Came in because car was shaking and thought I needed an alignment. I was told that an alignment would not fix my issue and that they d take a look at my car and come back and tell me what my issue was. They later told me that I needed tires. By this time, they had already done the alignment and charged me $85. They did not come talk to me before doing the work as they said they would - work that they already told me would not fix my issue. Shady business. Predatory. Honest auto mechanics are hard to find; I should have gone to Miller Brakes and Muffler.

This place, well, the people that work there...top notch. I recommend them. Fair, fast and exceptional customer service. I was visiting Miller Beach and heard a strange knocking sound under my car. I went in on a Saturday and a very helpful gentleman looked under my car and told me it was a loose muffler. They don't do repairs on Saturday but told me to come in Monday morning. I did. Had the muffler mounted, and was told by the mechanic that he also replaced some 'questionable' screws. And then expecting to drop at least $100, due to about 40 minutes of having the car in the garage, and considering labor costs, I was told it would be $54. Can't beat that. Thanks to all of you at Republic.

Took a car there for a front end alignment. Said it was 84.00 . Since we didn't get the alignment they charged us 80.00 to look at it.very rude people. . I would not recommend going there . Complete rip offs .

My mom used to come here long time ago my bro was very sick and thry had a great dane and a lab they gave my bro a puppy to make him feel better and now I always come here, and they are always respectful and honest as they have been for decades.

Now days good business is hard to find RFA takes it a step further and offers great business... Had a blow out on the highway with my six Year old next day I went to RFA to get a couple tires and a wheel alignment but found out my lower control arms and ball joints were destroyed Tom gave me a quote of an amount that i definitely didn't intend on spending at the time but the quote definitely was fair and responsible for the work I needed done... As I mentioned I'm a single father of a six year old and we are new to the area and didn't have transportation to get back home after my car was dropped off at RFA and this is where RFA went from good business to great business cause Tom offered to have us dropped off at home and then picked back up when my cars repairs were completed which was above and beyond customer service and greatly appreciated needles to say the work was completed fast and my car rides a lot smoother I didn't get the names of the front desk staff but one is a young lady who sits on the left the other is a young guy who sits on the right who is fond of Indian Motorcycles both of them were excellent and kept me laughing my six year old even got to meet the company mascot which is a huge Great Dane who chills out in the back office with another young lady who is all familiar with the area school systems "late start Wednesday" Over all 5 stars across the board and I will be back for any of my automotive repairs

I am thoroughly satisfied with Republic! If you are looking for a mechanic you can trust, look no further. Tom and his crew have really taken care of our vehicles. You will walk away feeling like you got straight information, and did not get taken advantage of. Jennifer and the front desk staff are lively and will have you cracking up as well. The staff here and management tells you one thing and does another. Very unsatisfied with the service received. I now have to replace a tire because of poor towing, in which they told me they would replace for ruining it.

Ford 150 pick up needed new radiator. Up front prices. Which are good. Quality work. Timely. They do more then radiators. They will be my first call in the future.

Great service and friendly staff if you need a tow or work done on your car this is the place to come. Nothing to big or to small they do it all

Was enjoying a nice family day at the beach with my 7 kids and wife. Upon return to my parking I noticed my Mercedes sprinter van had been towed. After telling my kids we had to walk 45 miles back home, they all started balling. I approached a lad with a pink cutoff shirt (let it be known he looks like he hits the gym once an eon) not sure why he was wearing a cutoff. These con artists had towed my car ILLEGALLY!! There was 0 signs that stated I could not park in said loacation. Office reeks of cognac and cigarettes as well. Shame on you republic axle

Stash Construction has used Republic several times for Fleet vehicle maintenance. Republic is always knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. I got my car towed it went there. It was quick and easy the staff is incredible. They get you laughing and keep you laughing if you there for a good amount of time. It feels very welcoming like a loving home anyway the service is great and inexpensive. Never gotten any work done yet cause i couldn t bring in my own parts but i will be there shortly to get a wheel alignment so I ll let you guys know then

Went in for a much needed wheel alignment, ended up needing tie rods too. They ordered the parts and car was ready next morning. Very happy with how it drives now. Front office is very friendly as well. Would recommend and do business here again.Service: Wheel alignmentService: Wheel alignment

I needed to get a hubcap for my car and it was difficult to find for my older car but they were able to get one for me and the price was more than reasonable. They are a family owned business and anytime I have needed them for repair or a towing need they were available.

