I personally love this place. My Chevy Malibu needed brakes put on, and they did it within 2 hours while advising me to take the parts back to get my money back at autozone for the warranty given on the parts. I will strongly consider them when i know exactly what needs to be done my car.

If you need reliable affordable car repairs, this is the place! Very kind and helpful. My back brakes needed to be replaced. They took me in right away. I felt my safety was very important to them.I've been to several places and hands down Economy Brakes was the best choice. Amazing work at an affordable price. I definitely will come here for all my repairs.It's worth the travel. I was blessed to find this place.Side note: The location is right next to the Puppy place on Calumet Ave. The doors are only closed because of the weather but they are definitely open and available.They took really good care of me today. I call this Place the Car Doctor for my 2005 Toyota Camry, this place is fast while providing Great Quality Service at the sametime ... They change my Steering mount in a few hours .. My vehicle drove like new ... THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE , I WILL EVER TAKE MY CAR !!!

Very poor customer service do not take your car or truck here if you want it fixed! But if you want to just give money away this is the place!Local isn t always best.Very disappointed with my experience

Just came from here getting my muffler fixed and I can't speak highly enough of how great an experience I had. The women working the desk was so kind and lovely and the mechanic did a great job and was very speedy.. .i was out within 1 hr. Most of all they gave me the best price over 4 other places I went to before them . I HIGHLY recommend giving them your business. Hope not to have to.. but will absolutely be returning if I have any further car troubles 10/10

I'm giving 2 stars since nothing was ever done to my car. Called explained the issue. Was told to come in. Been here for over an hour without any help. Guys literally standing around. This is my 2nd attempt to get my exhaust put back on. Would NOT recommend, unless you have days to spare for an hour long job.

The whole experience was great. I mean getting a brake job is never fun but the people there made it enjoyable. Everyone was very nice. Cheap prices and good labor. I would highly recommend this place to anyone on a budget that need a break job done.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

My advise to anyone that's reading this review, save your time and money and go somewhere else. We had bad experiences with the wife that took over the business. It's changed since husband left, they hired inexperienced mechanic's who will over charge you and they don't know what their doing. A simple oil filter fell off, and the diagnostic is way off. And if you make a complaint, you will not get your money back. Google other places on Calumet St. Going South,.. Have a nice day!

The front desk receptionist had a very nasty attitude they also poured water all over my radiator when they were supposed to be fixing my condenser! They also have illegal people that are not authorized to be working at the shop highly recommend that you go somewhere else! They will also over charge and continue to mess up your car if your African American!Service: Air & cabin filter replacement

Please do not go to this place, piss poor service. Took car for a smoke test didn't get that told me other things where wrong with my car which I was already aware of. They kept my car all day. I call 3 times and they kept telling me they would call back each time.The shop closed and the lady told me to pay her 65.00 cash to get my car back. 65.00 dollars gone for nothing.

They charged me and my warranty company for labor but they only did one side ,I bought my own brakes and rotors my warranty on my car covered the caliper that the shop bought .. the lady told me 42.50 for labor since they only did one side then the next day 47.50 ?? and then they sent the invoice to my warranty company along with labor fees ! So if you re changing then why are you charging me as well!Service: Brakes

Reasonable, knowledgeable. Bring the part they will only charge for labor. Check ahead of time because they may be busy. I bring all my vehicles here for light mechanical work in the past year.

This place is so unprofessional got some work done and there were no lights on my dash got my car back it was lights on the dash and they kept my lock key to my tires in which I need because my brakes wasn't squeaking now they are bad business

Come here if you like to waste money on repairs you don't even need and if you want a headache. Mechanic has no idea what he is doing and they created a whole new problem for my car.

They charged too much to weld a muffler. When they don't know how to weld. The metal was not even melted and the muffler fall off by it self.

Doesn't understand English too well. And they give a very vague receipt. And they left some work that they did out of it. I don't know if they just didn't do the work and they kept the parts I bought or if they did the work and just didn't write it down
