smooth! Thank you so much. Also a BIG shout out to Omar the owner and Mike! I highly recommend Hobart auto sales to anyone with impossible situations!

I would definitely recommend Hobart Auto Sales to anyone. I was scared of not being approved and Mike constantly reassured me that I would be fine . I drove off the lot the same day with a 2018 Chevy Malibu. They were very patient and made me feel comfortable with my buying process. Would recommend! Thank you Guys !

My experience was GREAT! Omar was very helpful when purchasing my new 2017 Chevrolet equinox. Him and Mike worked with me when picking out my vehicle. Omar is very understanding and easy to work with. All the salesman/women are fill with great personality and makes you feels welcome! I recommend everyone to come here and get a car!

NEWEST UPDATE: BE VERY CAREFUL HERE! TAKE SOMEONE KNOWLEDGEABLE!!! I paid an additional 4000$ for an extended warranty & it's now been a month since my complaints & no one has bothered to return my calls regarding my malfunctioning passenger window & the noises I hear when accelerating. Not the finance company, not the dealerships "service center", not the repair man the car dealership told me to contact, nobody! I bet if I missed my 1st payment though, or any payment, all hell would break loose & they would call me every single day & threaten to repo the car!!!! The only thing that WAS done... on 2/23/2024, Mike gave me 100$ off of the 700$ he made me pay after my down payment wasn't enough, & he ONLY offered the discount after demanding me to change my review back to a good one instead of the truth. I told him I didn't want his discount & I'd speak my truth always... he insisted I keep 100$ & again said to take this review down. I told him I would update it accordingly.Anywho... stupid, desperate me actually accepted the fact that the car needed brakes (not covered by the warranty) despite them not offering to repair or replace the brakes, knowing they were in need of repair before I left the lot (because I said something about it, but was told the brakes were fine because some woman in service area went & checked them out), & I trusted that I would hear back from their "service" department after complaining again on the 23rd of Feb. I haven't been contacted, updated, nothing. I'm just looking for a trusted source now to fix my window because sometimes it won't let up. I regret going to them alone & in need. I was taken advantage of & I see it all clearer now. Black women in need, building your credit... TAKE SOMEONE KNOWLEDGEABLE WITH YOU OR GO ELSEWHERE!!!! I'M WARNING YOU!!! There's soooo much more I'd like to say, but I'm now done completely with this issue. It's very depressing & I had an anxiety attack dealing with Moe & this whole ordeal, so I'm very much done with it now. There really is more to say, but I won't. I stand on my words, feelings & opinions. I'll pay my car notes faithfully & warn anyone who asks me where I got my car from.Lastly... I will say, the car itself is very cute, was clean for the most part, unfortunately they only gave me one key fob/key (no doubt they DO have the other one but wont give it up) & the mileage was great for the year. I'm not disappointed in the car I chose, but I do wish something would've been done about the brakes, the sound I hear upon acceleration & the malfunctioning window. Unfortunately, all of this is coming out of my pocket instead of being covered by the 4000$ extended warranty added to the cost of my car. I have to get my brakes & window fixed as well as pay for another key fob/key. For a 17000$ car, I hoped this wouldn't be the case. You've all been warned.___________________________________**I have an extended update coming soon. I'm just looking for the right words to explain everything in short form. I will say this now, though, be very careful dealing with this place if you're in need & are trying to work on building yourself up. Everything that sounds good isn't good if you aren't knowledgeable. They accepted my down payment as enough but only to wrangle me into paying more in increments to the dealership (that's not including my upcoming car note payments either) because they "helped" me get financing. So, after I go pay them the last 500$ on the 23rd of Feb, I'll update again. Oh and be careful with Mo... he will yell at you & threaten to take your car away if you ask questions after your purchase. I couldn't even mention my passenger window not functioning properly out of fear of losing my car because I asked why I was charged a selling price almost 1500$ over the listed selling price. Just be careful with these people... talk soon ___________________________________**1st review while at the dealership... WOW!!! When I say I had doubts... I had doubts. (I DELETED THE REST)

I found the PERFECT CAR at the PERFECT PRICE. Omar is the best he helped me when I needed it the most! Tony will work with you and help you get into something you ll love and he s awesome to talk to! Process was fast and smooth! Sam is great with letting you test drive and make sure you like the car you re in! Mike is sweet and explains everything really well! I am very happy with my purchase and I love this place! They re good people!

