I took my 1980 Firebird in and I'm very pleased! This place does great work and the price is very fair! I highly recommend Widco!!!

Head my transmission looked over. Same thing I had done at the Ford dealership. Ford diagnostic said shift solenoid/ electrical problem could cost me between 1800 to $2000. Went to Widco, from advise of a friend, They Diagnosed it can with the same problem so I had them take care of it for me in it cost meless than $200. A little greasy hole in the wall shop not much to look at but the best worked on transmissions within a 1000 miles

You know I have never had a fantastic experience like this before, or a most honest mechanic and owner as I did in Harold at Widco transmission. I took our mountaineer in to have my transmission rebuild and Harold called me a week later to let me know it wasn't the transmission at all. It was a problem with the drain plug and a crack. He fixed the crack changed the fluid out and fixed the drain plug. He saved me hundreds of dollars. I bless you Widco and thanks so much Harold for your utmost honesty. It's very rare to find this quality of work and customer service. If you need transmission work done Widco is the place to go. Thanks again for your honesty Harold.Service: Transmission

I had these guys rebuild the 32RH out of my 97 wrangler after I lost first gear, and they did a great job. The cost was roughly half of what I'd been quoted by other shops, so I was a bit dubious, but I figured for a vehicle I only put 500 miles a year on if it was 1/2 as stout as the factory trans that made it to 199,200 I'd get another 200 years out of it. I've had it out a few times since then, and I must say the shifting is so smooth that I originally thought they hadn't replaced 3rd gear, but it turns out that it had just been struggling to get into 3rd for the entirety of the time I'd owned it. Awesome shop - would use them again in a heartbeat.Service: Transmission

Personally they guy has no clue hiw to speak to customers. No communication whatsoever. Took 4 weeks instead if the 2 h3 asked for. The only communication can3 after several attempts to reach them during business hoursThat being said, he did a great job rebuilding my transmission, 100% fixed no come back, no problems. Shifts smooth worked wonderfully the moment he gave us the keys back. If your looking fir a reasonable price and not in the biggest hurry, he really does a good job. I run a mobile repair service have grown uo in shops, hqvnt ever had a "good transmission shop" experience EVER in all my years until this! Besides communication, id HIGHLY recommend widco for the quality of the repairs i received.

Had a transmission done it took them two months to do rolled it for three days now it won t go into park. Went to the office in Griffith Mr. Elliott was leaving at 4:30 PM and refused to look at the linkage so that I can make it out of my car safely.

Always call Harold when I need a total rebuilt..... so far he has done for transmission for me perfectly! I was going to Sun transmission for over 20 years until they close................

Very happy with service. Took vehicle to another place to have them look at it and they told me it would cost $3000 went and had a vehicle towed to wade Co and ended up costing $500 these guys are very reasonable in price and know what they re doing I would not go anywhere else

One of the best transmission shops around , there price are lower then the other shops and they stand behind there work ! Even after my warranty expired they gave me a good deal when they didn t need to !

Told Herald to rebuild my trans on my Ford windstar he only repaired the torque converter because that's all it needed. Thanks for saving me $ 800.00.

This company is great put a rebuilt trans in my 1999 suburban 10years ago at 102,000 miles now 275,000 miles and still going strong
