It s easy to leave a good review for a company when your son works there, but business is business. I bought an old used truck that seemed to be in good shape. It needed some extra service work. Ray Skillman service department went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect and it gave me a lot of confidence to buy the truck. Great job Clayton Moore, Internet sales manager, for making that happen. I would buy another car or truck from Ray Skillman. Good people good products.

I've had my 2021 Hyundai Tucson for almost a month now all thanks to this facility and the help of a very kind and helpful employee, Marcus. He took the time to allow me to find which vehicle I was truly interested in (up until arrival I only knew I wanted a Hyundai, not much more than that!) and when I found the vehicle I truly wanted, he made sure I left with it and a monthly car payment that didn't scare me. The facility was clean and the other staff members who assisted me were very friendly. The lobby had a comfortable seating area and courtesy refreshments. I truly enjoyed my experience here.

The service department is one of the worst I have been to. My Hyundai was having issues shifting into first and second gear. After receiving diagnostics testing from another trusted mechanic, he stated due to the nature of the problem I had to take it to a Hyundai dealer. The service department charged me $150 for a diagnostics evaluation even though we had already accomplished that elsewhere. All they had to do was call to get those results. Then they wanted us to pay $7,000.00 for that repair UPFRONT. In addition, we received no Goodwill repair even though Hyundai transmission issues have been all over the news. We apparently had no recall either because once a recall is over, it s over and there s nothing we can do . Our warranty had also expired and the service department refused to allow us to make payments for a brand new transmission they claim needed to happen. My car has 55,000 miles on it. Why does it need a transmission? When I went to pick up my car, after the diagnostic test, they lost it. Couldn t be found. Then they claim they did not have it up front because I did not call. I absolutely called but couldn t remember who I spoke with. Lady was rude and pretty much stated I did not call ahead for my car which i absolutely did. I had to wait more than 40 minutes for them to locate my car on the lot because they couldn t find it.Worst dealership, (Greenwood) worst customer service and the absolute worst people. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves. I liked my car too.

Received excellent service from all staff with NO pressure at any time. Matt Brown did an excellent job helping me find a car which met my desires and made all the arrangements to have Ziebart treatments added. Matt did an excellent job keeping me appraised of the cars progress.

The service here is absolutely the worst. My husband took my car in at 8:30 today for some mechanical/technical issues my 21 sonata has been having recently. He showed them exactly what wasn t working to which the service team stated they d look into it. Over 8 hours go by and they told us to pick it up and they stated we couldn t replicate the issues and said they wouldn t fix anything. When my husband showed them AGAIN exactly what wasn t working they began to say it was user error. My seat back not moving and my driver voice assistance not working aren t user error but mechanical/technical issues. They then tried to gaslight him into believing my car doesn t have voice commands (which another Hyundai dealer confirmed, not that it was needed. I used the feature many times). They then sent out a sales person to try to look at the car (what his qualifications were I don t know) but as expected he knew nothing. They wasted my husbands entire day to do absolutely nothing. The woman who helped us (Jennifer) was rude and condescending, she had no desire to address the very clear issues with my vehicle. And wanted to push us out the door as quickly as possible. 0/10 do not take your vehicle here.

Tyler helped us find a wonderful car. He did his best to work within our budget. John worked with our finances to help us get the best deal. Mary helped with insurance and got us a fantastic deal. Tyler set up our phones in the car and explained all the options on the car. He was wonderful to work with and I highly recommend him. We were treated like family and that made it special.

Went in on Monday January 8th after seeing one of their used cars listed. Went on a test drive very quickly with Matthew who was very kind and pleasant the entire experience I had. No haggling or annoying dealer questions, but was asked a few times if I was interested in financing after stating my price range and interest in the listed car; this was expected though as he was simply doing his job and trying to find the best options for me. Bought the car after taking a second test drive the same day. So far no issues does have high mileage but I knew that going in. Car was so clean it seemed brand new. Matthew even was able to lower the price a bit for me. Everyone made the process of buying my first car extremely easy. Also just a very clean dealer. Would go here again in the future. Matthew even went above and beyond by helping me connect my phone to the Bluetooth. Great guy, give him a raise.

I purchased a Genesis GV70 from this dealership and encountered issues with the vehicle and the service provided. The car was delivered with a defect: the rear windshield edge was installed in the wrong color. When I reached out to both the sales and service departments, they initially promised to contact Genesis for a replacement part. However, I never received any follow-up communication.Upon contacting them again, I was informed that they do not sell Genesis vehicles and, therefore, could not order the necessary parts or offer a solution. This response was not only unhelpful but also contradictory to my purchase experience.They have nice cars, cars' mechanic aspects are awesome. But they need to train their after-sale services better. The managers are nice with great attitude, but their representative for service should have more courtesy.

Matt Behnke was the first salesman I ran into on a recent rainy Saturday night. I saw him running around the lot in the rain and I thought to myself this guy is a real go getter ! I asked him if I could test drive a Santa Fe and from there on out I knew I had a hard working guy dedicated to helping me find my new ride. He wasn t your typical pushy car salesman and instead was very patient, took the time to listen and was very up front and honest answering all of my questions. Matt literally spent hours helping me find the right vehicle and I never felt pressured. At the end of the day, I found a vehicle I was happy with at a fair price which was my goal from the very beginning. It had been nine years since I was in the business of buying a car and I feel really lucky to have ran into him. Thank you Matt for making the car buying process a pleasant and rewarding experience and for educating me along the way and for taking the time to let me test drive several vehicles before making my final decision. I would definitely recommend Matt Behnke at Ray Skillman Hyundai if you are looking for a new or used car.