10/10 customer service!�Moe and Mike plus staff were very friendly and honest. They guaranteed I would leave with a car in which they kept their word.Highly recommend stopping into this dealership. They have a nice selection from all the brands you can think of! Moe provided great customer service, and was able to fulfill my needs when looking for my next car!

Mike is awesome. A month ago I was supposed to come in he could have wrote me off. Mike and his team is awesome, and every step of the way was pleasant from the cashier to salesman. Real professionalism across the board and they do thorough checks on cars!

This dealership was gem i wasn't expecting to find. Very professional, honest, informative, and trustworthy dealership. We Found the perfect suv here. They fought to keep my payments within my budget they also made sure we had a low APR% and a proper 3yr warranty and 5yr free maintenance . I couldn't be more satisfied with this dealership. I can definitely say I will return and refer others in need of a solid vehicle at a great price .

Update got 3 cars from them now Mike is the best Best Dealer in Hobart and Lake Station Area!!! Wonderful and great staff, amazing service. They treat you like family Highly recommended!! Perfect for low or no credit and first time buyers. No judgement and super friendly great family business. We have gotten 3 cars from them now and they are easy, simple and friendly. Mike Chloe Cam tony and the team are very funny as well. Can t say enough good things 5/5 stars

Moe the finance manager did a great job, he was outstanding and extra friendly the entire time. He helped me and my boyfriend understand things when we got confused and helped us get a great deal on our vehicle. I would recommend him every time. They were very very helpful in finding me a new car and walking me and my parents through the whole process. Definitely a place to look if you want an easy and stress free process!Update! Sadly, after 3 weeks of driving, my car started having many issues. My car sat at a mechanic for a week, with them having no idea where the problems were occurring from. I got it back, and the next day, I had to take it back to try something else. Still not a clue exactly what will fix it. It s upsetting that my first car buying experience is going like this on a car that I am paying a pretty penny on. Sucks that I was past my 10 days and couldn t go back here to do anything about it.

I left a nice review when I got the car because I thought they worked with me. The reality is they indeed scammed me. Very similar to a review by left by a lady named Fatima. I was in a tough situation and mentally overwhelmed I needed to get a car that same day. They told me $500 down okay (I had just put money down at another place and the car was a lemon and I was waiting for my refund ($1000). This place seemed more reputable .The down payment changed once I got there . I was already approved through a finance company and they ran my car 4-5 more times after I told them not to. Still I needed a car . I ended up with a Hyundai sonata (completely unaware of the theft trending at the time). My down payment went from $500 to $1250. They agreed to let me pay two installments for the remainder as I simply didn t have it that day. I agreed to call in the two payments . However they automatically charged my account with my permission as I didn t sign an ach form. My interest rate ended up being 23% with a 620 credit score because I was self employed . My car got broken into within a week. I called them to ask about selling Hyundai s and they told me they didn t know I d be in Chicago but I told them I work in the city and frequent it.My car has been broken into a total of 3x , 3 windows have been replaced . Because my steering column was compromised I couldn t get the anti theft soft ware . Everytime the window was just the insurance went up. Recently the car was stolen and now the entire ignition system is blown. I tried to trade the car in last year but because they charged me more than what it s worth I m upside down. They are not trying to help people , they are harming people . They are criminals . They prey on people in need and appear to give a damn but they don t . PLEASE DONT BUY A CAR HEAR! Kam did a great job. I came over to Hobart from another dealership after the car they sold me broke down.-Tbow

Want to give a huge shout out to the best in the game KAM THE MAN!! This guy has magic and is also one of the nicest dudes you will ever meet. Also want to give a shout out to Kelly in service!!! She is great at what she does and last but not least Mike this dude knows his stuff and is willing to help you in anyway he can. Overall great lot to deal with.

I have been having a rough time getting approved for financing. I called to start the process and see what I could do. Cam and Mike worked miracles!!! At first they told me the banks said no but then he called me back and worked out at great deal where my payment is extremely low for my situation andddd they worked with my down payment! They really got to know me and made sure I had options and felt comfortable. Really funny too! I got the car I wanted! I m super happy not stressed and grateful! Thank you guys!

Awesome crew! They got me in and got me rolling with no problem, but come correct. I paid 3.5k down, but my APR is still thru the roof due to my credit score, with monthly payments over $700. Be ready to make principle payments. The maintenance shop is great as far as the work performed, but even with appointment be ready to sit for a while or make plans to come to pick your vehicle up next day. All in all though I'm not mad and it is what it is when you're on the not so prosperous side of life.
