This was the absolute best service I've recieved while trying to fix my truck. Gave me an honest quote, kept their word on pricing. Called back with a diagnosis and gave me an honest quote on it. Also worked with me on a payment and had my truck back to me the next day!! Rebuilt my transmission, installed new reverse drum and torque converter in truck. Also does other vehicle maintenance!. HIGHLY RECCOMEND THIS SHOP FOR VEHICLE SERVICING!

I took my Chevy express van to get my transmission fixed and they gave me a decent price at first . And then I received a call from them telling me it s $2k more than what they told me at first. And I ended up getting it fixed there . But when I picked up the van I heard a loud noise in the muffler, when I drove the van in the expressway my transmission gave out again 5 minutes after I picked it up . So I took it back to them and they told me that they don t know why it messed up again! And I told them about the loud noise in the muffle they told me that they will fix that too because it was their responsibility to fix since they had done the mistake. So I picked up the van 4 days later and they told me it was fixed already even the loud noise . So when I picked up the van again it was late so they left me the keys under mat in the van and when I turned the van on the same loud noise from the muffler came back on again . The transmission runs ok now but the noise from the muffler never got fixed and when I called them after the next day they told me it was fixed! I don t know why worker told me that if it wasn t ! So please do not take your vehicle here they do not do a good job!

Avoid this repair place at all costs! We are from another state and our vehicle had issues near the I-65 Auto & Trans repair shop. We had no other choice but to stop there since it was late and the vehicle could not go on.I knew they had us at their mercy as we needed an alternator. Long story short Tom the manager ended up charging up over $1,000 for an alternator and belt. It's just one of those scenarios where he knew that he had us at his mercy and took full advantage of it. I would avoid this place at all costs.

I65 is a full service shop that takes the time to correctly diagnose the issue and provides affordable solutions. I'm not the type of gal that really understands how cars function, but the folks here will take their time to fully explain what's going on. Friendly front office staff and top notch mechanics. I highly recommend this shop!

Took it there to have a transmission work done gave me a price then added another thousand onto the price. Finally after a week got the truck had to take it back and left me stalled in the middle of winter. The guy has no sympathy. No customer service could care less. He already got his money 90 day warranty. Trust me don t go there. Truck is back in the shop. No reverse no second gear. This place is a joke.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

DON T USE THEM I had work done a few years back, having to take my car back 3-4 times before they could fix their work on my trans. My brother took in his car in today running fine, just for transmission maintenance, with no lights on for a transmission filter change. When they were done they pulled it out of the bay, just outside the overhead door. The car wouldn t move. They said the transmission was done, and it was not their responsibility. I would not take my car there for a code check. Very Dishonest and horrible work. The manager just kept making excuses why it s not their fault I can t believe this is possible there was no sign inside saying not responsible is your car doesn t work after we service it Service: Transmission

They mentioned same day service. They don t tell you they are switching out your items for junk yard rebuild items. The replaced my transmission and transfer case with junk yard replacements. There was no need to switch these items out being the transfer case was in great condition. All they had to do was rebuild the transmission and place it back into the Tahoe. Still making noises and was told that the warranty lapsed. The spilled a solvent on my Tahoe and gave it back to me as such. Spent my valuable time rectifying. Still an issue today. Please be advised!!!Would not go there again.

I went in for transmission rebuild and was initially told the price was 1399.00. We agreed upon the price and after it was taken apart they called me and told me it would be 3000.00. After picking up my vehicle i had noticed no difference really. My check engine light was on and my exhaust was now loud. It still felt like i had transmission issues amd smoke was coming from underneath my vehicle now. I brought my vehicle back to the shop and explained what i was experiencing. I was advised to leave the vehicle there again which ended up costing me more money because i still needed to get to and from work. After 4 more days i was told i cpuld come get the vehicle. When i picked it up i was told that i should have no issues from the transmission but now i needed a throttle body. I had owed a remaining 400.00 and was asked for the rest of the money. Due to all the money i had spent I hadnt had the whole 400 at the time of puck up and so i paid 200.00 and we agreed to have the rest paid by next pay day. As i drove home i still felt like there was something wrong with the trans. I ended up leaving to go out of town and had to drive to the airport. I parked my car at a paid parking lot and when my family and i returned we got in the vehicle and jumped on the highway. My check engine light came back on, my car sounded louder than ever and we felt a jerking vibration while in motion. We ended up having to have the vehicle towed to a dealer. The throttle body was fixed and i was advised that the shop that did the trans work damaged my exhaust system or had poorly patched things up after dropping my trans. So i ended up taking the vehicle back to the shop friday morning and explained everything still basically feels the same if not worse. I was told not to worry and that they would get on top of it. I waited all day friday and was told they coildnt get to it. Here it is now saturday, i was told they would get back to me and now its currently end of business hours apparantly and i have not received an update. Its 2:41pm. Their website says they close at 3 and yet when I call no one is answering. They seem to close before the hours listed on line. I've not had a good experience. God knows if I had have known they would do me like this I would have never gave the shop my business. Now I'm stuck between a rock amd a hard placw because ive already paid them 2900.00 and i feel like i'm still in the same position. After going on line seeing all these bad reviews i feel even worse. From the heart. Will be reporting to the BBBService: Transmission

