Paul s garage has been my go-to for car work for the past few years. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Pricing is fantastic. Not only will you get the fairest prices here, but also top quality work. They ve helped me with transmission, alternator, brakes, engine, oil, and more and I have gotten consistently excellent service every time!Services: Transmission, Oil change

Highly recommend. Thanks to them for taking care of my wife's car and treating us well. Also thanks for helping out a friend of mine.Update: Truck runs like it is new. They are very accommodating and great to work with. Work came in less than the estimate. The friend mentioned before is also a happy repeat customer. I really appreciate the lack of BS and not finding stupid ways to charge for stuff if not needed.

Unreliable. I really wanted to support this local business as they do fine work. But I won t use them ever again. They scheduled me for an appointment yesterday to fix my car after it was towed there. Tried calling to get an update - no answer. I went over hoping to find it done, but instead it was sitting in their lot unlocked, no one there. Apparently they never even opened that day. Finally, they get to it today and call me at 2 to tell me it s done and that they close at 4. I showed up to get it at 3:40 and they re gone.I get stuff happens but at least give me the courtesy of a phone call to let me know. Really frustrating. I ll try another local shop before biting the bullet and ending up at Belle Tire or some other chain.

My check engine light came on heading home to Chicago. They were so busy but took the time to help me out in my time of need. Everyone was so nice and so helpful! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a trustworthy mechanic in the area. Thank you so much!

I do most of my own car work but I have been stumped a few times. Those times I took my problem to these guys and they got me set up. Both instances I've used Paul's they accommodated me in ways other shops wouldn't have saving me money. Had I not been so stubborn and took my last issue to them sooner I would have saved even more.

This was my first time taking my car to Paul's Garage in Fortville, Indiana.I just needed a muffler. So a few days ago, while I was in Greenfield shopping, I decided to go into a muffler store there and get a quote. Their quote was around $550!I couldn't believe it. I already checked how much a muffler would cost at NAPA in town and did not think that it would cost over $400 for labor. So I decided to check Paul's garage and Ron quoted $155.I had no idea that we had a muffler shop right here in the town I live in. I knew there was a car repair shop there, I just didn't know they did mufflers. (Even though it says so, in big letters right on the front of building, Ha!)So I made an appointment for today, 10-22-20, where not only did he do the work, which I'm very satisfied with, but I was charged only $133.10!I highly recommend Paul's garage! Ron says that they will do just about any repair work that you might need for a car, so be sure to go in and get a quote from Him. Like me, you may be much more than satisfied with their work.

They do great work at a really reasonable cost. I got quoted somewhere else for $1500 for a project, but they told me I didn't need all of those things, so it only ended up being $90. They are my go-to place for all things car related.

I took my Jeep to Paul's Garage because of the good reviews. I am so happy I did! They knew exactly what was wrong by just my description of the problem. Brilliant diagnosis and reasonable cost.I highly recommend them and they have a permanent customer.

Normally fix my vehicles myself but recently had an extensive and challenging mechanical failure and I did not have the time or knowledge to do the repair. I brought the vehicle to Paul s and they fixed it in a timely fashion and called to provide me with updates throughout the whole process. Ron is a good mechanic and thankfully, my vehicle now runs like new once again. Alhamdulillah

Paul's Garage was able to get my car in, diagnose, and repair in less than 3 hours. My knowledge of engines and auto systems is very low. They earned my trust by not charging me for anything I didn't need. I walked away owing less than $100. Any future repairs will start at Paul's.

Took my car here to get stabilizer bushings and valve cover gaskets done. When I picked it up, I was told they broke a clip for the wiring harness that plugs into the coil pack. Less than 48 hours later, I have a terrible misfire in 2 of the cylinders. The clip they replaced doesn t even fit and won t fully plug in. So I start looking under my car more, and the stabilizer bushings that I paid to have replaced did not get replaced. They never even touched them.To say the least, I WILL NEVER take a vehicle to them again. And I will be spreading the word that they 100% screwed me over. Now I m stuck with no way to and from work and no car AGAIN. Thanks Paul s Garage. :)

Called about something completely unrelated to their business and was still able and willing to help me. I thank them and am very happy to see people like them are out there !

Ron is very accommodating. He has fixed every problem with our vehicles except one. Instead of charging me to try anyway, he was very honest and recommended not spending the money to try. We take all our vehicles here.

I started taking my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee to Paul's Garage in 2013. I started small, oil change, rotors and pads, and progressively got bigger. The pinnacle was the exhaust manifold leak. The exhaust manifold was done and botched once already by a shop while I lived in Chicago. Their screw up ended up with me paying for new heads on my 4.7L V8. To make things worse that shop put on the old manifold that was the source of the problem. So here I was, looking at an exhaust manifold repair that could lead to another head replacement. I talked to Ronnie, he was confident in their ability to repair the manifold without incident.I brought in my Jeep and THEY DELIVERED.The manifold was fixed and I have put on about 30,000 miles since the repair. Silence is golden.Since then I have brought it in for a fuel pump, lift kit, ball joints, steering rack (which failed, not their fault, and they replaced for free), and countless other things. On my last trip I had them replace rotors and pads with drilled and slotted rotors with ceramic pads. They painted my calipers red - which was awesome.Ronnie, Robbie and "the other guy," have been great. They have a lifetime customer and I hope more people discover them.

Had them put on air shocks, brake lines, and a catback exhaust system. Well when I leave the shop half way down pike and coolant is flyining out they left the radiator cap off. And 2 months later my shocks aren't holding air . Do to that my exhaust is now scrapping the ground. I got under there to see they left the air line on the exhaust. It melted the line. Next they did not bleed brakes after putting the new brake lines on. .this is on a 83 elcamino pretty simple layout. I'm assuming these guys aren't schooled or they just don't care. The guy named Ron is very rude. Makes you feel like they don't really want your business. On my 355 sbc it had a rear main seal leak. Claimed they fixed it. Open the bell housing found a bunch of shoppe towels in there.so beware.they will not admit that they messed up. Said that i purposely tore it down.why would i mess up my own car? they used a piece of tire to hang the exhaust. Probably will take them to small claims court.

I've had all our family cars serviced by Paul for more than a decade - including the car our girls shared while at college.Paul is great. He always looks for the most cost efficient way to get things put in order, but more than that - he always asks if the girl's car is doing okay - and does an inspection each fall before they head off for classes. One year my daughter was driving friends on spring break, and Paul insisted on inspecting and servicing the car before they left.Countless times he's taken what the dealer said would cost $500 - and done it for much less. For example, we had a window "fall" in one of our cars, and the Volkswagen dealer said it would be $300 to repair. Paul disassembled the door, recognizes that a small plastic part was the problem, fished around in the door frame to find it - reinstalled it - and we were good as new. I insisted on paying him an hour of shop time despite his objections.
