Nice change in staff! I was pleasantly surprised at how well I was treated this time. I had an unfortunate occurrence some time ago, however this time, Ken (owner) made the best decision ever in the placement of staff, Scott and Phil!! I was treated with respect and courtesy and I am grateful for that. I was greeted with a hello and a smile and was sent away with a great big smile and pleasantries! I felt like a part of a family!The waiting room was clean and organized. The restroom was clean and well stocked.Great Job Guys!!SincerelyElaine

Pick a different tuffy or just another shop altogether. I have tried this shop multiple times and always had issues. These guys don't have a clue, as well as well try to spring higher costs on you then told at the beginning. They will also send you coupons with a false price to get you into the store and then tell you it's going to be 3x more

Very friendly, honest, and up-front people here. They worked on my car in a timely manner and called me before they performed any maintenance on things I didn't approve.

Make sure you have them itemize every part before they start working... I was charged $400 for a $125 part.. these guys will overcharge you in a heartbeat. Be careful.

I had a bad experience years ago and was blown away with David's customer service and knowledge. I am not a car savvy person but his guys made me feel comfortable and safe with my Pontiac! Thanks again guys. My family and I WILL BE BACK!

Well 500.00 for break pads ,they said I needed a fluid flush another 80.00 and a slue of other items for a total of 1500.00 . I said wow that's insane since most of that work was done the week before at my local Chevy dealer . So I went back to my dealer and found none of this was true the squeak in my brakes was little piece of metal that got stuck in the brakes. Oh and by the way my dealer only charged me 199.00 for breaks and rotors and 39.00 oil change 79 for trans flush and 55 for alignment

Never take your car here, they over torque everything and you have to use a air gun with close to 1000 ft/lbs to get them off, if they don't break first. They also put a cv axle in that was missing the metal inner piece to protect the differential, they also didn't put in enough diff fluid, when we fixed their mistakes, we used a whole liter of fluid and none drained out when we took the cv axles out. They also didn't bless brakes properly and the caliper piston seized up.

I went to get a brake job. They were honest and told me I didn't need brakes. I appreciate that they did not take advantage of my ignorance.

Tuffy on Coldwater in Fort Wayne, IN came to our rescue this summer. The engine in our car had completely failed, after 103k miles, and Tuffy was, at our request, able to obtain an engine on our behalf and install it flawlessly and expertly. The new engine is running extremely smoothly, and both the communication and overall treatment we received from especially Scott and Nick at Tuffy could not have been better. They told me to be there at 3:30. I got there at 3:30 for a tire change that I paid for days in advance because they needed to order my tire. They made me wait 45 minutes before getting to me. Even tho I called them earlier that day and was told 3:30 and I informed them I was at work and would be coming on my lunch break. So I already paid and told them I was on lunch break I still had to wait and didnt leave until 5. Being that I already paid and was told 3:30 I should have been a priority. Went in for an oil change and tire rotation but while I was waiting their technician took pictures of causes for concern (clogged air filter and cracked serpentine belt) and was able to text me those while I was waiting. I was very impressed with the fact they found the issues, took pictures and then offered a solution the same day when I had simply came in for an oil change. Definitely gives me peace of mind knowing my car was worked on by these pros at Tuffy!

After several complaints on the bad services you had on my car AC and also your company refusal to refund me,i am deeply surprised with the level of dishonesty i have witnessed from the manager of this company. Integrity is vital in running a business and from my experience with you guys,i can say with confidence that your company lacks integrity. You can keep the refund but your conscience will taunt you.

Never again double the quote I got. Oil filter was supposed to be included, add air light was on (didn't check air), rotate tires, and they weren't rotated. Among other things. Didn't check if I needed antifreeze, water to clean windows, etc.

I went in for an oil change and rotate tires which I had bought from them this summer, 3000 miles ago. He said I need a wheel alignment. The test he showed me had all zeros, that nothing registered when they did the test. I told them they did a wheel alignment when they put on the tires and it was perfect. What happened in 3k miles? He went back and said the test was done incorrectly. Doesn't exactly instill faith in their ability to do their jobs if they can't do an alignment test. Then he told me I need to replace the plugs, 400 plus and flush a bunch of fluids to the tune of an additional 800. I looked in my manual and that did not need to be done at that point. That he gave me wrong info.... I will not be going back. I need to trust my mechanic. I was talking to the manager so that says this store is less than trust worthy.

Staff is always friendly and willing to help with any concerns. I took my car here after I was experiencing several problems, another Auto place quoted my repairs at $1200 while Tuffy's repaired my car for more than half of the previous estimate. My car is in great shape because of them!