I give them 3 because the ladies are awesome in the office.I talked to Gary.And i told him i needed a break line fixed and he tells me okay.I work at Amazon and i had to take off that day due to my breaks.Now i gave them my car at 8.30 am.Then at 4pm when all the other shops close at 5pm. He calls and say he is not touching it. i have cash willing to pay whatever the shop was going to cost .P.s another shop fixed them within 2 hour's 150$ 2 line's.I wouldn't come hear

Tried several times to use this business since they're close to my house. They've done ONE thing for me with a hub bearing. Every time I call I have to expalin everything to receptionist, THEN transferred to Gary to tell it again. They always have to "see it" to tell me if they can do it and how long it'll take. It's a new jeep, all new suspension parts. It needs a sway bar. Good greif, what happened to the days when you can call a shop, they look in a book and give you a quote, schedule and they do the job in one day. This would be a peice of cake for any highschool mechanic with a lift. This place in business a long time needs to see it and I may need to leave it a few days. Don't waste precious time calling, go elsewhere.Service: Steering & suspension replacement

I took my car in to get the brakes fixed. They said it would b ready that day but definitely the next day, it was 2 days. I picked my car up, a few miles down the road my shell started to make a clanking sound and my steering was off. My tire fell off! My lug nuts were must have been hand tightened. Obviously I called Republic Frame and Axle. I told them what happened. They would not take the blame and have my car towed back to their shop. I had my car towed to a reputable dealer. I paid 160 for the tow and 220 for a new rim. This place is a ripoff.

Good, friendly local business. Have now used them several times for a variety of services & repairs on our cars with no issues and this is now my shop of choice in the area! Great value, good people, designated front desk to keep things organized & on-time, and good honest work!

I had a rack and pinion done on my car there and I love the work that they do. The prices are reasonable, facility is nice and clean, the receptionist is extremely organized and the staff is very knowledgeable. I recommend anyone to try them out.

I am appalled by the services performed by this shop, in particular, with the technician Gary. I have never encountered a more disrespectful and incompetent mechanic in my life. Happy to waste time and money on misdiagnoses and when confronted about unaddressed issues he evades and finally resorts to cursing and yelling at paying customers.This kind of unprofessional behavior and the lack of quality repairs will hurt this business as time goes on.There is enough is going on right now without the added stress and completely dishonest work on top of everything, few have the extra money to throw away on useless and time-wasting repairs, only to be toldthat another diagnosis is needed. This shop needs to hire a competent technician, until then its a total scam, buyer beware!

I took my car in about a week and a half ago because it was making a winding noise. On the paperwork front desk lady wrote down reason for visit.. loud winding noise. I was told I would be contacted that day for a evaluation. It was day 3 before I finally received a call back. Guy named Gary said bad news, the noise is the transmission. Oh boy right.. have to do what I have to do though. He said he can get one installed for $1,200. Go ahead and do it I said. I didn't question what I thought was his expertise. It'll take about a week which I completely understood. He calls me when fixed and said all set. I return to pick up my car just to find out my car is making the same exact loud winding noise. I picked up after closing so wasn't able to talk to anyone. What's worse is it was shifting gears really hard which it did not before at all. It feels like it's going to break down everytime I drive it. I called back next day and talked to Gary. I told him nothing has been resolved and car is worse. He said he wasn't told about a noise prior to work even though I spoke to him directly about it. Now he said it was drive shaft. I said I paid $1,200 to not have my issue resolved and my car is driving worse. He give me the run around for several days and said there is nothing he can do about it! I asked if I could speak to the owner and he said he would an then get back to me. He never did even after calling him several times. Finally today I called once again. Again he said there was nothing he can do! I am positive he never even spoke to owner. After a brief heated discussion he said and I quote, "I don't give a F*** and F*** you! Not only will I never go back but I have already posted my experience to a community website. I will continue to go on every review site I know and leave a review of what exactly happened. Please take my advice. Their reviews are pretty good overall but have recently gone downhill in a big way. I hope mine makes them hurt even more.

We are working in Indiana and from another state. We needed to get a front end alignment on our truck. Called up this company, and we would highly recommend them, very nice office staff and they did a great job!Thanks guys!!

I hit a pothole and thought I had done a lot of damage to my car. They told me I only had a bent rim and needed an alignment. Work was done within an hour and the staff is kind, funny and honest. I have always had a good experience with Republic. Thanks Dan I'll be back but hopefully not too soon .

We needed a tire put on a rim.They had us sit in the nice cool air conditioned office while they took care of the taking the tire off the truck putting a new tire on the rim then they put it back on the truck really nice people they did a great job nice and fast everyone was so polite and willing to help us out great prices would most definitely go back to them again keep up the awesome work
