If I could give them zero stars, I would! They knowingly sell you a car that does not work and will run out of warranty just in time for them not to have to pay for anything. They know nothing about foreign cars, so do not buy them from here they say they have your back and they would love to have your business but they will never have mine. They should never have yours either. I bought a 2016 Volvo and it started overheating. They wouldn t even look at it until after it was out of warranty and then wouldn t do anything about it. Your dad would be ashamed about how you re running his business because he never treated people like this! He always held his family name and his family business higher than that.

Really like the service people. They are always curious and I've brought my cars in lately because the tire pressure light came on and they filled up my tires for no charge. I recommend them any time.

We visited several different dealerships after I totaled my van. This is the ONLY one who stayed consistent and worked to do everything in their power to get me approved. I most definitely am not in the most ideal situation to be approved for a loan. However Cody Martin stayed in contact the entire time. I didn t have to beg and plead for any communication. He was considerate and compassionate about everything I had been through. I didn t feel like I was being pushed into buying anything. I seriously couldn t be any happier with my new van. The crazy thing is. This is the EXACT vehicle I had my eyes on when I looked through their inventory online.. thought there was no way they d get me approved for it considering my credit situation. But when I got there and Cody told me what they had for me, I was beyond excited. We drove it and I knew I HAD to have it. This deal was not easy for Cody to get for me, but he made it happen with the help of his finance manager. I will most definitely be back when the time is right and my significant other finally gets that new truck he wants. I absolutely suggest ANY one in the search for a new vehicle to visit this dealership and ask for Cody himself. You will NOT be disappointed. Thank you again Cody!!

My wife and I were looking for another vehicle and wanted to do our research. Preferred Auto on Lima Road had the vehicles we were interested in looking at / test driving. While there we worked with Paul. He was great to work with! From start to finish he was patient and really wanted us to find the right vehicle for us. He was professional, genuine, and not pushy. I did not know what to expect when buying a car from Preferred, but I walked away very pleased with my experience. If you are looking for a vehicle, I would stop by Preferred on Lima Road and ask for Paul. If we need a vehicle again, I will definitely look at Preferred Auto. Thank you again Paul! We really appreciate you and your help!

This is specifically for the service center, Mike and Brent. Took the car in on a Monday for an electrical issue and they said it's the alternator. They quoted me with OSM parts and said I would have it back Thursday. Called Thursday to inquire on pick up and they said it would now be next Monday. Didn't hear anything late Monday so I called and they said no part yet so it would now be Tuesday. I called late Tuesday and they said the part was final there and car would be done Wednesday.Pick up the car Wednesday and within 5 miles the same issue persists. I call and find out that they did not use OSM parts. I asked that they put the old alternator in and I will take it to a mechanic I trust. They said that part is sold already.They promise to fix it so I take it back for another week, they say it's now fixed and I have to coordinate pick up again.Guess what happened today? Problem persists. I give up on this service center and question whether it makes sense to continue buying cars from here. I've bought at least 6 in my lifetime from Preferred.

EXCELLENT SERVICE & CUSTOMER CARE!!! I ve purchased 3 vehicles and have had the BEST experience all around with Preferred!!! TOP NOTCH!!! I absolutely adore Mike and Brent at the service department on Lima Road. They are honest, dependable and c provide QUALITY SERVICE AND CUSTOMER CARE. Mr Devito was great in the beginning gave him all my info and told him I was new to the area & needed a car. However he brought me in to test drive. Then tells me they couldn t help because I m new to the area. Wasted my time!!

I had a great experience with Preferred Auto. I dealt with Cody first through emails, then phone calls to an eventual test drive. Cody was great from the beginning. He and his manager, (Keith?) did their best to understand and accommodate my specific wants. I got the vehicle I was searching for and we made a deal I'm happy with.

I pay almost $33k for the Cargo van and after a month of I bought I am returning the van to this dealership for first service. Three hours later the service call me for water pump leaking on the Van .. how come? How come water pump leaking after a month? They re trying to give me a quote for fix that .. they are trying to sale to me the Van with broken Windshield glass on that time too

Preferred auto is a great place to buy a vehicle from. Everyone was very nice and not pushy at all. Jeff Myers was our salesman and he was awesome to work with!! This is our 2nd vehicle we ve but from them.

Its sad to say that we will no longer be doing business with this company when it comes to the service side. After Candice left and the manager Josh took over things have gone down hill very fast and it s pathetic. My wife waited for 4 hours for an OIL CHANGE! At the same time while waiting the lady behind the front desk was using tons of profanity right in front of the customers in the lobby talking about how she got wasted the night before. 4 hours later for a simple oil change Josh finally came to Tell my wife that our vehicle had been done for quite some time and apologized for the lack of ability of his workers. This is pathetic and sad as we have always gone with this company as far as any maintenance we need and purchased two vehicles from them. There are tons of other issues that have occurred since Josh took over but it s too long to type about. We will no longer be doing business here due to the lack of management on the service side.

Can't say enough great things about our dealings today with salesman Cody and finance manager Jim for helping us get into a "new to us" minivan! We drove over an hour and we were very impressed! Would highly recommend them if you're in the need of a good used vehicle at great prices! Thanks again Cody and Jim for all your help!! I love my new minivan!!