The team at Tuffy is amazing. They are extremely knowledgeable without condescension. Bill and Nathan were genuinely friendly and accommodating to my barrage of questions. They explained the issues that needed to be addressed in simplified terms and helped me prioritize repairs to suit my budget. My children felt welcomed in the waiting area. Bill commented as I was leaving that I might just fall back in love with my Durango. I laughed it off, but I have to admit that I've never been happier to be stuck in stop-and-go traffic on Coliseum. It felt like a brand new vehicle! As a mother of six, I really appreciate feeling like we are all safe on the road again. That's priceless. Excellent workmanship and customer service guarantee I will be a repeat customer.

I have had several services done with Tuffy Auto Center on Coldwater Rd in Fort Wayne, IN. I have been very happy with the customer service from the employees. They are very good at quoting prices and letting me know what services are coming up to maintain my vehicle. Their prices are very comparable to other service centers in town. They are efficient in getting the work done quickly and getting my vehicle back to me so there's no interruption in my family and work life.

HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!An absolutely great place to get my vehicle taken care of! Nathan was very Courteous to my needs and what needed done. I don t know ANYTHING about cars and I only knew what was currently wrong and the chief complaint but I was unaware of the other things that were going on. Nathan gave me options for my repair and was VERY sensitive to my payment plans. He is an over all good guy and the other mechanics took such great care of my vehicle!!! Too bad Nathan was married though (;

Clear and concise explanation of issues, they finished the work ahead of schedule, all techs have extensive history of working on specialty vehicles so I had 0 trust issues with their technical experience. Their prices were also better than most.Overall a great service, they earned my respect and ALL future tire/suspension related service of my vehicles.

I'll coninue to go because I trust the name, the service and the people who take care of my car. I know they will do the best work and try to get me the best price. They tell me exactly what's wrong, how much and let me make the decisions.Phil was extremely informative, helpful, and understanding to my concerns, both regarding safety and my budget. He provided valuable insight that showed he didn't just care about making an extra buck off me. They never pressured me, and were reasonable in ways that other car shops are not. This was as good of experience as possible for me.

On Friday, we came to Ft. Wayne from Chicago on a business trip. Halfway there, the ac acted up & it was a hot day.Sat. morning I called Scott at Tuff & he was nice enough to get me in. He diagnosed the problem very quickly & then gave me a discount on original diagnostic quote. Car was completed for a very reasonable amountThank you Scott & team for making sure the trip back will be a comfortable one! Anyone living in Ft. The management at this location is excellent. My family and I were in town for the weekend and had repairs done to two of my vehicles at this Tuffy location. One of my issues could have been disastrous, but these guys found the problem and got it taken care of. Everyone is competent and gives great attention to detail. This is definitely a trustworthy shop & the customer service is superb! I highly recommend this Tuffy to anyone looking for quality service and a job done right!

I have had my car serviced at Tuffy on Coldwater road several times now. The guys at Tuffy are always honest and friendly and they will tell you what repairs you "need" to have done right away and what repairs can "wait" a little while to allow me to save up the money. Dr. Phil and his crew do an awesome job!

I have had all my cars and trucks serviced at Tuffy on Coldwater road for many years now. The guys at Tuffy are always honest and friendly and they will tell you what repairs you "need" to have done right away and what repairs can "wait" a little while to allow you to break up the cost over several visits instead of all at once. For those on a budget this greatly helps me when it comes to auto repairs. I highly recommend Tuffy Auto Service center on Coldwater road. Five Stars *****.Thanks!Jim Smith

Never had any work done by these folks, saw that they had good reviews, thought I would give them a try. I had them replace a burned out headlight. They also checked my other lights as well. They sit down with you and explain what needs to be fixed and the cost. They take the time for questions, etc. Very nice staff! Got the job done quickly and done right! Thanks! You will be taking care of my cars from now on!

If you are looking for exhaust work, look no further. These guys are incredible! The staff is extremely friendly and willing to work with you. Price is fair. Craftsmanship is above and beyond. These guys made my car sound the best it has ever sounded and looks mean too. Going here for any other exhaust work I will ever need!

Best service ever in the Fort for car repairs. I met with the owner on Dupont who realized I lived closer to their new location near the mall. He called that location and made me an appointment right away. He was so friendly and helpful. The day of my appointment, both a "Phil" and "Carey" (sp) were kind, friendly and made my experience of needing a shuttle to the mall with my 3 year old toddler an easy experience. I would HIGHLY recommend Tuffy in Ft.Wayne. Additionally, my car was fixed exactly as promised, by 4pm closing on Saturday and a reasonable price. I was not asked for anyone to place a review nor do I have any personal affiliation with Tuffy. I just really appreciate good customer service!!!
