Tony is very knowledgeable about all types of vehicles. He was honest and fair with his estimate and he didn't mind sending me elsewhere if he couldn't do something himself. I appreciated his professionalism and would recommend Miller Brakes and Mufflers Inc. to all my friends. I had no problem getting my car in right away. 5 stars

Would give 5 stars because they do good trustworthy work and are honest. Problem is you cant get in any more. They always seem to have some issues going on and they re unable to service your vehicle like half the time. Basic stuff you MIGHT can get in, but anything more then tires or brakes & It s call back next week and maybe .. but maybe never comes.

Tony and the guys here are kind, honest, reasonable, helpful and super cool. A trustworthy car care place like this is RARE. My dad came here and I send my son here, too. Gratitude!!!

Fixed on my buick regal. And got the job done! Definitely will recommend they did have it longer than expected, but the problem was resolved. Not to expensive for the work.

I was referred to Tony by Don at Atlas Transmission. Tony figured out the issue in no time, ordered the needed part and had me fixed up in just a couple days. Then he even called me just 2 days later after getting my 98 Olds Bravada back to check and see how it was running. Tony for sure is one of a kind!! He restored my faith in customer service!! He is a wonderful person to do business with. I will return to him should I have any other automotive issues. Thank you Tony!!!

Tony is educated in person ability, customer service and all aspects needed for auto repair. I've taken several vehicles and has never been disappointed. He helps you get back on the road without draining your pocket. It's hard to find a reliable mechanic that treats you like family. Miller Brake and Muffler as earned my business in entirely. I highly recommend this under recognize business to everyone. Thanks Tony for your constant reliable mechanic service.

For the past 12 years, my husband and I have taken taken our vehicles here for repairs. I feel like valued customer in which the manager, Tony, listens to my concerns. I've never been overcharged or felt out of place. I highly recommend this place for any vehicle service.

Walked in for the first time ever at 8 a.m. I said was concerned about loud noises from exhaust. Was shown the work needed to be done, told the cost, and was out in an hour. Great customer service and close to my home.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! My family was passing through on the interstate when our alternator went out. Tony and his team were caring, efficient, and fair! They knew we were in a jam and gave us an excellent price and expedited service! Clean waiting area. Honest and straight forward.

Needed someone to re paint a very small scratch on my car and they said they could and it would cost 300$ because the paint is expensive. I found out later I was able to get the paint for less then 50$. So if anyone is going in for something similiar double check online how much it actually costService: PaintingService: Painting

Love this place! Excellent service, friendly employees and fast service. Never had an issue with any employee or owner trying to sell me unnecessary services. In fact, years ago, took my car to a different place for a quote on service. The repair place gave me an outlandish price and said "you need to fix it immediately."The following day, I took my car to Miller Brake & Muffler and gave them the other mechanic's quote. Miller Brake & Muffler thoroughly inspected my car, and discovered a minor problem; however, NOT what the initial car repair quoted me. Actually, the initial "problems" did NOT exist.Miller Brake & Muffler repaired the minor problem for a low price. The other 'alleged" problems were not repaired.Drove the car for an additional six years, WITHOUT repairing the quoted problems, before my husband purchased another car for me. He gave my old car to a family friend, who, to this day, continues driving the car, WITHOUT any problems..

I am so glad I decided to take my car to Miller Brake and Muffler! Excellent customer service and quality car service! Woman normally are told anything when it comes to care repair and care but not here! They took great care of my vehicle and me!

Bad service lies to get the job told me it wouldn't be a problem to get the parts and that he would need 1 day next thing you know its not easy to find the part and that it wont be done till memorial weekend was over that tuesday. tuesday come still no car then he tries to tell me it wouldve been cheaper to do it another way after he got the car but all in all poor manager skills and i will never return trust me. i will rather have my car break down than to go back to him.

Called about a muffler. Stopped in same day and was out the door in less than an hour. Gentlemen gave me a general price and when I went to pay it was less than quoted. Definitely recommend Miller!

I've bee a customer for 10 years. Tony and his staff are the best. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my vehicles. Love these guys!

I don't know why people would give this place a good rating. Every time I call they will not just give me a quote of a job. Their prices are always higher than everyone else in area. Don't trust a mechanic that won't give u a straight price.

When I first arrived they were very helpful they repaired my car in timely fashion also they cleaned and waxed my car it looked like a brand new car when I picked it up and drove like it. I am quick to recommend this shop to anyone who needs the car repair or a paint job.

Great place to have work done with a friendly staff and reasonable prices. They have mechanic shop as well as a full body shop. I have had work done there mechanical as well as bodywork and I am very satisfied with the results.

as of 11/2019 don t take your vehicle to miller brakes and mufflers inc on melton road, in gary indiana its either their mechanics don t know what they re doing or the shop in a loss for money; your vehicle will come out with more problems that it came in to for repair
