Update: seem to have lost employees or be under staffed. Hope they work it outWhat I said about them 4 years ago:Ruckman's does good work. I had them put a new engine in an older Subaru, and it turned out great. They work on my BMW as well. My wife and son also bring their cars there to get any work done. They always treat us fair, and get things done right. I've never had to bring a car back for the same issue.

Have saved hundreds probably even thousand by having Jerome s service over the years. Very friendly, helpful people - front desk and others. They don't try to get you to buy a bunch of things. They told me I needed to get ready to buy new tires - no rush, but sooner than later, and they'd be happy to put a quote together when I'm ready. My oil change was about $30. I waited around 30 minutes - there was a table to sit at or a few couches and chairs. I was the only customer there, most people seem to drop off their cars. I've got family who've been customers for many years and I'll be back myself for those new tires...

We have been going to Jerome at Rickman's for about 3 or 4 years now for our routine oil changes for 2 vehicles as well as some other services. We love that you are able to schedule appointments for your service. The price is unbeatable, and we are always confident that we are getting good work done. Their office is clean and customer service outstanding.

My son plays baseball at PFW. He was leaving to go out of state for baseball and his car stopped running. He had to leave it. I am two hours away. His coach suggested Ruckman's. I called and they helped me coordinate everything from the tow to the repair in a day. They squeezed it in so that when my son returns he will have a vehicle. The fee charged was reasonable and the people who answered the phone were a pleasure to speak with several times. They called me when they said they would and explained the issue clearly. Family business type feel with spectacular customer service for someone who is not a regular customer. This is how the world is supposed to work. Thank you.

Jerome and his team at Ruckman's are the best I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I normally don't write reviews but can't say enough about this business. I will never use another shop. They are hands down the best. HONEST, FAIR, and very good at what they do.

Multiple issues:Paid double the price I was quoted.Brought vehicle in to get door fixed. What they did to fix it, made it worse. Brought it back in and they didn't give me any discount, even though they failed to fix the door the first time. The door worked for one day and is again broken.Updated my account information on 3 separate occasions and they still didn't put the vehicle on the correct account.Horrible customer service. DO NOT bring your vehicle here.

Again, Ruckmans Service Center does not disappoint. I highly recommend, as they were recommended to me. Honest, timely, absolutely fair prices & youre in & out with no time wasted. They know it s a busy world & they get us all back on the road with a car in tip top shape. Thank you Ruckmans for taking such good care of all customers. (And no, I m not related to them. Jerome was awesome. We had a tapping noise coming from the top of our engine. He not only didn't want us to drive our car until he found out what the noise was, he offered to drive us home so we would leave our car there out of concern for our car. We brought the car back the next day and he worked it in on his busy schedule, took the valve cover off and made sure it was nothing serious internally, changed the oil, and still refused to let us pay him. Now that's a fair and honest repair company at it's finest. These are the places you just can't find anymore. Thanks again Jerome and we'll keep you posted on the tapping if it goes away with the additive you also put in. Thanks again.

This is the greatest car repair shop I have ever frequented - my uncle who I love dearly owned a car repair shop for a decade before becoming an instructor at the local university and I STILL would prefer Ruckmans. The staff are beyond courteous and accommodating. They never do anything to your vehicle without talking to you first and I promise that on my second visit here they already knew my name, my husbands name, and what the gender of our first born (5 years later) would be... they are just amazing. I can't possibly say enough nice things about them. Oh! And everything they do is extremely reasonable.

Jerome and the whole team at Ruckman s are the best! They re the kindest people and their service is amazing! It s the only place I ll take my car to! They do an fantastic job diagnosing and fixing the problem and are always so intentional about explaining the issue and maintenance! I highly recommend!!

Stopped in off the street because my battery warning light was on. No problem - owner welcomed me in and said he would help me. He diagnosed problem and had me on my way in an hour. While I was waiting, I watched him treat every customer with great care and respect. I highly recommend this shop!

This is the auto repair business you can trust 100%. They went above and beyond to come to my house to fix a flat tire. They recommend appropriate service and maintenance. My wife and I have been taking our cars to Ruckman's for years now. I use to do all the work on our cars, but age and technology have had me on the bench for some time. I only add this because it makes me a bit more particular about the work being done our our vehicles. I 100% stand behind the work the fine folks at Ruckman's do, and would recommend without hesitation anybody take their vehicle to them.

My experience here was a bit of a mixed bag.* Took 3 business days to say "you need a fuel pump" - They said multiple times they were shorthanded, though I don't see what good an appointment is if there's no one there to work on your vehicle. For that matter, why bother even being open if you 'can't' do any work?* They had my vehicle a total of 2 weeks, which I will grant included Christmas, New Year, and they're not open Saturdays or Sundays, but that still leaves 8 business days to diagnose and install a fuel pump. 8!* Kept missing Jerome because he apparently leaves for the day at 3pm (or at least doesn't return messages left at that time), and I work nights so I was never awake when he called in the mornings. And he kept saying just "Hey it's Jermome over at Ruckmans. Gimme a call about your vehicle" (as opposed to actually saying what he needed or giving whatever information he needed to give - a pet peeve of mine), which led to a game of phone tag over and over again.* Plus, they apparently just installed a phone system which meant that if I called after hours, there simply was no general voice mailbox, and I didn't know anyone's last name, so I couldn't leave anyone a message.* I sent them an email, which no one even bothered replying to* When I went to pick up the vehicle, they had just left the keys sitting in it, unlocked, which I thought was kinda reckless and irresponsible with my property.But with that said, I'm not sure if it was on purpose or not, but the labor was only $163 vs the $370 I was expecting, though with tax and other fees like the $20 shop supplies charge that got tacked on, it ended up being about $125 cheaper than what was estimated.And even though Jerome seemed to be dragging his feet the whole way, and even though the first guy who looked at the vehicle gave me what yet another guy there told me was a completely false diagnosis, AND despite the fact that one of the ladies I spoke to actually got defensive when I pointed out that they'd had my vehicle for 2 weeks, I will say that the second mechanic I spoke to (Ryan?) and the second of the two ladies who answered the phone were very friendly.So if you're expecting a timely repair, this probably isn't the place for you. I mean, who can go without their vehicle for 2 weeks, right?I don't know if I just caught everybody else there at a bad time or what, but I eventually just gave up after they installed the fuel pump, and took my vehicle somewhere else that said they could get my work done on the same day that I brought it in. Go figure, right?---Update: I've been called 3 times now in response to this review, asking me to take it down and wanting to talk about it. Time is the most precious resource we have, and I don't want to give any more of mine to this place, nor do I want to get into an argument about it. But it's worth mentioning.Also, it's worth mentioning that the fuel pump they wanted to sell me was $100 more expensive than the exact same name brand part I could get in a parts store. So the markup they were charging was 35%, and that number didn't come down until I mentioned that I'd be shopping around. Hmm.Then, I was offered a transfer case with 60 or 70k miles on it for $1,350, and it turns out, I can (and did) get a completely rebuilt one for $800 on eBay! Which amounts to roughly a 59% markup, and that's not even taking into account that one is used and one has been completely rebuilt.And it even came with a 3-year warranty ta boot!So if you go here, I'd at least recommend bringing your own parts ahead of time, if at all feasible.

Phil and Jerome are very trustworty. They will not take advantage of you. The service techs are outstanding. They can fix and advise anything automotive all the way up to trucks and school bussesIf you are looking for a repair shop Ruckman's is where you want to be.
