I was in contact with the Owner Bob and he was extremely transparent and easy to work with. I struck a large Lake Shore Drive Chicago pothole and bent my front driver's side wheel badly. Bob offers a great service along with justification as to what he needed to do to repair the wheel. They also explained before that they wouldn't have the factory paint (Ferric Grey) which I was okay with and didn't expect them to. Considering the amount it was bent it's hard to make it perfect, however he also explained to me why it was best to leave it at the condition they got it to instead of risking cracking the wheel striving for perfection. He truly went above and beyond for me I recommend his services to anyone who can relate to the pictures below.

I go here quite often, and strangely more than I ever thought I would... I went once for my one tire, then my sister needed a tire. Then I needed another tire. Then my son's tire, then my niece's car... Well these guys are apparently my go to tire source. It just happened.

I had a crack in one of my rims that needed to be welded. They were very upfront with pricing and had everything done next day. I would definitely use them again in the future if needed.

The guy in the back didn t seem too interested in fixing my wheel. Tried to say it wasn t bent, but the owner and I looked at it while it was on the balancer, and could see it was bent. The owner said they could get it done, but I need to leave it overnight. Couldn t leave it that night so I brought it back the next week. Dropped it off. Got a call a few hours later saying they weren t willing to work on it since it was, a narrowed wheel with a bead weld around it. Same thing they had it seen the previous week and guy in back had run his finger on. Complete waste of my time. Thankfully, they are far from the only place to get a wheel repaired.

Great place to purchase rims and tires... Bob was very helpful the rim I needed cost 250 bucks brand new but Bob had one that looked damn near new for 100 bucks then he has tires brand new all the way to 25 dollar used but the used tire was in such good shape I decided to buy it instead of a new one. They mounted balanced and put the new rim and tire on my car and I was back on the road in less than 10 mins. Great business.

I have been going there for years and I never am disappointed. When ever I am in need of a hub cap spair tier or a tier rim if they don't have it they will help you find it somewhere else. This place is so dependable I said all family and friends there. I hope the place never closes that's how much they have helped in the past.

I had a great experience with this company. I met Bob and Bob is very no nonsense..."tell me why you are here" kinda guy but he took a look at my son's rim said they couldn't repair it. He checked to see if they had one in stock..they did not. But why I'm leaving this review is for this next step that he did. He actually found another place that did have it for me. I did not ask him to do that he did not have to do that he was not affiliated with this other company in any way. I'm thankful for Bob who may not smile at you but gives great customer service

This place is a joke! i would list this place as a your last option . The welding job was horrible cost $240 to just to need your rim to be welded again in a couple of months. took 3 months for their cheap weld to crack again mind you the crack was only a 1/4th long he does not know what he s doing. On top of that he tried selling me a spare for $80 this man is a joke!

First time going here. Fast service. Friendly workers took care of me and let me know every detail about my 2 tires that had slow leaks. Decent prices . Got 2 plugs and a reseal. Ill see how it goes in a few weeks.

If you don't mind having to negotiate with used tire pirate s.. you'll get one with a nail already in it yeah they'll put a plug in it and one with tire rot and they'll charge you $40. You should be glad since there aren't any other places nearby and you are in trouble!well @ least they balanced it.

This owner has told another lie! While in the shop, he claimed that he told me over the phone that he told me the total price, and, since I was paying by my debit card, that he was not going to cover the taxes, and, fees! But, now he claims that, he's only doing what other retailers do?? I just put my vehicle in the shop today for repairs. That shop told me the price for cash, then told me the additional price I have to pay, if I used my debit/credit card! So, thanks to that shop, I know to go to the cash station, and, get cash! This owner is a liar! My family has owned several businesses, until we sold, and, we never operated on lies, like this guy does!!I was quoted a price for a rim, but, he charged me an extra $15 for using a debit card. He lied, and, claimed that he said he told me he quoted a cash price for the rim. I'm the type of person, that, if I knew it was going to cost extra for using my debit card, I would have brought in cash! The guy didn't have to lie! To me, that's bad business! I'll never go there again!

Love this place! Got quoted 1800 to replace bent rims for college daughter's car and couldn't find anyone in northwest indiana that could repair. So happy to have found Hub Cap World & Tire. Impressive gentleman behind the desk was most helpful and walked us through the process. Work was done in a timely manner and price was fantastic. We are recommending this place to everyone!

Excellent service!! Had a cracked rim and they were able to weld and repair it! Thwy told me 40 minutes but it seemed like it only took about 20-25 minutes.Now I have a place to go for cracked rims. Will Definately go back if in need.

2 BBS RX-207's cracked from potholes... Called about 6 places and got prices anywhere from $120/wheel (discounted from $160), to $300. Called these guys. After asking a few questions they quoted $155 TOTAL. Dropped them off and picked them up next day. These guys are polite, professional, and they definitely know what they're doing. They showed me where the cracks were welded together, showed me where they bent the wheel back flush, and even color-matched the paint and painted over their work. Will put them back on my '04 Passat tomorrow and revise the review if needed.Great job guys. I really appreciate it. I will refer everyone I know to you guys for all repairs.

Was able to purchase a replacement rim at a fair price, but the shop seems like there is not enough employees to handle the customers. Was waiting for 15 minutes and was barely acknowledged, so I just left.

Cracked a wheel on my 2013 Mercedes c300. Used wheel woulda cost well over $700! I was able to get my wheel fixed (welded, not just some quick patch) and even a dent straightened out in about an hour. The whole staff was friendly and they did an amazing job on my whee! Highly recommend!

This is definitely the place to go. They will work with you on prices and make sure you leave with having the upmost satisfied experience. I love this place. I refuse to go anywhere else. These guys have hearts!!! I wish I would of got the name of the mechanic that handled my vehicle, he was the best. Thank you hubcap world!

$70 for a used tire installed. Complete RIP OFF! HORRIBLE SERVICE! Cranky old man behind the counter, made no eye contact during the sale. Gouged for an extra $15 dollars easy. I should have complained in there but I didn't want to make a big deal. Go here if you like to be TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF, because you need a used tire and cant afford brand new. I'll never go here again and I hope no one else ever does.

Came all the way from Tinley Park Illinois, glad I did. Pep boys told me I had a bent rim so I went here to get it straightened. They checked the rim and showed me it wasn't bent. They found the cause of my vibration and gave me advise on how to fix. An honest shop. Highly recommend.

Best in the area for rim repairs with the latest high end machinery/tools to get the job done! The rims are welded using syncrowave tig technology I would definitely recommend friends and family.

I'm here at this place now and a gentleman by the name of Miguel He is the reason why I came back I had a curve again my Room you gave me up watching information that was very helpful excellent customer service friendly knowledgeable Quality work cheap prices I am getting the work done here I will recommend this place to anyone and I will come back

This place is a rathole. I talked to an employee named Mike who ensured me that somebody would be there on a Saturday a few minutes after they closed to sell me 4 tires for a Mercedes S-Class. I arrived at 4:03pm and drove to Hammond on my way to Chicago from Champaign, and some very nice people who lived in the same building tried to contact the owner Bob for me. After finally getting in touch with Bob, who was there at the time, he claimed to not even know who Mike was or why I was at his business, after offering to call Mike...Don't ever do business with these people.

I've been there for minor rim repair and used temporary tires nice old man good service even when I went and was asking the guy doing the work a bunch of question while he was working which I hate personally he didn't even mind I would go back or recommend to any 1 for quick repairs

Nice prices for used tires and they always have my size in stock when no one else in the area does.
