Dale and his crew have worked on my company vehicles since the day I discovered them, years ago. He has always been upfront and honest about cost and expectations. He has never steered me wrong. Dale has always given it to me straight, and I appreciate that. I, as a business owner, know how Google reviews can be spammed and that s a shame. Dale has always stood by his work and his mechanics work. If a part failure happens, he makes it right. His warranty is outstanding. Having his business in our community has been a fantastic addition that I and my employees are very grateful for.

I have never had better experience with a mechanic. I brought my truck into Dirty Dales Diesel at a complete loss. Had taken it to several different shops and spent thousands of dollars, with no real answers. Dale got right to it and within days had a solution. I ve had it back for over 6 months now and it runs like a dream. I now trust him with not only my truck but also my wife and daughter in laws. So professional and honest, oh and the front office girl is always so nice and helpful. Do yourself a favor and give them a call, you won t regret it!

Dale is a scam. Stay away! I wouldn't trust this idiot to fix a bicycle. Charges you for motorcraft parts but they're all from AutoZone and doorman parts. Truck fell apart on me on a cross country trip and head gaskets he was supposed to fix blew again. Heads were wrong charged me for motorcraft head gaskets and they're not. Currently contacting my lawyer to sue him. $10,000 and now I'm paying another $4,600 to have a guy do it right. Btw I'm a retired military mechanic and he knew that and still ripped me off.

They came HIGHLY recommended from multiple other auto shops. Very knowledgeable with everything especially diesels. I owned a service business of 30 years and this company is what everyone is looking for. Good communications, great knowledge, do what they say, fairly priced and honest. I knew they had opportunity to cut a corner and deceive me but they didn't and this happens far more than you might think. I never write reviews but this is the type of comp[any your looking for.

First time using them, 2008 f250. The lady in the front is very nice, polite, the guys there are GREAT, dale and his crew are amazing and take great care with our big dirty trucks we had what I thought to be a big issue, and some smaller stuff. They got us fixed and it was no where near the price I had anticipated ( in the good way) will definitely be back. Thank you all again!!!!!

Every aspect of my experience was positive and professional. I was in Indy from out of town and had a major issue with my truck. I called a competitor of Dirty Dales first and they were buried with work so they recommended Dale. I called, explained my situation and was greeted professionally and told to bring the truck in and they would work it in even though they were busy. In 1/2 a day the truck was fixed, I was back on the road, and really felt like I had been apart of a situation where 2 business people understand how to run their business and maintain professionalism even though it may not benefit them. So Outlaw diesel and Dirty Dales thank you gentlemen for your commitment to superior professionalism, customer care, and top notch work and diagnosis in your field. It is greatly appreciated and I will be a supporter of both of you.

Dodge dealership had told me my 2018 Dodge Ram 2500 Had a blown head gasket, and wanted to charge 6k for repairs. I was recommended to Dirty Dales and took my truck to them to repair the blown head gasket. Dale Jr gave me a quote on the repair and I agreed to let them make repairs (mind you much less than dealership quoted). Dale Jr called me and told me my truck did not have a blown head gasket and to come get my truck. I was charged $ 117.00. Truck is fine and no issues after pulling a 12k pound trailer thru the Rocky Mountains to California. You guys are awesome and very honest. Dirty Dales Diesel has won my business.

Dirty Dale s exceeded our expectations. While driving home from Alabama to Illinois with our three yellow labs, our 6.0L Ford Excursion Diesel died while we were going 70mph on I65. We coasted off to an exit and managed to get into a truck stop where we spent the night. Managed to get it started again but it barely ran and was spewing exhaust. I searched google and Facebook for local diesel shops and landed on Dale s place. I sent a frantic message at 1am as they were closed and to my surprise I had a reply before 6am! Dale himself was on the phone with my husband before the start of their business hours asking what was going on with the truck. We asked for a tow recommendation and got there right as they opened. The shop wasted no time and Dale s guess was correct - we had a bad injector that they diagnosed and replaced quickly, including replacing the seals on the other injectors to prevent another failure. The price was more than fair and everyone was so friendly. Even our old dog was comfortable and happy in the lobby while we waited. We got back on the road fast and give this shop the highest recommendation, thank you so much Dale and crew! We will never forget you!

