Burned 2x. Never again. My son took his car there to have his headlight fixed. He bought all the materials himself. The tech told him the connecting wire he d bought at Auto Zone was incorrect. We took the car & the piece back to Auto Zone and they again confirmed we had the correct connection wire. Against my warning, my son took the car back to Levin and told the Levin tech the proper installation technique the Auto Zone employee instructed. Levin charged him $150 for 30-45mins of labor for a headlight install. No parts. Just labor.The first bad experience we were quoted almost $500 for and oil change & fluid flush. The oil change wasn t done at all, but the price stayed the same. Didn t realize the oil change wasn t done until later when looking at the receipt.I ll never go back. I ve been a customer of the Winfield location for years. I ve never had any issues there. But the 2x I ve gone to Highland, I ve had problems both times.

Great place to get your car fixed! Very attentive and reasonable. Quinn gave us absolutely the best customer service possible and answered all our questions! The mechanics also very pleasant to work with! Very honest with their labor and work.

My family and I had to come into town from Fort Wayne for a funeral. We had a mishap and had something dragging underneath our vehicle. After services we stopped at Levin Tire Center with no appointment. The staff was courteous, friendly and professional. Quinn was working the counter and after a short wait we were on our way with the piece reattached. I highly recommend them for anything your vehicle needs. Thanks for everything.

Do NOT recommend! We recently had an issue with our strut mount bearings and strut links. However, after paying a lot of money to get them fixed, we noticed it rattling not long after the fix. We took it to another mechanic and were told it was connected to the original problem. We took it back to Levin and told it was something else. We then took it to a mechanic who clearly showed it WAS connected to the original issue. We talked to a different mechanic who also found it strange that everything was not fixed at the same time.In the end, we had to take it in five times (three times to Levin and two times to another mechanic) to get the original issue resolved. Upon asking Levin how they would make it right, they said they would apply a coupon and not charge us labor costs as it should have been done the first time.However, we were still charged for labor. Upon arriving my wife was told the amount ($370), she wrote the check and was told she needed to re-write the check because it was actually $370.71. If they wanted to make it right, Levin should have owned up to not doing it correctly the first time and eaten the $370 cost. Instead, they charged the full amount, plus labor (which they said would be removed) and pushed the final 71 cents, which they had not quoted to my wife.My sister, at a different Levin location, also had a really poor experience. She had a routine oil change, and they did not check the oil drain pan plug. She drove all the way back to her house and noticed that the car was leaking oil. It almost ruined the engine, running it dry. I would NOT recommend them in any way.To treat customers in this way and to bill them excessively is just poor customer service and business. We will not be returning.***The company did issue a full refund and did stand behind their work. We appreciate how they made it right. Thank you and we may consider returning in the future.

Quinn helped me out today, very clear with explaining the service to me. As a woman going into any car service shops or dealerships can be intimidating, but they definitely eased that feeling here. This will for sure be my go to tire shop, thanks for all you guys do!

I had a blowout on I-80 and was able to get off at Indianapolis Blvd. then limp down to Levin. They were friendly and helpful. although they did not have the tire I needed in stock, they borrowed one from the tire store next door and got me on my way in an hour or so. Highly recommended.

Spoke with Quinn on Friday, they didn t have my tire in stock, said they could have it delivered today (Saturday) at noon. The shop was very busy when I arrived at 12:30. Witnessed Quinn on the phone raise his headset microphone, audibly swear, then lower his mic and continue talking to the customer on the phone.When it was my turn, I was told that there is no way in ... swore... they could get my car in today, maybe if I got there earlier. I asked if half an hour would have made that much a difference to which Quinn replies yeah dude there was like 5 customers in the last half an hour .Can t fault the shop for being busy but man was this guy unprofessional. What good is a road hazard if they don t stock the tires and can t deliver a service within the time frame of working hours.I will never be back to Levin in highland. Go see Cheryl in Crown Point.

Was told the tires would be replaced within 2 hrs only to call after 4 to find they hadn't even started. Almost 6 hrs later we received a call. If you're busy just be honest! I'd rather plan for a 6 hr wait and be pleasantly surprised if it's done in 5.5.The sad part is they used to keep their word which was the reason we went back this time. Never again!

