I was referred here & saw just 1 or 2 persons working there, which didn't look good they did my brakes last yr Feb or mar & I mean rotors & pads all the way around, 2 find out I need the same thing on the front end right now. It doesn't add up, they changed my oil & 4got 2 put my cap back on, I just don't like what they did 2 me & my baby. I'm never going back, the workers look like crackheads & he over charges, I found that out when I needed axles he said a lil over $500.00 only 2 find out with comparison it's a lil over$300.00 thk you 4 time, & money waisted, but you gets no more

I forgot to leave a review but a year ago I had came in because my starter was going bad. I could fix it myself but that month of work had been extremely busy. So I decided to let someone else do it. I went to Robert s auto and he was talking for 30 mins plus before I stepped outside and decided to pull off. I went to another shop 20 mins away and he calls me when I m 3 mins away from the other shop before even noticing I left. I went to the other shop who got my information took me right in and I came and picked it up on my lunch break. It was $50 more but the customer service was a lot better

Completely unprofessional. Tried to make me pay for parts and things I didn t need. Also, don t let a woman be there. They will smooth talk them out of so much money and don t even do their job. I had to come there after my wife. They just hire people they don t hire actual mechanics technicians. The fact that I came there and out mechanic their mechanics with no experience. Do better.

Had my car for months and never answers the phone. Broke something trying to do a quick fix opposed to replacing the part like I gotten a quote for. Seems like he don t have the necessary tools in shop to do simple things. Always has an excuse, even will throw his own crew under the bus. Just terrible. He may be knowledgeable about cars but he suck.

You really have to appreciate a place that's open on a Saturday afternoon. We were in a bad situation with our vehicle while passing through town, and Robert was very good to us. I only wish I lived closer so that I could have him as a regular mechanic.I appreciated his honesty very much.

Robert's Auto Repair shop is the best maintenance shop in all of NW-Indiana. Their professionalism, knowledge, and maintenance skill is second to none. I would highly recommended their shop to handle any of your automotive repair needs. They have taken care of my car without a doubt, I wouldn't have came this far without them.

I found myself at Robert's Auto Tech a few months ago after having some engine trouble with my Camry while driving -- I first took it to a Toyota dealership that happened to be nearby who told me the problem was due to low oil and sent me on my way with a refill. Unfortunately the problem persisted as I drove and luckily Robert's was still open (it was evening by then). I left my car with them and I was informed the next day that I had a bad spark plug. They got it fixed right up and I was on my way with a smooth running car with no issues since. Very satisfied.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

I've been going to Robert personally for 11 years and he has always been able to pinpoint the problem to my vehicle. He also always mentions other issues that should be addressed but does not press the issue. He is very informative and helpful. He is always upfront and straight forward and you can always expect the truth from him.

Payed for my caliper to be put on it was never put on ladies don't go here they do take advantage an then try to make u feel like u wrong

Super cool and friendly people helped me right away had a great price for the job way under what I was quoted from other places. Great hrs of business cause not everyone gets out of work early enough for most places. Will most definitely be going back satisfied

Skilled Service. PRICE CHECK services with other REPUTABLE Shops. Ive used this mechanic a few times. He always shows me what the issue is & explains to me the cause & repair. Ive had : Oil Change, Tune Up, Brakes, Welding, Diagnostic done. I buy used cars & theyre good runners thanks to this guy. I have used 1 other Mechanic who beat his prices and wait time considerably.

Robert is a dedicated mechanic. He is the best in Northwest Indiana. Definitely the last of a dying breed of high quality mechanics that take pride in their work. I will not take my vehicles anywhere else.

Mr. Moore did a great job on my car and will work until it is done...this is my 2nd time bringing it to him. He would be the one I will continue coming to. He has one other mechanic that is friendly and good too.

My mom took her car here to get fixed it was only the timing belt she paid $800, days went past and she never received a call to see if they started workin on the car or was it fixed she called them and the owner Robert told my mom that she need a new motor for her car, any mechanic knows to check everything like he was told and it seems to me he just wants more money, we saw other customers who said they had to continue bringing they car back here so in the future my mom will take her next car to where she know. Waste of time and money down the drain
