I love this mom-and-pop shop, my wife and I have been coming here for the past few years. They charge standard rates for all their services, and they just always seem to be straight shooters in my book. They also love my dog, he's welcome to come and wait with me anytime. I don't care, I'd pay extra for that alone.

We love this place! They do great work on our cadillac and especially our old 1981 Mercedes diesel. Prices are very reasonable and the staff are super friendly. These are the guys that can fix a problem when no one else can.

I own a 1986 pontiac fiero. I absolutely love these cars but sometimes they are real pieces of junk and hard to work on lol. Dave did a great job doing a laundry list of work on my fiero for a great price. I will be back for more work soon

I use to take mine vehicles to a guy in downtown Greenwood until he sold his business. I tried APEX once and since then I have starting bring both my trucks in for work. They are quick and the communication is great

A year ago or so these guys took a day to fix a problem that two other shops failed to diagnose over the course of a month or so. They have some serious car knowledge. I ve taken that car in a few times since and the level of communication and customer service from Pam deserves a sixth star . Great customer experience; love this business.

Not the same experience I had with Apex last year! In fact, it s the worst mechanic experience I ve ever had. This is the kind of place that gives the whole industry a bad name. He used my family emergency as a cover to try to steal my car without follow up or contact. Thank God I had a good lawyer. People taking advantage of others is the worst. I fear for anyone without the resources to protect themselves. You may have had a good experience with Apex before, like me, but those days are over.

This place is amazing. I worked with Pam and she fought for my warranty and got it approved. I would recommend this place to anyone. They are upfront and keep you in the loop. Thank you Apex for getting my warranty approved.

Pat and Dave are excellent mechanics that know what there doing and have gone over and beyond what you would expect them to do for you. Best auto repair shop in Indy. I take both my Hummer and my F150 for everything including my warranty work. Highly recommend Pam in the office, PAT and Dave and all the guys that work there. Never had a problem they couldn't fix and very reasonable in price. My son takes all 5 of his vehicles there, very trustworthy. They had my car in and out in 3 hours. They fixed my ac. It's working great now! They also fixed my tire pressure monitor sensor message that's been on my dash since I bought my car. One other place tried to reset it before and they couldn't figure it out but Apex did :)

The best customer service I have ever experienced at an auto shop or dealership. I brought my 2010 Ford Fusion in for a second opinion about my brakes. From start to finish Pam and Dave were honest, kind, not condescending, and made me feel like family. I won't ever plan on going anywhere else for auto repairs, and I plan on calling them first the second I hear something off with my vehicle. These guys are GREAT. PAM, PAT, DAVE, and go out of their way to take care of your need. No matter what you need done, they have always repaired and on the road quickly, professionally, and they guarantee all their work. I take both my f150 and hummer their and my son takes all 4 of his vehicles there also. Even warranty work. Would not go anywhere else. I took my car here through Maxcare. Pam was wonderful and very helpful through the whole process. She made several phone calls with Nissan and my warranty company to make sure I was covered. She went above and beyond compared to any other repair shop I have been to. They replaced my transmission in a reasonable amount of time. Apex helped us out tremendously. We traveled from out of state and upon arrival, the heater core burst in our vehicle and began spewing coolant into the cabin. It was late and I contacted Apex the next morning. Pam was very friendly and efficient on the phone. I took the vehicle to their shop which was a few miles away, and Pat gave me a ride back to the hotel. They called a couple of hours later and gave me some options for repairing the vehicle. The repair was a complex job, but was completed the next day.I am very appreciative that I was able to find someone on short notice that would treat us fairly and offer such professional service. I would not hesitate to use their services again and would wholeheartedly recommend them. Friendly, honest folks and exceptional service!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I brought my car in today as it had to be jump started, we figured it was the battery as it was 8 years old. They confirmed it and changed it fast. We went to eat while waiting on the work to be completed, and when we returned it was done and I was informed that it took less time than they thought so they'd knocked $100 off the price of labor. They could have charged me the same and I would have never known. They are fair, honest, fast, and do great work. I'm moving out of state in a couple months, but I'll be returning to get all of the additional work that I need done before I go.Service: Battery

Working down the street at Smokey Bones, I have always heard great things about this place from guests or employees who have visited Apex before. Gave it a try for the first time and my husband and I still cannot get over how amazing the customer service is here. Pam is literally the nicest lady I have ever talked to. She was not only very thorough when explaining issues with my car to me, but she didn't make me feel stupid when I asked what are probably some pretty stupid questions. Spoke to a mechanic (I believe) one day while she was on break and the gentleman I spoke to was just as nice. Will 100% be returning for all future vehicle maintenance.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

I have a Mercedes and I took it to be repaired at apex vehicle maintenance and the minute I walked in they were always extra friendly Dave did a wonderful job and made my car run like new again and always keep me in the loop and inform me exactly what was being done and what was the best way to do it I appreciate that Mr. Dave I highly recommend them I know I will be there customer for life very good work guys ty Sam ziko