I had a problem with a 2006 Nissan Altima not shifting properly. I took the vehicle to a Nissan dealership that stated I needed a new transmission. I had just had the engine replaced. So, seeking a second opinion I took it to I-65 Complete Auto. Well, I can honestly say that I was prepared for the worst and was ecstatic that they found an improper connection and fixed the problem quickly. I really like to thank them for their honesty and commitment to offering excellent customer service.

They do shotty work.. and I have no proof but I believe they will destroy your transmission and then offer to replace it with one they have in a junk car in the back. But they will claim to rebuild it.Check out the Better Business Bureau website and you will see they have multiple complaints and are not accredited. You could bring your car in working perfectly and then after they do a shotty job tell you they will need to rebuild your transmission.Service: Transmission

Took my car into 3 different places for a check engine light. 2 places told me i needed work done that I couldn't afford. So I tried i-65 transmission and they were great. Being a single woman I have found repair shops like to take advantage of that. I feel, that here, they were honest and my car was fixed within a short amount of time and it was not the major problem one of the other places tried to sell me. Thank you I - 65 transmission. Hopefully I won't need anytime soon, but you'll be my first stop next time.

Just throwing my stone in the waters here. I-65 transmission surprised me with a few things. I spoke with Tom in February after my car sat for 6 months. Tom offered to pick up my vehicle from my home at no charge and they had my transmission rebuilt in a couple days after that. The price was better than I expected and I made sure not to write a review for 2 months, just to be sure it wasn't a temporary fix. I have not had any issues yet with the car. It runs great now! Pete was the last person I spoke with and he told me not to worry about coming to pick up my vehicle. He had it brought to my work at no extra charge and didn't even make me pay for the whole deal until showed up in front of my work. I was glad to work with them! Thanks Tom and Pete!

Trans on our '07 Ford Fusion went out on a trip to Wisc. Left car at Ford dealer, who found the control module had failed ($600 part + labor=$1200). Error codes fixed, but all the soft parts were trashed, since the fluid was black; it just slipped too much to drive. Had it towed to our house (South suburbs) where I-65 picked it up (free). The tow driver missed picking it up on Friday, but called and was most apologetic Monday; he wondered if we still wanted it taken in, & I told him we did. $2K for a complete (hard & soft parts) rebuild, done in a reasonable amount of time, and it works flawlessly. They even replaced the speed sensor, which didn't show any problem until *after* everything else was fixed. Almost NO dealer (or repair shop, for that matter) would have eaten the cost to replace the sensor, as I couldn't prove that it was faulty when it came in. The fact that the owner told me *immediately* that there would be no charge says volumes about their integrity; I wish there were a more stores like them closer to where I live. If it matters, I drove my own vehicles commercially for 35 years -- in cars, vans, straight trucks, and semis - over a million miles, the lion's share of which was in the Chicago Metro Area. I earned the Order of the Skinned Knuckle many years ago, since we did our own maintenance for the first 25 years. I've dealt with dealers, small shops, big shops, and shade tree mechanics, and can confidently say that I wish all our service providers had been as honest and reasonably priced as I-65 was. BTW, the gentleman I spoke with was named Pete - ask for him if you're getting a repair. I-65 had the best price & guarantee (within at least a 30-mile radius) from all the phone shopping we did. Lifetime warranty on labor (at their shop, which can be upgraded to nationwide coverage (more $$$)) -- which we couldn't find anywhere else. They're not perfect, & the shop is no trendy cafe. But I'd go back there in a minute if I had a problem with my other car's trans. I give them 5 stars -- which I almost *never* do. There may be negative reviews, but most people don't have hands-on experience with a lot of repairs - I do. Some folks have unreasonable expectations and get upset when they're not met. Others get an unlucky combination of events that make it seem like they're getting shafted when they're not -- that has happened to me, too. Still others are simply never pleased, and always being a "victim". If you're always a victim, don't bother shopping there. If not, I heartily recommend them.

