Been here 5 or 6 times for different reasons...they have been outstanding every time. They explain everything in detail, are honest, and always have time to get the job finished. This last visit was a second opinion from another shop. Well they (Midas) saw immediately what the problem was and fixed it. I will NOT be going to any other place in the future. They have earned my complete trust with their workmanship, efficiency, and honesty. Great job Gary and crew, you gained a lifetime customer

Great service. After taking my truck to a less reputable auto repair shop, & leaving with the same issue I took it in for. I called Midas the next day. They got me in, found the issue, & back on the road quickly. Their staff was friendly & knowledgeable. I'm very happy with the service I received from Midas.

Well, first off I was quoted a wrong price for brake service on one axle. There are hidden fees included which they don't tell you about. Fee to simply just look at it, which was 80 bucks, then they have to determine what's needed, which is another 60-70 bucks, then the actual brake pads cost is 127.99, labor cost on top of that, and yea... I wasn't pleased.The technician did good work, and the people there were real friendly. The prices though... Wow, don't believe anything over the phone for sure unless you already know what you're getting into. I would have taken it somewhere else if I didn't feel locked in by that first 80 dollar fee.

If I could give them more than five stars I would.I went here for the first time today and admittedly when the vehicle was dropped off there was a miscommunication but they stepped in and moved mountains to make it right even though it wasn't really even their fault.The work as far as I can tell was done extremely reasonable amount of time and it was done well.I will be back.

I had an great experience with the Coldwater Midas team! They are very Knowledgeable and Compassionate about the job and their customers! I will continue looking to the Coldwater Midas team for any future issues I might have with my vehicle! Outstanding Job Midas Team!!!

I took my car to these guys because I would hear a rattling noise everytime I hit a bump & etc. They told me everything was fine with my car the underbody was just loose and they tighten it back up. I drive 2 hours away and go over a railroad track then next thing you know my car is making a rattling sound everytime I drive over bump and make a scraping sound everytime I turn. I took it to the Midas in the city I went to, within 20 mins they come back with a list of things that needs replaced. I could have been stranded on the side of the road dealing with these guys. Moral of the story is this location isn t diligent with their work. Because there is no way if them guys inspected the car like they said they did , they could have never missed the problem. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS LOCATION!

Definitely will not be going back. Cant post unless you give it a star but i wouldnt give midas one star. I know everyone is in buisness to make money. Needed front rotors and breaks plus one caliper installed. Originally wanted 970. Had everything but the caliper. Once I bought the caliper I was refunded 340 dollars. Mark up of 300 dollars for a basic caliper. Sad! Robbery!! Bleed lines and break fluid was what they had plus labor. Over 600 dollars. 100 yards away at Tom steele quoted the same job for 250. Midas is definitely taking advantage with their prices. Do not get overcharged by midas. Recommend Tom steel any day of the week.

The Midas on Illinois road is BEYOND excellent! They provide exceptional service ! I fully trust Gary and the other mechanics here at this facility, you can trust that they won't try and scam you to make a quick buck like other repair shops. Anything they fix is guaranteed for I believe a year, so when I had to come back for issues with my fuel pump 2 months later the staff happily fixed it for $0... I know every midas will guarantee their parts but i guarantee coming this midas (and I unfortunately have to say this midas ONLY in my experience) will bring you peace of mind when you have any problems with your vehicle! Thanks guys!

Asked for 29.99 oil change.. cost me 100.00 due to using synthetic oil. Ok. Whatever.Also ask for them to rotate tires like the sale sales. Think they rotated? Nope. Think they let me know what s wrong with TPMS light and quote a fix? (Because I wanted it fixed and would have paid to have it done) Nope

I have used this Midas ever since I moved to Fort Wayne 6 years ago. I have had many things done, and done well! Everything from from basic maintenance to full after market suspension upgrade. While sitting in the lobby, I have even seen them do an entire engine swap in a truck. They are always honest and up front with myself as well as any customer, I have ever heard them talk to. This Midas is not the run of the mill "quicky" oil change shop; they are skilled and have great customer service. When it comes time to choosing who takes care of one of the most expensive things you will ever buy in a lifetime, it is crucial to choose a reliable shop. Though they have shown me many times over, why they deserve my business; today I needed them after bending, twisting, and stretching my exhaust over a railway crossing. They took my pretzeled exhaust and turned it back to normal in an impressive amount of time. The owner and technicians are SOOO nice and HONEST. I took my car to another shop and they told me I needed back and front breaks quoted me over 1700 but couldn t fit me in until the next day I needed to leave out of town that day so I went to Midas they were able to squeeze me in and also told me my breaks were basically new and I didn t need either. I had an exhaust issue the other shop didn t even tell me about and they were able to fix it in a couple of hours. My car is driving brand new and so fairly priced! Will only ever bring my car here.Services: Exhaust, Oil change

