Did a very good job ! My silverado needed a tailpipe he pretty much rebuilt my whole exhaust system since everything was held on by clamps . My truck runs and sounds so much better. His dogs shadow and baby kept me entertained.

Everytime I got my truck back from him there was something new wrong with my it and would not take responsibility for the mistakes and kept charging me

Took my Audi a4 in this week and absolutely terrible quality welds and pricing for one 12 inch - round muffler mid exhaust. Went to my buddys put the car on a lift, he used CLAMPS along with terrible welds charging me a ridiculous price. Exhaust leak already around the clamps as I left the shop. DO NOT waste your time or money here. He called me trying to tell me my car has no catalytic converters and he would replace where they used to be with resonators. I told him not to touch them and to just add one mid muffler. Sketchy experience.Service: Exhaust

I had an appointment scheduled at another exhaust shop for a muffler delete and they stood me up. Called Carl here and he was able to get me in the next day before he even opened on a Saturday. Very down to earth guy. We told him he had a lot of good reviews and he said he doesn t even look at them and hasn t been on a computer in 10 years. That s the type of guy I want working on my truck! Super sweet dogs in the shop as well. I told him we would add to his good reviews! Great service and would come again!Service: Exhaust

Carl is 81 and is still killing every other shop in this city and surrounding ones. I took my car there and he welded me an entire 2.5 stainless steel exhaust from the headers with a muffler and resonator delete and had it done in 3 hours for a crazy honest price.He s a great guy and he does this stuff like nobody else within a ~100 mile radius. Nobody else will ever do exhaust work for me or anyone else I know except him.He doesn t even check these reviews, he doesn t use computers, he s old school. Carl was Amazing! I called on a Saturday morning and he worked me into his schedule to delete the factory muffler and 2 flappers and replace with a magnaflow on my 6.2L High Country. The muffler I provided had an incorrect sized pipe, but Carl made an adapter and welded it up. His work is impeccable! The welds are a work of art...I definitely recommend, no fancy waiting area, but honest pricing and true craftsmanship!Service: Exhaust

Carl is one of the greatest people to work with. I took my Classic 77 Olds Cutlass Supreme into him needing a new exhaust. He put together a very nice system with new mufflers, used the 2 1/2 pipes I had and replaced gaskets where needed. He took a cross member I gave him for the dual exhaust and cleaned it all up and it looks fantastic! The result is one nice sounding Classic ride. Very pleased with the work and the turn around time. I would gave that gentleman who worked on my car 10stars if I could.120% work of professionals, extreme polite, straight to the point with the price of a budget. He treats you like his own family and never tried to upsell his customers. I came all the way from Texas to this town for a visit and it blows my mind about how extremely honest people out here's are. The very best exhaust shop in Fort Wayne. Mr Shaw has a lot of experience and knows his stuff. You want loud he can do that. You want quite. He can do that too. How about power? Yep he s got you covered. This man knows his stuff!! And he is professional and knowledgeable.

My job has no set end time. I start at 6:00 am and get off when the work is done. It could be 2:30, 4:30, 6:30, it's when the work is done. I needed a muffler put on my truck. I went to one place and they said I could bring it in tomorrow at such and such time, would that be ok? I said no I need it now. I saw thunder exhaust online a couple of days before so I went there. Asked the man if I could get a muffler installed today ( 3:00 pm) he said sure. Took him an hour and half, done. Great job, really appreciate the fantastic in and out service. Will recommend to friends and be a return customer. Thanks very much.

Fair, bend over backward helpful, honest. I was really impressed. If you want to set around in air conditioned comfort drinking lattes this isn't the place for you, but if quality of work and honesty is at the top of your auto repair list, try Thunder Muffler first.

Reasonable prices. Got me in right away. Sometimes you have to set up an appointment. Only does what you need, never tries to sell you more work.

Honest. Affordable. Friendly. Does not have a shiny waiting area with pleather seats. But don't be put off. This was great service and I will return.
