I went in for an oil change and the team was able to inspect my car. I was informed of my filter needing a change and they were able to get that done in a reasonable time as well. Great service overall and i was informed and updated with the progress of my car.

I wanted to s/o the customer service I received from this location in particular. I been coming to Midas for service for years now and they have never disappointed. They not only was professional but very helpful in getting my car fixed after having so many mishaps with other places I was looking into. Travis the assistant manager and the manager (can t remember his name) sorry but they know who they re was God sent the reassurance I received and the outstanding help with fixing my car has nothing short of amazing they really came through for me and kept me in the loop the whole time they turned what was a nightmare with my car into a great experience I highly recommend them

I have been going to Midas on Coldwater for a couple of years now. I appreciate that they will work on my smartcar. A lot of places aren't as helpful as Midas had been. I really like working with Reggie and talking to him. He gets to the bottom what's needs done. I appreciate the people of midas

I had an emergency with my car today. My radiator had blown up and the car was not able to be driven at all without overheating. I came to Midas on Coldwater to get it fixed but I didn t know how much a radiator cost. The assistant manager at this location Travis was extremely understanding of my situation and did everything he could to get the price down to an affordable price within my budget. Travis reached out to the District Manager Shane and together they brought my bill down $400. This was an above and beyond experience and I will continue to bring my car here for any and all repairs. I highly recommend Midas as they are caring and understanding. Truly mechanics just looking to help the people. Thank you Shane and Travis!

I hate 90% of mechanics. These guys are opposite to the majority, they are reliable and trustworthy. They keep their word, they honor a given quote. I appreciate their expertise and work ethic. Reggie the store manager has been a joy to work with over the past year. Mike the owner has a few locations and has really maintained a good reputation with me. I've had issues with a few things assumed to be related, called Mike and he said if it's something we did, we will take care of it. To me that's honorable. You can't expect perfection from anyone but you can appreciate effort. These guys go the extra mile to maintain customer relationships. Thanks guys! I appreciate you helping me with my daughter's car! In this case particularly, your commitment to excellence shined through like the morning sun!19/8/6 Back again! Came in for a small noise from the rear end, o2 sensor and oil change. They ended up finding my rusted out and broken exhaust hangers were allowing the exhaust to hit the rear end causing the noise. They saved me time and money by repairing one hanger and replacing the other 2. Thankfully they did this, the quick repair saved my flex pipe that connects the engine side of the exhaust to the mid pipe under the car that runs to the rear of the vehicle. Had they missed this repair, it would have damage all of my exhaust system. Could have cost me a thousand dollars! Exhaust can be pricey especially while traveling. Thanks guys! I'm finally giving up most of the maintenance on the bottom side of my vehicle, arthritis is getting the best of me. I could not do it without having a reliable shop I can trust. Mike is a dependable owner and maintains the same standard at his Fort Wayne locations. I've used coliseum and Coldwater. I prefer Coldwater from my experiences.

Been taking my bucket bolts to them for over six years, they do good work, manage to find obsolete parts and keep my car on the road. The prices reasonable for the work that s done, and they ve picked me up and dropped me off at home for free while the car was being worked. They even offered to drive me to work the next once, but that wasn t needed. One of the best mechanics I ve used. Never had to work on the same thing twice unless enough time went by that it aged and wore out. I do not recommend coming here at all. I scheduled for a two hour window to get my tires put on get an alignment and balance. This should only take 2 hours at most. Well 3 and a half hours later and I m still waiting on them to finish the work. The tire deals are not worth spending half my day at the tire shop. It should not take nearly 4 hours to put tires on at all. Especially since I scheduled over a week in advance. The only reason they get 2 instead of 1 star is because of the tire deal of buy 3 get 1 free

Ed the mechanic called me, described the problem and gave me options. Went out of his way to meet my needs. Reggie the manager also helped me in getting my Blazer back on the road. I noticed a low squeak so I took my vehicle into Midas for a brake inspection, I sat and waited for my vehicle for what I thought would be 45min or so to inspect the brakes, this inspection took over 2hrs, I was met with a list of issues totaling over $1300. Main issues they stated was my calibers. I did not feel right so I took my vehicle for a second opinion. Before I took my vehicle my car started knocking remember my only complaint before I took it into Midas was a faint squeak. I called and informed Midas of this and of course they shrugged with no care.. I take my vehicle for a second opinion and they immediately noticed that my front tires were not tightly bolted this would be the reason for the knocking. Nor did I need new calipers. My car was serviced and rides smoothly without all the work Midas said needed to be done. Please always get more than one opinion. My guess is the shop did not put my tires back on correctly in hopes to get me to come back and have my car serviced by them so they can falsely claim more issues than what was needed and get more money.