Took car for radiator replacement with a quote of $678. Was called and told the price would be nearly $900 to fix. Told them I was quoted far less, and the reluctantly agreed to do it for quoted price. Get a call a few hours later stating my coolant reservoir was "completely blown out and would not hold fluid." Then was told it would be a little over $300 to fix. I stated I could fix that myself. Picked up my truck, took it home and popped the hood. Coolant reservoir was completely full. Although, the fluid inside was obviously in bad shape. Fallowing morning my engine light came on for the first time since I got the truck, didn't even come on with bad radiator. Upon changing my oil, I noticed my oil pan bolt was extremely loose. After draining oil found that my engine oil had been drained down to half it's proper amount. Also a few new noises also popped up that same day. After reading reviews online I found that this location has a history of malicious Acts against customers that do not want to pay for extra work.

Talk about customer service! I came to this location a couple of years ago for an oil change and tire rotation. They discovered one of my tires had never been balanced. They balanced them, no problem. We have had a few other issues over the years and they have always been honest and fair. A mostly "quiet " grind turned into a loud growling noise. I called late on a Friday and got an appt next day. 10AM and 2 hrs later I got breaks again. Quick service I think and they gave us $50 off for a coupon. I recommend Midas. 5 stars.

My motor mount and axel broke and snapped my brake line while I was in town visiting family. Gary and his team were able to get me back on the road in 24 hours and my Volkswagen is driving smoother than it did when I first got it. ~For years, I have been searching high/low for a good brake mechanic/shop, to no avail. Thanks to my neighbor Dennis, I finally found one Midas on Illinois Rd. just past the Jefferson Rd turnoff by Chevy s Pizza. Yes, it took just a little bit longer than expected due to an unforeseen issue that unexpectedly arose, but from start to finish the Customer Service was FANTASTIC, and they communicated each step of the way, ALWAYS taking OWNERSHIP of every last detail . And they were more than fairly priced!Bottom Line: If you want someone who you can truly trust, who is truly fair, go to Midas and see either Gary the Manager, or even any one of the Techs You will be grateful that you did not waste your time going from place to place, as I myself did for several years since moving here. It was definitely a memorable experience .Even if it was just getting my car worked on! Thanks for WOWING me yesterday, Midas!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE.!!!!THEY PUT THE WRONG PADS ON MY CAR.Another shop caught it midas will not pay the $165 the other shop charged . OWNER IS HORRIBLE

I wasn t going to leave a review because although my car repair service was not good the staff are all really nice.Nevertheless nice doesn t fix cars.I brung my car up to Midas due to reduced engine power and my car was shaking and making knocking sounds. They did a diagnosis and told me I needed brakes and rotors (that will stop the shaking and knocking) as well as a throttle body injection to stop reduced engine power.Ok? So I declined rotors and brakes but asked will the throttle body stop my reduced engine power & the mechanic said Yes. Approximately 3 days later my reduced engine light came back on along with service ESC, service Traction, and again Reduced Engine Power. I bring the car back to the shop I am now told I need an accelerator paddle (and the mechanic said he didn t know why they did my throttle body without doing accelerator paddle)which is an additional $346.35 (I ve already paid $619.05 for throttle body injection.) I also got someone else to do the brakes and rotors like the mechanic said I needed well? The man that did my breaks and rotors said they were not in bad shape at all but if Midas said I needed it to stop my car from shaking and knocking then perhaps it should be done. My car never stopped shaking and knocking and my Reduced engine power along with additional issues are present! That s not all Once I was told I need an accelerator pedal I declined it bc I didn t have the money after all I just spent over $800 for throttle body/brakes and rotors! So I leave and guess what? There s a hole in my floor covered with a paper floor mat! I call the manager to tell him my experience and all he can say is I m sorry they didn t explain to you the first time all the work you needed and that I have the codes If you want to see them. They were trying to save me money thinking the throttle body would take care of the reduced engine. What he didn t know is I have my original diagnosis paper and a accelerator paddle code was not on there no mention of it but it was on my second estimate paper. So ladies and gentlemen I am out of over $800 going to Midas and I still have the exact issues I went in with and a hole in my floor!! I ll never go back to them again I feel so robbed and taken advantage of.Service: Vehicle Inspection
