I was referred to Goverts by Arthill to get my Lincoln Corsair fixed. They got me in very quickly for an estimate and were so easy to work with! I dropped my car off and they stated it would take about 3 weeks, which was a spot on estimate! I couldn t be happier with how my vehicle turned out and would highly recommend Goverts to anyone looking to have a car repaired!

Took my vehicle there for a battery change in January had no issues with my hood staying open. Got into an accident on 2/8 and vehicle was taken to Govert s to be repaired and have engine checked due to front end damage. They supposedly thoroughly checked the engine but missed that the hood doesn t stay open and that the dipstick was broke off. Not to mention several engine parts were replaced due to the anccident. After, a week of picking my vehicle up from there, I went for an oil change when they found the additional issues. When I showed them the estimate of damages, they stated in order for them to get to that area they had to be in the front and regardless they should have caught it. When I reached out to Jaime in the shop and sent pictures, she told my insurance claims department that they weren t in that area?!! How did you make repairs to the vehicle if you didn t raise the hood and you didn t check the front area of the engine for damages throughly if you didn t find that! This shop has truly gone down hill in customer service and the ability to do quality repairs. DO NOT GO THERE FOR ANY REPAIRS!

Govert's has done out of this world great work for me in the past. I even know the phone number by heart. This current experience with my son's car has not been what I was used to or expected. The person answering the phone is dismissive and the shop manager is to busy to care. It is a shame that without Wayne and Judy there it is run to be such a disappointment.

I would never take my car here again. They had my car from sep5th to 28th. After being in an accident. They did a great job on the body but when I picked my car up it was making a noise towed it back to them oct 1. They told me it was the drive shift then said it wasn t. Then they said it was the transmission. I then had to take it to the mechanic shop which found the issue within a hour. Which was the transfer case. I wouldn t recommend them at allService: Body & Trim

Had my bumper replaced and painted due to damage. Govert replaced my bumper with a new one and it rusted out in a few years. My truck is a 2011 and not a spot of rust anywhere except on the bumper that they replaced and painted. I contacted them and they will only cover workmanship on the paint not the part that they replaced. I do not recommend using this business as they do not stand behind their products. Either they used a cheap inferior part or used an old one. Very bad business.Service: Body & Trim

Ive brought several vehicles here. I was very pleased with the quality of work and the turn around time. They ordered the parts first, then scheduled a time to bring in the vehicle after the parts arrived. Got my truck back in 4 days!

I have dealt with Govert over the years, and so did my mother. I have found them to be nothing but fair and have done excellent work. I personally would not take my car anywhere else. Over the years we have been taking our vehicles to Govert Auto Body for repair services. We have found them to be Friendly, Professional and Reliable. Moreover, we truely feel that we can Trust them in their expertise and workmanship. We highly recommend this establishment to all, who may be searching for an Honest place to have their vehicle repaired. They are always amazing. I have never had any issues except when. They reinstalled my door button upside down lol. Otherwise great work. Very friendly up front and transparent. You can view the progress daily on their website.

They done seen me through three career changes, two major relationships and soon to be graduation! Point is I've been going here for a long time. Very sweet and understanding, they could have taken advantage of someone so unknowledgable like me but they chose to tell me they didnt want to take apart my car and charge me unnecessary things and would have offered me less on the charge if I took it somewhere else to figure out what was wrong! Great people, I would for sure reccomend. :)

Friendly and helpful staff. Love the lifetime warranty they issue for their work; shows that they stand behind it. Not the cheapest in town, but you'll get what you pay for when you leave your vehicle with Govert. They are a Progressive preferred body shop as well, so not only does Govert issue their own lifetime warranty on the work, but any work done through a Progressive claim is lifetime guaranteed as well.

Worst service ever, never fixed the problems they caused. DON'T TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE! Got rear ended and took my car here because they were recommended by my insurance, State Farm. I also had them do some out of pocket work on the front of my car, repainting some rock chips in the lower splitter around the bottom of the bumper. The first time I went to pick the car up when they said it was done, the paint on the back bumper had big black blotches in it, it looked like someone wrote on it with magic marker, but it was in the paint. Another week later they said it was done again, this time there were huge gaps between the bumper and the trim piece that goes around it and huge amounts of clear coat built up around the back window from the quarter panel. Two more days later and they said it was done again. The gaps were no better, and they then told me those gaps were normal, which is a lie. So they told me to take the car while they order a new bumper and trim piece. While driving the car I noticed that the paint on the quarter panel that they had repaired had grey spots in it. At first I thought it was just dirt from driving through a puddle, but it would not come off, it was under the clear coat. When they called me to tell me my bumper and trim parts were in, I took the car back to them and showed them the paint problem. They said, "Yeah, that happens some times when we don't change the filters in the paint booth as often as we should." At this point I was pretty annoyed. Every trip I have to make to them I have to take half a day off work to go over there and deal with them. I was tired of missing work because of their screw ups. I told them I wasn't happy about it, and at this point I want some kind of compensation for my missed time off work. I also pointed out the them that I was using my own vehicle while this car was in the shop, saving them from having to pay for my rental car while they tied up my car in the ship with their multiple botched repair attempts. At this point the person I was dealing with told me, "We aren't giving you any money or compensation, you can take the car someplace else if you aren't happy with our work." I had to take it to another shop, and the cost to repair the damage from their poor workmanship was more than the original cost to fix the car. My insurance had to sue Govert to get the money to repair the car properly.