We did it again! This is our 4th vehicle purchased from Ray Skillman Southside Hyundai and working with Quinton Tibbott. Each time we've received a great deal! The vehicles have always been just what we needed and we are never pressured to buy. Quinton makes you feel like family when you come in and is very respectful of what your wanting to purchase. The whole team there has been wonderful to work with and we will go there again should the need arise.

I TAKE THIS BACK, DO NOT PURCHASE FROM RAY SKILLMAN.Editing review: This morning I went to the service department for an appointment I made a couple of weeks ago. The first woman (short blondish hair) was shockingly rude when I was brought in to the department to check in. I was honestly taken aback.... I'm well aware the service department was backed up. I saw the five cars in front of mine. How is that my problem when I made the appointment weeks ago? Her attitude needs a major adjustment. The younger gal was definitely more chill than her coworker and took care of me right away. I appreciate her kindness and I sympathize with her for having to work with an unpleasant coworker. I'm not understanding how an appointment I made weeks ago is a major inconvenience? How about you not offer those appointment times on your website if it's too much? And I don't understand how an oil change takes more than 6 hours when I made an appointment? There was no need for her to tell me the department was backed up. If I didn't have a trip planned this weekend, I would've canceled my appointment and gone elsewhere. No need to be bitter at 9:15 in the morning with a paying loyal customer.Editing once again! After my unpleasant experience at my last oil change that took over SIX HOURS to complete, now have ANOTHER MAJOR OIL LEAK in my driveway!!!!! 2 MAJOR OIL LEAKS FROM A 2020 VEHICLE?! DO NOT PURCHASE FROM RAY SKILLMAN!!!!! Yes, we are hiring a lawyer!

Derek Young is a freakin game changer!!! Super easy to work with. He s so kind and not pressure sales-y! I went in knowing what I wanted and he didn t try to make me change my mind. He was honest and transparent. Everyone I talked to there was super nice and happy I was there with them. I had a wonderful experience from start to finish and I m looking forward to seeing them often for my service on my 2021 Tucson!

EDIT: A Hyundai dealership I have never even bought a car from is going to go through the warranty extensions processes to get my car paint fixed hopefully EVEN THOUGH I NOW MAY BE OUT OF THE DATE RANGE. No thanks to these salesman snakes at Greenwood. Still haven't heard a word. Only texts asking if I wanna trade in my car now!I will never buy a car from them again. I have been trying to get them to fix my essentially brand new 2017 Hyundai Elantra forever.Paint was coming off in spots before purchase, but they fixed it before purchase making it seem like no issue.Now I have received two warranty extensions for the car for paint and for the passenger door that also doesn't work open from the outside 90% of the time.My car is down to the primer paint in spots. Pretty sure that may even be close to rusting.I have to wait months to get in every time and now I am pretty sure I am outside the warranty extensions or close. It was the first new car I ever purchased and now it looks like I drive a beat up car and it's from 2017!They sure do have enough time to try to sell me a new car with all the mail they send me. Yeah, I will trade in my car that you scammed me on for a new one sure! Better only owe the same amount still.Go here if you want to get robbed for $18,000 and drive around feeling embarrassed about how your vehicle looks.I will update this post with photos. Paint is coming off on the roof of the car. And around the edges of the windshield and rear window too.Maybe this will get you people to show some sort of effort to make things right because I bet the second I am outside of that warranty it will be a bunch of too bad so sad. No wonder it's harder to get in to get things checked on your car than it is to see a damn doctor.

I went in wanting a 2022 Kona or Tucson but unfortunately they weren t available. But Johnny made sure I left with what I wanted and did just that. Also Christian was a good help with getting me the best deal on my insurance. Grateful for my limited edition Tucson Night. Thanks Ray Skillman!

I have bought 3 vehicles from Skillman. Never again. We just bought a 2021 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid in mid-August. Very happy with the Sales person and finance (we paid cash). Day 1 the driver side A/C was blowing hot. Took it in. Six weeks later the car is still in the shop. And I'm without a car. We backed out of deal, still waiting on agreed upon full refund. Are you kidding me?

Bought a 2023 Hyundai Tucson from this location in October 2022 and did not get the $279 clear protectors that were on my contract. Salesman told me I would get a check in the mail for it. Have yet to receive. Took my vehicle in for service this past weekend for an oil change and the tech did not reset my oil change indicator. I attempted twice with the steps provided in the manual and the person in service I spoke with advised that I did follow the correct process. The alert will not go away. Had to leave a voicemail for a callback to be scheduled in to come back to have the service light issue resolved. It s a 35 minute drive just to get there and I am still waiting on money owed to me from October. Not a good experience up to this point and I just got my first oil change

Zach was great to work with and the only thing that kept me from giving five stars was the financing portion: I thought the coverage being added for the warranty included all items but found there to be two different charges listed once I looked at the fine print later on. Love the Tucson we purchased but wish the dollar amounts would have been reviewed more thoroughly.