One of the men at the front desk was very friendly, and made me feel comfortable walking in, so I felt like I could trust them with some of the good reviews that I read. I paid $200 to get my transmission leak fixed and not even a week later it's still leaking. One thing that was odd was they told me the power steering was leaking, but the oil changing place did not inform me. Usually they go a great job telling me what's leaking. I took it to my personal mechanic before I-65 "fixed" the leak and he said there was no leak with my power steering. After I-65 "fixed" the leak I took it to my neighbor who is also a mechanic and he said someone put oil dry into my power steering and that I'll probably need it fixed soon. I'm pretty sure I-65 did that to find more work to do on my car. I'm a young college student and I can't afford places like this ripping me off. Their work is guarenteed, but if they didn't do it right the first time , I cant imagine them doing it right the second time. I'm also afraid that if I took my car back there, they will try to put oil dry in other fluids or will to do other damages to my car. I never write reviews, but I don't want other people to get ripped off like I did. SAVE YOURSELF the headache and don't waste your money here!!!!!!

This place put a transmission in for me 2 yrs ago and now the transmission acted up soon after I got it done and claimed it was the Electronics with the transmission. Had my car for 3 days and never gave me an estimate or blew me off when I called them. The owner knew I only had 1 car and needed my car then to charge me $500 & stated that was a great deal. I will never go there again and don't go there either unless U like to be ripped off and listen to some BS story. How do they sleep at night doing this to people I will never know. The Sheriff's Department stopped taking there vehicles there now IC why.

Do Not I repeat!! Do not support these crooks!!! I had my car cvt transmission rebuilt quoted at $3,000 by the owner. They took over 3 wks to "fix" the car, and anytime I called just to find out the status they kept saying someone would call me back and no one ever did. I was so frustrated I finally said I am coming today to get my car. When I got there, not only did the owner change the price to $5000. Which I know he lied about because I was calling around to get the best deal and I wrote it down after he gave me the quote. He then says well I have to pay 1500 for their time if I don't want it fixed.Really, So I paid the $3,000 on the premise of if i need to use the warrany I have to pay the balance and went home. If that wasn't enough, as soon as I made it to my block at home the car stopped in the middle of the street. I called furious and they were closing so they assured me first thing in the morning they would tow my car back. If 11am is first thing in the morning than I guess they were right. They kept my car a few days and when it was time to pick it up they promised to also have it detailed. But yet again it was a different story once I got my car. Now there was a large cup of ice tea, cigarette ashes on my seat and ash tray opened, and grease stains on my seat and floor. And I do not smoke!!! I could not believe the lack of service and just disgusting behavior from a business. I have never experienced worse service in my life. When I spoke to the owner he justified the mechanics behaviour, and I quote, "Well maam my guy had to drive your car a long distance, he was in your car sitting for awhile trying to find the problem." So that gives him the right to smoke in my car! To drink AND not throw away his garbage!! This experience happened last year and I had the same problems for months until I just bought a new car. But please I wish I would have never gave them my time or money. Do Not Support this Business!!!!!!!!!

Consumers Beware! Went to this place in Feb 2015 to get my trans rebuilt on a 2001 Ford Ranger, only to be told it couldn't be rebuilt, yeah right. So I paid $1700 for a remanufactured one. Less than a week later all the fluid leaked out, due to their negligence. Waited a week to get it towed back, then another two weeks to get it back. Then the owner blew smoke up my ass, saying he replaced lines, fittings. Not, they fixed the leak, that's it, nothing else as stated. What business owners asks to be paid in cash. A shady one, that's who. Consumers beware, Read Reviews before using a repair place for the first time. I65 Auto you have a rating of 2.9, does that tell you something or are we the idiots.

Very bad work told me they rebuilt my trans and had a lifetime warranty on labor trans went bad less than a year. After that they charged me 1900.00 for a complete remanufactured i65 trans and all they did was do some work to my old trans and didn't even rebuild it right.this only lasted one month.took it back to them and they could not fix it right.turns out it had a bad front pump. They had the truck several times and could not fix the problem.they are bad people to deal with and don't go to this place.you will get ripped off

Worst transmission shop ever. Crooked business owners. Unprofessional. Over charged us on a rebuilt transmission price went from 1200 to 1800. Transmission was never flushed if the did rebuild. Fluid was still dirty. Mechanic sabatoged our fuel line by crimping it w pliers. Car was worse after we left than when we arrived. Had to pay other people to rebuild their work. The owners here have no idea whats going on one of them tried to charge me for three coil packs and new injectors. I only have one coilpack and the injectors were fine. Trans fluid was coming out of the vents. I took it to the ford dealership. I was told they over filled my trans by two quarts. After calling i65 they said they always put extra fluid in cause it makes the trans last longer. I have checked with other certified mechanics and it is not the right thing to do. Who ever hold the certification there for trans work should lose it. I wouldn't have them touch my car if i stood over their shoulder. Owners are a joke.