Great service and friendly staff. I got a great deal on a new set of Goodyear Tires with a nice rebate to go with it. I called in the morning to see if they had the tires I wanted. They ordered the tires for me and had them before I got off of work.

I have been using Levin Tire and Service for many years.Great staff and fair prices.Not only do I use them but I introduced my oldest son to this place. Quinn and team were very helpful and were able to quickly diagnose and fix my issue with tires/sensors the day I brought it in. Appreciated the communication, very fair pricing, and being able to get me in again the same day to get my pressure light to turn off (my car does not have a reset TPMS button and it needed to be reset internally). Great service!

Didn t stand behind work had to have truck towed back twice wen I called they wouldn t honor warranty the disconnected my two way alarm wouldn t hook back up left it on seat didn t compensate me had to pay twice for same problem I spent about $15,000 with them in two years on two vehicles busted my radiator taking out water pump and charged me for new radiator called corporate they did nothing I have all reciepts with warranty that now me nothing

Took my vehicle in to have the tires rotated, is free if you bought your tires there. Was told my rack and pinion was leaking and needed to be replaced. Also had a nail in one of the tires. Told them to fix the tire and I would pick it up. When I went to pick it up was told by Brian that the rack and pinion was missing Cotten pins as well and that if I drove it I risked the power steering motor failing and the repair costing a lot more. I took it to a mechanic that I trusted, he told me that the rack and pinion was fine {Bone Dry} and that there were no cotter pins missing. Saved $1900 by getting a second opinion. Also they only rotated 2 of the tires. Paid the mechanic to rotate the other two. If it would let me I would do 0 stars.Service: Tires

I had a slow leak on one of my tires. In an effort to save time, I took the wheel off my car at home, and dropped it off at Levin. I received a call that the leak was fixed. I was appalled at the condition of the wheel when I picked it up. The wheel was filthy and covered with some brown substance. When I asked Levin employee to clean it, he seemed irritated. They did wash it, but but it still looked worse than when I dropped it off. They even suggested that I brought it in this way. I have been a customer for several years, and have purchased a few sets of tires over the years. See ya Levin, you lost a customer.

Little pricey they took my steering wheel cover off don't know why trashed inside of car took everything out of my glove box they lost a pin off the engine cover don't know why they took it off looked at stuff i did not want to have done car was dropped off just for rear hub bearings my step son know s My car and doesn't think it needs All that work he is going to look at it

On a 3500 mile road trip I got a flat about 3 miles from here, and thank the lord I did. They were able to assist me right away, repaired the tire and had me back on the road in less than 30 minutes of my arrival. Couldn't possibly be happier, they made a rather dire situation completely painless.

Justin and crew are great. Had an automotive problem that a dealership couldn't figure out. My car sat at that dealership for weeks. I remembered getting quality service from Levin previously. Called Justin, had the car towed from the dealership to Levin. They assessed and repaired my car in expert fashion. They treat you with respect. Great peopleService: Engine repair

Big thank you to Levin s. We had a tire blow out on our way to Michigan and called them to help replace our tire. We knew we would get there just before they closed and they still said to come down and they ll take care of it. We got there at 6:55pm, they took the car in, replaced the tires quickly at a very fair price. Thanks to the team there for saving our weekend! If you want to be treated right and not taken advantage of, this is the place to go! I have been taking my cars here for years and they always take care of me and my cars! I was helped by Dave, who was extremely helpful and straightforward with all of my tire replacement options and prices. He made the rebate process super easy and gave me all the necessary information to make sure it was a painless process. Installation happened same day and was faster than predicted. I will definitely go back if I need any repair/service in the future.

I will never go to Levin Tire again. I went in for an oil change and asked them to look at a tire that was low due to a bent rim. They claimed that there was a nail in the tire and that they fixed it. When I was pulling out of the parking lot I noticed the low tire pressure indicator light didn t turn off. I drove a few blocks but the light stayed on. I turned around and went back to Levin and had them check the tire pressure and the bad tire was still 10 pounds low on air. They charged me $30 to fix the tire and never touched it. I took the tire to Tire Barn and they told me the tire had never been patched or repaired. They did find the bent rim and fixed it.Mike Powell the manager at the Highland store is a dishonest man. Stay away. They will rip you off.Services: Tires, Auto maintenance