I really like the way I've always been treated there - with courtesy and honesty! I had them check the brakes on a used car I recently purchased, and they did a thorough check and charged me just $20 for the inspection. They didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. When I made the appointment I told you what needed done. So why an hour later you tell me the same thing and haven't even done the work really an hour to look at the brakes. Today was my only day off I had other appointments to get to. When he told me two more hours before they would be done. That meant I had to walk to my dental appointment making me late and walk back there. I have health issues and now I'll be paying for it with my blood pressure jumping all over and headaches to show me just how high it is. Worst experience of my life. I will not be recommending you nor returning.

DO YOU KNOW how hard it is to successfully diagnose TWO simultaneous, newly replaced, defective sensors in the same system? I chased my tail for weeks. Nothing you know or do traditionally for diagnostics makes any sense because both bad sensors are masking the fact that the other is also bad. I've spent a lot of time in all sides of the automotive field. Even if you do your own maintenance, etc, sometimes you just need a pro and here they are. First call! I needed a throttle body repaired according to this location due to my acceleration dying when I turned the the heat on in my vehicle. Got it diagnosed: the first red flag was they put the wrong name on my vehicle; put the name of the guy that came in after me. Oh well, mistakes happen right? Got the diagnosis. Then they stated the part was ordered and I scheduled a repair day after payday. Second red flag. Turns out they didn't order the part. Oh well, I'm still getting a part that they had at a different location brought to them so might as well stick to it. As I'm driving my "repaired" vehicle, it was fine at first. But that evening my vehicle's reving goes far too high upon starting it and goes 20-35 MPH without even touching the gas! So it seems to me they did a shoddy, incorrect, and neglectful repair job. Hopefully they'll fix their mistake when I bring this particular employee's incompetence to their attention. Guess we'll see.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I've taken two of my vehicles there for a variety of services and have been very satisfied by the quality of the work. Everything has been reasonably priced and when I couldn't get my hood to close, Reggie even fixed it for free. It took them no time at all but was a major hassle for me. Excellent service and always done well!

One word one name for this place, Reggie. I've owned my own business with multiple vehicles. I have traveled all across the US meeting different Mechanics and Auto shop guys, Reggie is pretty damn awesome! His customer service is through the roof! Knowing about vehicles and the way he treats people there isn't anyone better. I will be a customer for Midas because of Reggie. Thank you Midas for hiring Reggie, GIVE THAT MAN A RAISE! I made an appointment for an ac inspection and they got me in quickly! When I arrived, they took my car back within minutes! After an assessment was done, I gave the go-ahead to do the work and within an hour it was done. I could tell the employees take great care of not only the car but the customer as well. Just the fact that the "shop worker" came out to talk to me and addressed me by name was huge. Not many business's do that anymore. After everything was said and done, I was told that if anything changes anytime soon, then to come back and they'd figure out the issue and not add any extras! Between the work satisfaction and the customer friendly employees, they'll be getting my business from now on.

absolute clowns. car came back smelling like cigarette smoke even though I was assured "they don't smoke in the shop" ;)Was the smoke wafting through the shop to lobby door a hallucination too? I think not. extremely unprofessional.Also almost 500$ for a spark plug replacement (which was rightly refused)Jiffy Lube will do it for 200Tom Kelley Buick for 239I wonder where they got that big ol number from?When considering some of these other negative reviews as well I can confidently tell you to do yourself and your car a favor and avoid this location.

I had an oil change and diagnostic test done which was fine. The diagnostic test was due to my hazard lights coming on by themselves randomly often. Midas informed me to go purchase the hazard switch, but to repair it would take them 3 hours and cost over $200. I purchase the part went to another mechanic they replaced the switch in 15mns and charge less then $30..So they LIED about the repair cost..PLEASE always get a second opinion when u need work done. I used to go elsewhere in town before they jacked prices of an oil change up, at which point I gave this Midas a try. That was over 3 years ago and I've been taking my van there since. From having some of the lower prices in town, to there accommodating scheduling, to the fact they call me out to see the issue before having to make a decision these guys are great. Will continue to rely on this Midas for my future vehicle maintenance needs.
