Unbelievably skilled technicians! Chip and Chris were able to diagnose and repair my car when 3 other shops were not able to, or just didn't care to. I will not ever again waste my time taking my cars to anyone else. Thank you for your kindness and professionalism!

I had my second experience with MU this past week. My first impression was right - they are awesome! I was expecting a repair bill almost double what I paid, but was again pleasantly surprised. They are fast, efficient, hard working, and very reasonable. I would highly recommend them. Don't forget to check out their sign on the east side of their building. October: Because they're so honest and upfront I took my wife's Explorer in to deal with a heating issue. Again, I am not a mechanically inclined guy so I trust they will treat me right and they did. Replaced the blending motor in about 90 minutes. As before the price was right and had no complaints. It's simply a great place! August: I was looking for a reliable and reputable auto garage. I wasn't sure one even existed anymore, honestly. I found Mechanix Unlimited via a Google search and read the awesome reviews and saw their 4.9 star rating. Still skeptical I called them. On the other end of the phone was Brenda, the nicest lady I had ever spoken to at a service garage. Well, we're off to a good start, I thought. I dropped my Jeep off early Monday morning. Mid-morning I got a call from the service tech letting me know where they were and what they had found. He was very honest and gave me the facts on a part and let me make the decision. Later that afternoon he called to let me know it was finished and it was going to be less than the quote. Even better! As it turned out they didn't have to do as much as they thought. How many places operate like that? Normally it's get all you can. When I picked it up, Chip walked me through everything they had done, showed me internal pictures of my engine and gave helpful recommendations. He also had the worn parts for me, which I declined to see. After my personal experience I can assure you I will return and recommend them to everyone. I couldn't be happier! I was quoted a high price for a repair at a local reputable mechanic. I decided to get a second opinion here based on the reviews. I was able to make an appt within days of calling. The mechanic called me a few hours after dropping my car off and advised he could fix my car for less than half the price I was quoted at the first mechanic. I got my car back the same day and paid half the price I was planning to pay. It's been several months and my car is still running well. Very pleased, would recommend!

They were amazing and so honest about the work needed done to my car.The local dealership told me I needed $2500 work done soon on my car. Some things I knew were coming up but some of it was confusing and not explained.I took it into Mexchanix Unlimited to get a second opinion. They recommended only 2 of the 5 items. Their prices for the work and parts were also much more reasonable. I m so glad I took my car in to them and will be returning for future work!

Went to get power steering fixed at another location and they couldn't find the problem... these guys found it and fixed it in no time. Their prices are much cheaper than others as well!

Took our vehicle here after a recommendation and getting an insane quote from the dealer. Staff was extremely friendly and gave me a quote nearly 1/4 the price of the dealership! They got my vehicle in that evening and was completed the following morning. I will be using them from now on.

They have been my families mechanic for years and now that I am adult and have my own vehicle and no longer under warranty at the dealership they are my go to business for all things car. They are fair and friendly and honest people. My first visit today, and it was a fantastic experience. I've known the owner for a long time, so it's a no-brainer to come to his new location. The office manager is impressively friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Come here for trustworthy and expert service. Gives me a tremendous peace of mind to know my vehicles are in good hands.

They charged me only for the parts and work I requested when something else broke while they were working on it. They repaired that with free parts and labor! You can't get that elsewhere.Diagnostics were free. Brake fluid I requested was free. I offered to pay for it. Nope! They try to give people rides to and from, and I think they always provided.I've been going there many years, I've always been at least satisfied, and I do recommend Mechanix!

After 4 mechanics, these guys were able to finally get rid of this god awful groaning sound that my car was making!!!!! I was pleased with the work done, the service and the prices!!! Thank you guys so much, I can finally drive around again!

I used to live a block away from this mechanic. Incredible service and knowledge. Most trusted place I've ever been to. Will never leave this mechanic unless he retires. I also trust their recommendations to other places. Very good people to know. Trustworthy people are hard to come by.

Mechanix unlimited has always been very honest work. They've never left me feeling unsure about their work they performed on my cars. I've been a customer since day one and I'll continue on. If you've ever gotten a chance to meet the original owner Carl Marcum (recently sold to and now stands as Chips Auto Repair 2) you'll understand what I'm talking about. Anyone in the fort wayne area that needs quality car work from oil changes to timing chains this is the spot. Fair pricing. Family owned/ operated

I took my car to mechanix unlimited out of pure convenience at first, but once was all it took to convince me that they are the best option around. Their level of honesty, professionalism. Quality of work, and personality is hard to find. Now I know a lot of mechanics have some of those good qualities, but if you're looking for one that has all... then Mechanix unlimited is the obvious choice. I will always choose them first and I recommend them to anyone that cares about their car, wallet or morals.

Can't speak highly enough of Carl and his daughter. By far the most honest and ethical shop in the county. They do fantastic work and the prices are extremely reasonable. Really knowledgeable and easy to work with.
