First time here used the lift bay took about 2 hours to do my own work! The guys working were nice and didn t rush us! I like that this is in Fort Wayne always thought a place like this was a good idea! They set up the loft for you to lift your vehicle will be back for future work! Worked on my 2020 dodge charger scatpack

Brain is always great to deal with. An honest and fairly priced locally owned shop, they stay busy as a result of it. Also they have lift bays you can rent if you want to DIY. Whenever I have something that s out of knowledge, I bring it here to get it done.

I took my truck to another shop they couldn't perform what I needed done so I called Brian at DIY he told me to bring it in and probably be a week or two and he had it done in 3 days excellent service and overall experience I would say that they get everything done that the customer needs done in a timely fashion and a very good price

My first visit today Brian the office manager does an outstanding job explaining what is going on with your vehicle. The service technicians are wonderful. I was referred by my daughter and I absolutely loved the service work I received and I will be back when I need something else. Thank you!Service: Auto brake replacementService: Auto brake replacement

Pricing and communication was great! Problem was I only have one vehicle, I asked how long it would take to fix. They told me 1-2 hours ok no problem I can sit around and wait for it to be done. That wasn t something they were ok with, told me they would feel rushed to do the job. No it s just I have no other way to leave and come back at the end of the day, when I was told 1-2 hours I don t see the problem waiting. Never had this problem before with other shops, so not sure if hat the deal was.

Took my car here because it died and all they did was test the alternator, said it was fine, and charged me $40. They didn't fix anything.

It was nice to finally be able to put my truck on a lift and do my own maintenance. The guys there were really helpful. You can save 10$ an hr by bringing your own tools, but it still costs 30$hr for the lift. Also bring safety glasses and closed toe shoes.

We had a car battery go bad in the middle of -35 degree weather. The manufacturers of the vehicle decided inside the wheel well was the most logical place to put a battery. The gentleman who helped us not only changed the battery for almost nothing he also put air in the tires of our other car. Thanks Wheatcraft!

I left a message in the evening and they called me back first thing the next morning, I was able to book an appointment easily and I enjoyed using the facility to work on my car. The shop was clean and I thought the rental price for the lift bay was pretty reasonable. I'm happy this service is available and it is perfect for what I need.

The guy running it was super helpful and told my very upset 20 year old daughter who just had her car towed there because her brake caliper suddenly ruptured that everything would be ok, he would work with me to get her car fixed. I drove down from Michigan in the morning. He explained the shop rules, got the car on the lift and I was done by 2:30. I even did a oil change. I was very impressed. Highly recommend!! I wish I had a facility like this near my house to wrench on my cars.

I have come here to fix my car several times. I like to learn and fix things myself and Mr. Wheatcraft is a top notch person. The tools and know how to get you back on the road and you get to learn something along the way. Real straight forward shop.

The guys are nice and knowledgeable. Very fast to get you back on the road. Very reasonable prices. For both diy and to have them do it. They are my new auto repair place.

What a great find! It's perfect for youtube warriors who may not have a particular tool to do a job or who are wanting to try their hand at more complicated stuff. You can treat it just like a traditional repair shop where you leave for a few hours and your car is magically fixed (at a much lower burden rate than typical shops). Or you can do some of the work yourself and save a little money. Or you can do all the work yourself and save a ton of money. If you get hung up on something, they are right there to give you some advice. You're never high and dry. You'll never find yourself running out to buy some expensive tool to do the last 1% of a project. I really can't think of a type of car owner who this place wouldn't make sense for. It's fantastic.

Owner and staff are fantastic and provide free advice; they rent first-rate tools, a spacious environment, and hydraulic lifts which make it possible for those who have a bit of know-how and want to work on their own cars but don't have access to the space at home or the jacks to safely and easily elevate their vehicles. Wish we had discovered this DIY garage earlier. They also have a menu option of car and truck repair.

I love this place! It is an honest shop. The facility and tools are top notch. The owner and mechanic are both friendly, available, and helpful with advice and assistance. The parts store is a definite plus and their pricing is very reasonable.

What we needed, where we needed it, and when we needed it. '99 Accord replaced: rear wheel bearings, exhaust piping, all sway bar links, and the power steering intake hose assembly.I shudder to think how long it would've taken without that (fairly priced) lift...

Let me tell you something, pull your clunker up to the garage sounding like a bunch of bolts and nuts rattling in a can. Wheatcraft Diy will have that baby singing a different tune when she leaves. Thinking about going to Midas or hires forget about it. Trust me all their going to do is put the bolts and screws to you. Brian is the best.Services: Transmission, Exhaust, Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

Hadn't done work from a lift before, kind of stimulating to work on the feet under the car.