If I read reviews before I get there, I probably won't be scrued. I won't be open that door again.1. You have wait 10 min to someone com to desk to welcome you.2. Give you price quote and then change the price when job is don and ask for cash to pay.3. Never tall you when the job will be done.4. Never give you paper list on job and price. For on hour job on my car it take from Tuesday to Monday to be done, increased price for from $200 to $300 and like to be paid in cash.Definitely I won't be even look this place.

This place is a JOKE! My mom had her transmission "fixed" here and spent over $3,000 for the job. They claim it's under warranty for 6 months, and her "new" transmission went out 6 1/2 months later. They seem so nice, and make you want to trust them, but they are lying, thieving, idiots who don't know their ass from their elbow! I don't know how they sleep at night knowing they are ripping off countless innocent people! Save your time and money and NEVER go to this place for ANYTHING!!!

Never go here I'm out of $10,000 fooling around with these yahoos slick talkin con artist. Had to bring my truck back 4 times it was always something different the warranty was void or it was a different part that was the cause of the failure. every time I brought it back cost money. Transmission is supposedly fixed but now my engine is pouring out anti freeze. I have to tow it away. Hiw did they test drive my truck if its pouring out antifreeze all over the place? No stars. Never go here plus it has been three weeks since I brought it back. Im honestly scared to drive it. Pete & Tom are the absolute worst. I have no idea how they are still in business.

READ THIS BEFORE GOING HERE!!! Ok, my transmission went out, quoted $160 for tow and diagnostic, $1000 if trans needs rebuilt. Car got towed, they said the trans is bad and it needs rebuilt for $1600 or a diff trans for $2000. I declined as I only had $1000 to work with, therefore they towed my car back to my house. At that point the final price for tow and pulling the trans went to $389. That I could live with. Upon receiving my car back I notice the trans that was in a bin taken apart was NOT the same trans they pulled from my car. I called them and said I intended to come pick up the exact trans he pulled from my car, for I took a video of myself putting a mark on my trans to ensure I was getting back MY trans. This didnt make them happy. The trans they sent back with my car was rusted bad on the inside and full of dirt and leaves like it had been sitting outside for 3 years. A recently used trans will have NO rust in it. Anyway, they said I was givin the "wrong" bin when they towed my car back to me, and they asked me to call before I drove up there. Why? RED FLAG. I shouldnt need to give you a heads up that Im coming to get whats rightfully mine. So I drive up there to the shop without calling, Pete greets me and I ask for Tom (mechanic who worked on my car). He says Tom isnt in yet and asked if I could come back in 30 mins. I declined and said Id just stay there and wait. Pete goes into the shop and came back, says Tom is busy atm so he doesnt want to bother him. 1 minute ago Tom wasnt even there? So Pete goes off and gets the "correct" bin which had my trans in it. He sits it in front of me and says "heres your parts man, every F'IN part!, its junk so you cant do nothin with it" and walks away. If it were junk why did they say they could rebuild it for 1600? Not to mention when they pulled it they spray painted it. They were mad that I came to get it, their intentions were to keep my trans and part it out or rebuild n resell it by sending a junk rusted trans home with my car thinking I wouldnt know any better. Unfortuntely for them I marked my trans before sending it to them, not to meantion Im mechanically inclined enough to know what Im looking at when it comes to car parts. Basically they tried pulling the "bait and switch" scam by luring me in with a cheap rebuild quote and they steal your good parts and give you junk. Whatever you do, do NOT go here!! If you do go here make darn sure you take pictures of whatever part you plan on having replaced so this doesnt happen to you. Or put marks of somekind on it so you know its really being replaced. These guys sound nice, but they are shady and should not even be in business. In the end I got my trans, its in 300 pieces which I expected but now I have the option to use it as a core or scrap it out, which would have been free money to them if I hadnt gone back to get it. Do yourself a favor and dont think about it, simply DONT GO HERE!!!