Very recommended! Friendly and honest staff! I went to Preferred for an oil change and a second opinion about a whole list of "maintenance issues" that a dealership said my car had. Ben was the tech & Brandon was the advisor. Brandon told me that I did not need to replace anything that the other dealership told me that I needed to immediately take care of. I appreciate his honesty....will definitely keep coming back.

Brian and Jim Always greet me with a smile. They treat me like I'm family. I see them treat ALL customers like family! They are honest and up front. They always have been. I live quite a ways from the Illinois rd shop. BUT, I wouldn't go anywhere else. I have purchased two vehicles from here and highly recommend them to family, friends, and anyone looking to buy a vehicle or in need of service for their vehicle! And I will continue to refer people to this Preferred dealership/ shop! I know that I can call anytime and ask questions or for advice, and I'm never made to feel stupid, or that I am a bother. I trust them Greatly. You have to have trust in the people taking care of your vehicle! Brian and Jim ARE THE BEST! I could go on and on and on, so I'll just say this. If you are looking for a vehicle. GO to Preferred Auto,and become part of the family. You won't regret it. I Promise!

Extremely poor experience. Cody was nice in helping me out in getting the car I ended up purchasing, disclosed that it had only 2 things wrong with it. Both weren't big problems and easy to fix. However less than a week after purchasing and less than a few hundred miles driven some serious problems were starting to occur. Contacted the dealership to see what they would do since the problems occurring should not of been happening on a car that they listed as in excellent condition and with such little use on it after purchasing. They refused to do anything. They falsely market and advertise their vehicles, a car listed in excellent condition should not be having problems within a few hundred miles of driving off the lot. I had to take the car to a service center to get repaired, which costed several hundred dollars in repairs for problems with the car. The problems found with the car were not disclosed, for a dealership that claims all their cars are checked, inspected, and diagnosed with any problems when arriving there is no way that these problems were not found, that or they just did not even bother checking the car when they got it. Extremely dissatisfied, would not recommend anyone come here to look at cars unless they are looking to get taken advantage of and get sold vehicles that are falsely marketed.

Bought a car in Jan of this year and I absolutely love it! The salesman were awesome they kept me updated on my application & was in my car within 48 hours! I appreciate everything they did to get me approved & was very pleased with how fast they worked. Thanks Preferred Auto I'd definitely recommend you guys to family & friends!!

I purchased a car in 2007 from Preferred and basically have had it serviced close to 100% of the time since then with the Lima Rd. Location. EVERYONE has been pleasant to work with! My husband has been affiliated in the past with the RV/ Automotive industry and he has been my litmus test for service and repairs and has always been pleased too!!

I was helped by the wonderful Mr. Pasquale Devito and he was so amazing! It was my first time buying a car on my own volition and he helped me all along the way, I was very grateful and excited to be his first car deal Everyone in the office is so helpful as well!

TERRIBLE!! Never owned a new car in 63 yrs. but this one takes the cake! 1)brake light was on owner of Preferred said he checked and everything was ok, must be something from past and headlight was out.A). They fixed headlight, went down the rd..every time I d hit a bump, the light would go out. Took it right back.B). Didn t know when they offered to sand rotor over $100 would be charged2. Owner of Preferred said he knew the previous owner. REALLY?? Is that why I couldn t renew the title..because they needed the current title!!!3. Took to get tires rotated. Couldn t do that either! WHY? Subframe was all rusted out, said too dangerous to even drive. What did Preferred say? U bought AS IS, but it s safe to drive! REALLY?? Two weeks later, a part broke through subframe. Another $1,000 !!4. After being fixed, was driving down the rd, hit a bump and almost lost control of steering wheel!!! ANOTHER$500 for lower control arms!!5). Only 1 bright light works too expensive to fix !!6). Driving down rd when all lights came on..CHECK ENGINE BATTERY BRAKE.Turned car off, battery light went off but others r still on!7). NOW to top it all off driving down the rd and car kept jerking wouldn t go.. then died!!!Where s my NEW USED CAR? Sitting in my driveway! I can look at it but can t seem to drive it!!We ll see if they put ALL COMMENTS in here!I wouldn t wish this on my worst enemy. THINK before u shopped PREFERRED AUTOMOTIVE!!! I m sorry, but this keeps going to the wrong rd, but same owner!! I dealt with the OWNER OF PREFERRED AUTOMOTIVE ON ILLINOIS RD

You should definitely look to Preferred Auto to get your next vehicle. Ask for Paul Parker, he s the absolute best! Management and finance were also both amazing to work with. Made me feel like family, and I d highly recommend them!

Mick, Cody, Shaughn and Jason, are AMAZING!!! They were all very patient, knowledgeable and professional and actually made the whole process fun and easy for me. Cody immediately contacted me to help me with where I needed to start, Mick worked with the price of the vehicle I wanted, Shaughn explained the vehicle and features and the test drive, and Jason was there every step of the way with financing! I would HIGHLY recommend seeing these guys at the Lima Road Preferred Auto!!!!