The short version: Took my car in for a noise and ended up getting my timing chains replaced for 50 bucks under my CarMax warranty. They even paid for my rental after the warranty rental capped out. They did a tremendous job and I wouldn't hesitate to bring my car back in an instant or recommend them (especially their master tech Dave!) to anyone. Good shops are hard to find, I should know, I've worked in plenty. They've earned their 5 stars.The long version:On a trip through town my wheels started picking up vibration and making noise that got worse the further we went. I inspected everything but couldn't find any issues but we went home to be safe. I had the car towed in so I wouldn't make anything worse and on top of the wheel problems I also mentioned a noise I had been experiencing on startups. My car would almost always clatter on the first start of the day for a few seconds. I assumed it was just carbon on the valves or dry valves but I figured I'd have them poke around just to be sure.A couple days later (it went in on a Friday) I get a call. The wheel noise was from inverted lug nuts. My wheels have one lug nut per wheel that can be installed backwards which I had apparently done when changing my brakes the week before. They also advised me that the noise was almost certainly from my timing chains. Apparently the hydraulic tensioners have too much slack until oil pressure build and the chains stop rattling. They told me that if that was the issue the warranty would cover it, but they also needed to make it clear that if it WASNT the issue or the warranty stonewalled I would be forced to pay for the labor, a $1700 job. I understood this and after being assured by multiple people including Dave, one of their master techs, I agreed. About a week later I got the call I had been waiting for. The warranty had agreed to cover everything and they were in the process of putting my car back together. A couple days later I was told my car was done but they had run into an issue. The car was throwing error codes and the timing was most likely off. They would need to need it back down and make sure everything was right. I'm annoyed, but I get it. This is a delicate job and even one thing being slightly off throw the whole thing off. I get another call a couple days later, they have fixed the timing but they want to keep it again to be sure. Fine.They call the next day. Bad news. The noise isn't gone. Dave is pretty sure if he orders a new set of tensioners he can get it right but he'll have to order them. My car is back together and there is no risk of damage so they offer to return my car to me that day while they wait for parts. They also offer to pay for my rental when I bring the car back since they will need it for a couple of days and the warranty will not authorize any more. They deliver my car to a job site I'm visiting as I wouldn't have been able to make it in time. My car goes back the next week and they have a rental waiting for me to take. A few days later another call. The car is done and they let it sit for a few hours with no noise. They'd like a cold start and I agree. The next morning they have good news, she's silent. I go pick up my car and I pay them 50 dollars for a job that would have cost me almost 2 grand if it has happened 10,000 miles later. My warranty pays for itself almost twice over and I walk away an ultimately satisfied customer despite the inescapable Murphys Law of body shops and auto mechanics.10/10 would recommend.

Super service, my employee from the truck made a garbage dump lived in it like without a housekeeper, it was impossible to get into the car after him. I called the guys and asked for help washing the salon after it and keep the truck until I can pick it up. The guys washed the car super, the truck stood with them for two weeks, the guys didn't say a word, they only called once to say that everything was ready, as soon as you can pick it up. Thank you very much for such a service!!!

Superb service every time! Apex is our go-to shop for all of our automotive needs. Their expertise, integrity, and commitment to excellence are why we love taking our cars and trucks to them. I can depend upon them for accurate, courteous service at a fair price.Apex can do it all. They have performed both complex repairs as well as general maintenance for our vehicles for years and years, but today I picked up my van after Apex performed body work from a recent fender-bender. Again, I was impressed with their attention to detail. The job looks great, and they once more exceeded all my expectations!Their highly trained and experienced staff of mechanics goes beyond reliable. This past fall, for example, they diagnosed and solved our air conditioning problem and performed the manufacturer's scheduled maintenance. We drove our Florida vacation with confidence.Additionally, I appreciate how they stay up-to-date on model specific repairs and manufacturer updates. They have saved me big money by knowing the real problem with my vehicle, when the symptoms seemed to have pointed to a different repair. Getting it right the first time has been a big savings! I have always appreciated how they take the time to clearly communicate (or show) me the repair my vehicle has needed.Because Apex has been consistently trustworthy with our repairs, I am confident that you will also have a great experience. They will know how to fix your car, and the price will be fair.

Pat, the owner of Apex, has been my mechanic for more than 20 years. For the last 17 years, I have driven over 60 miles one way to have my vehicles serviced and repaired at Apex. I have been a customer for many years and I keep returning because I can always trust this company to do what repairs are needed and nothing more. I have always been satisfied and happy with the work I have had done. The folks at Apex are amazing. When I move to a new city the fear of finding a new mechanic who is professional prompt and won't rip you off is real. When I took my Subaru in with some awfully burned up breaks I was bracing for a huge bill and days without my car, but they got me in quickly and finished the job the same day without breaking my bank! Pam was an absolute delight to talk to, she kept me informed every step of the way. The service I received from pat ( I think that was his name, I regretfully did not write it down.) Was fast, professional and more than fair on pricing. I'm a customer for life!

Had a rattle coming from the front end of our old Honda Pilot. Turned out to be a loose heat shield. After diagnosing, Dave called to offer two options for repair before starting any work - short term option ($) vs. long term option ($$$). I appreciated the communication and took the short term option given the age of the vehicle. They had it fixed same day and the rattle is gone. I've been taking all my cars to Apex for years and they have always provided outstanding, timely service.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I was purchasing a used car from Tom O'Brien. On a short notice, same day, right before Apex close time, Patrick was able to accommodate me and inspect the car. The car was pretty clean, but Patrick identified a a loose tie rod and helped to shave a couple hundred bucks off the price. Moreover, he did not charge anything for the inspection. Great service and the man of his word. I would bring any of my cars here for service without hesitation!