*** EDIT***I was contacted by Govert and they explained a misunderstanding / miscommunication with the lead time on my vehicle repair. I am still left with an unexpected week or more to coordinate a vehicle in the meantime, but their communication is appreciated.***ORIGINAL***My car was dropped off for body work on 12/21 and I was told they could have it done by Christmas Eve. Being a holiday week, I knew that was wishful thinking and figured I would get a call Monday, 12/28. After not hearing any updates, I called this morning 12/30 for a status update. I was told there were other issues that needed repaired and they had to send it to a dealer for repairs which meant we are on their timeline and I probably wouldn't get it back until sometime next week....ALMOST 3 WEEKS LATER.Services: Electrical, Body & Trim

best body shop in NWI. Brought in my 2016 mazda3 hatchback with some front bumper damage from someone backing into my car. Amazing service,even went out of their way to get me a rental car. My car looked better than brand new when it wall pulled out. They even went ahead and cleaned my interior for me as well. Highly recommend!!!!!!!! 10/10

***UPDATE***I went to the shop to discuss my vehicle and it's repairs in person. After a lengthy conversation full of every emotion possible, they finally agreed to talk to the insurance company about the parts that were used. It was pretty obvious that they knew everything didn't match like it was supposed to. I understand that the insurance company gave them a budget and they did what they could. However, the car was not correct. It's a shame that you have to leave bad reviews just to get some attention.My car is still there. They are fixing all of the things I didn't like. I will update again, if and when there is a happy ending.Please, if you value your vehicle, stay away from this body shop. The work they do is garbage. They will put used parts on your vehicle. They have no idea how to match paint. They lie directly to you. "Oh, yes ma'am, we only use new, genuine OEM parts". NO...they don't. They put a used red bumper on my 10 month old blue car. Which would have been all fine and good, if they...A - painted it the correct shade of blueOR...B - didn't leave a rim of red around the entire thing.If your vehicle's paint color has 3 variants, one would think they would find the correct mixture before painting. NOT GOVERT! I'm pretty sure they used the "eene meene miney mo" method.Jamie, the office manager, lacks customer service skills. And that's putting it nicely. You can not even get a sentence out with out her cutting you off to tell you you're wrong. No matter what you say to them, they deny it all. Their own employee , Dave, agreed that the color was incorrect. Dave assured me that they would repaint the bumper, as well as fix the other problems with their work. The paint was chipping, the inside of the car was covered in dust, the roof had a new scratch, the emblems on the car were glued on crooked.It was an all around a poor job.Jamie took it upon herself to stop the work from happening.Apparently customer satisfaction means nothing.I guess they just have to make sure that's Jamie's low standards of craftsmanship are met.I was unaware that standards fell that low. Almost nonexistent if you ask me.ABSOLUTELY ZERO INTEGRITY.It's a shame that you can't trust a company to have pride in their work. Jamie seems to think that just because she says the color "looks fine", I'm supposed to agree. Sorry, not gonna happen here. I spent my hard earned money on my vehicle. I expect to be satisfied with the work done to it. I am not concerned if Jamie likes it, her opinion does not matter to me. You shouldn't have to hire a lawyer just to get a company to do what is right. GET SOME DIGNITY GOVERT!When a customer calls to speak about their vehicle, they shouldn't be yelled at. It's unprofessional and rude.You'll get nowhere trying to talk to them. Don't waste your breath.Do yourself a favor and hire a lawyer.I hope Govert and team enjoy dealing with court proceedings, the BBB, the Attorney General and Consumer affairs.I'll fight til the end.What's right is right!And you...GOVERT...are wrong.

Great work repairing my car. They even tried to see if they could reattach part before ordering a replacement to save me money first. Not many body shops would do that, very honest company.

Honest, reasonably priced for area shops, great customer service! I use both their service department for all repairs and oil changes(every fifth one is free for regular customers for sure you'd have to call and verify for oil change customers only) and auto body work.

Horrible service only want your money, no help whatsoever!!! They determine the issue with your vehicle then once repaired so to speak!!!! You inform them of the same issue and you find it s not fixed you take it back and tell you they can t fix it!????? What the heck, why waste your time for a diagnostic test guess they don t know what they are doing apparently. I would not recommend them sorry !!!!

If I could give a lower rating I would. A company that is so full of themselves. My vehicles will go to Kepners Is Benton Harbor, Michigan before anything will ever go here.
