Terrific place to get your car serviced! They do far more than just tires, brakes and mufflers! We took our car in for an oil change and Mike the assistant manager there was extremely friendly and helpful, advising us on the proper oil we need for our car. The visit was quick and easy, with comfortable chairs and complimentary coffee in the waiting area. Be sure to check their website for the latest coupons and special promotions too. Will definitely bring our car back again!

Kevin was great! I phoned in a panic and he scheduled me an appointment immediately. He thoroughly explained the issue in terms I understood. He didn t over sell me services and patiently answered all of my questions. The employees here are kind, professional and do great work at a fair value. Thanks, Kevin!

Kevin is the most down to earth person I ve talked to in an automotive setting. He was so helpful and frankly a pleasure to talk to. He is professional and was receptive and open to all of my questions.He and Michael keep the store running smoothly while also providing a genuinely enjoyable experience for the customer.Cannot say enough positive things about this location. Kevin, thank you so much. You made my day with your kindness and warmth.These are good folks.

Kevin is amazing!!! As a woman I m really leery of going to auto shops without a man present. Kevin is very help and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to ensure I understood the type of tires I needed and was super friendly!

So I made an appointment yesterday for today and the appointment was supposed to be at 4:30, I explained to the guy on the phone that I didn t get off until then but I can be there by 4:45. I get to the shop today and look at my confirmation and the appointment was set for 4:00. I was so ashamed to be coming in as late as I did but they still took me. Michael was so amazing as far as customer service. I really appreciate him and the crew for taking me and not making me reschedule. I couldn t go one more day without my brakes being done. Thank yo the whole crew for such wonderful service.

This is my first Google review, lol I d like to give a BIG shout out to Michael, who assisted me with placing my breaks pads this week. He advised, I should have my rotors done the same time, I get my new break pads - due to the fact it s not good to have new break pads against old rotors. I respected the fact that he was upfront with the situation. All my questions and concerns were answer by him. Along with his team member Kevin (who is GREAT). I d like to thank them for their transparency! Especially for TRULY looking out for their clients. Not only that, the willingness to go above and beyond with the level of looking out for you - on things needed in advance. I d highly suggest requesting Michael! Thank you, Midas for looking out for y all clients!!!

The shop closed at 6pm tonight but Kevin, Mike, and Lee stayed till 9pm to make sure my car was fixed since me and my wife only have one car. Thank you guys so much for caring about us! You gained a forever customer.

Went to Midas on Grant Street in Gary and the Employees were very informative, knowledgeable and friendly.Waiting area very clean and they had some awesome coffee.I would definitely go back there and would recommend them.

Went in to get the brakes checked because they were grinding, Mike and Kevin helped inform us that it was the rotors, and that it's better to just have them replaced as it simplifies the repairing process, and had gotten it fixed within an hour. The service was friendly and expedient, and my car is in working order

Today I brought in my car, they did an amazing job with not also the car but me it was really cold out when I came in big man Mike got me a heater. Who do you know brings a heat just so you could be comfortable?

Highly recommend this Midas. My car broke down on a cross-country road trip. Lee was able to diagnose and fix the problem efficiently, and Kevin took great care of us while we waited. Really appreciate their help!

I had an 3 o'clock appointment to have an oil change and brakes done on my vehicle. When I went out to start my truck up, it wouldn't start. I called Midas and Mike asked the phone. I explained to him the issue I was having with my vehicle and he placed me on hold to ask his manager if he could use his own vehicle to come give me a jump. His manager agreed and allowed him to come and assist me. We wasn't successful with getting my truck started because of battery issues but we was able to provide shelter for two small kittens living on the side of my garage ... Mike was very helpful and patient and kind. When my truck is up and running, I'm definitely taking it right to Mike

Service was absolutely perfect! Everyone was so kind! They only did the work that had too be done. They didn't ripe me off! They did a Thorough inspection of my vehicle. Showed me what the issue was and they didn't try and sell me stuff I didn't need. They are all so very nice and respectful! I recommend this Particular location, You will get the best customer service.Treated very well and your car. We'll get fixed the correct way.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance

We are so grateful for the amazing work that Michael, Kevin and the team at MIDAS did for us. Their dedication and professionalism is something that should be admired. Extremely professional and honest staff. Oftentimes you hear how mechanics embellish to upcharge but as a female, I can say I appreciate their honesty. Will definitely be back to the Gary location of Midas l off Grant St.

Went in for power steering leak. They told me I needed new hoses and rotors and breaks all around. I just got rotors and breaks a month earlier. Got the hoses and leaks still there. Went back and they said it's the power steering pump. Damn shame. My truck is leaking worse then when I took it in. Will never go back

Phenomenal service from the beginning to end. Steve and Joe were top notch and extremely knowledgeable. Completely honest with me throughout the whole process and didn't try to upsell me stuff I didn't need done and both were truly professional. I will not take my vehicle anywhere else, I am team Midas. Joe did the work on the vehicle and definitely is trustworthy.