Rescued my truck from a very bad, 4 month experience at another local diesel shop. They took my truck in immediately and had it diagnosed and repaired in the same day. They are amazing people and beyond reasonable in price. Their reputation is known far and wide as a first class mechanic! I can't recommended this shop highly enough! Deserves 10 stars!

These guys are fantastic. My work truck was down 5 months with a couple different mechanics looking at it and no luck. These guys figured out the issue and had it going in less than a day. Thank you guys very much. You really are the best.

This shop is awesome. Took my truck here after taking to another shop that claimed they fixed the problem but after 4800$ later and 2 months of having my truck never fixed and never changed parts. I took it to Dirty Dales and they had it fixed in 4 days back on the road and fixed right. Highly recommend dirty dales. Good honest people great work

Dale was extremely helpful when we came to their shop in a pinch while driving cross country. Understandably the issue could not be diagnosed on the fly but they were super accommodating and didn't even charge us for the time they looked at it. I did buy some hats for me and the boys back home though.Thanks again!

Engine light came on and everywhere I called was booked for a couple weeks, including Dales. Did a little begging, lol and he told me he would at least hook it up for me to tell me what was going on. I appreciate him doing that. Turns out it was a quick fix type thing and Dale himself pulled it in and fixed it for me. Excellent service and very very knowledgeable. Highly recommend..! Thanks again!!

Dirty Dales Diesel has always provided great service at affordable prices with a fast turn around. They repair gas and diesel engines as well as transmissions. In my experience this is an honest hardworking family owned and operated business and they treat you like family. I make the drive to Shelbyville from Greenfield and it's worth the drive every time. If you're not being treated like family by your current mechanic then it's time to come home to Dirty Dales Diesel.

I was stranded on the highway with my truck spewing diesel from the injector hose and found Dirty dales diesel and could not have asked for better help. Dale helped me out and fabricated a part for my truck and chartered me a great price! If I was from the area I would go back there every time I needed anything. You ghouls check out his shop if you are in need of some help. Thanks again Dale!

I was recommended by a friend who simple said he's pretty good, when my truck went down.Off it went they called price to make the repair was extremely reasonable. I was very happy with the work. What impressed me the most was he said wed like to keep it another day so it can sit over night and truck is dead cold, so we can double check for leaks. Knowing diesels I totally understand what he meant. Fast forward a couple years later when I though holy s** the motor let loose it's toast.... Bucking black smoking no power Christmas light all on the dash=money died rolling 80 on the highway..... Flat bed off to dale. We spoke on the phone I explained what had happened and he was very optimistic it was something super simple. HeHe Rattl off a few things it might be. Long story he called the next day says your good to go. It was a bad computer module for the injectors. He went over everything they checked and man just like before I mean the guy knows his stuff. I've recommended him to many all have been very happy with the work. No bs and prices are more than fair. They only used oem parts.If your rig needs work go here!!! I live 2 hours from this guy and I don't care what the tow bill is which it ain't cheap, I know than when it leaves it 100% right.

Dirty Dale's Diesel got my 1995 F350 7.3 Powerstroke back to like when it was new. This thing has so much power now that I thought they put a bigger turbo on it to play a trick on me. Wow, finding a stuck coolant valve was all that it was. Best $215 that I have ever spent. I would highly recommend Dirty Dale's Diesel repair to all of my friends.

I have been to superior diesel and i got ripped off big time so as my friend too over and over until I discovered Dirty Dale s repair shop.Highly recommended shop and the guys there very knowledgeable and they know exactly what they doing and the price is RIGHT ALL THE TIME.

I have to say very pleased with the Dirty Dales team they are very knowledgeable, they let you know whats going on as soon as they know this is the only place I feel comfortable leaving my vehicle to get worked on even if it just needs a slight adjustment they tell you to bring it by and they jump right on it just an amazing team will be bringing my vehicles here from now on.

Great affordable services. I have 2 diesels these guys work on. If something goes wrong with their repairs they stand behind it however that dont happen often. I know have 4 total trucks they service
