All of the mechanics are great here, but I really appreciate all that Jim and Greg have done for me. They are always making sure I understand exactly what is wrong with my car if there is an issue, and even offer to call my dad to give him a run-down when I m a little confused. The work done on my vehicles in the last 5 years has always been stellar.Jim saw that my recently purchased car needed the catalytic converter replaced. He actually talked to the head of the service department where I purchased the vehicle from to relay this information. I am so impressed by this, he is a very busy guy but took the time out of his day to do that. He is a true, honest mechanic and really wants the best for his customers.Lastly, Marilou, the receptionist, is wonderful. She is the sweetest lady and always has a smile. I really appreciate the team at Kruse and recommend them to everyone I know. My family & friends are also highly satisfied with the service they receive at Kruse.

The staff here is always friendly, honest, fair, and works hard. The work they do has always been the right work and when we haven't needed to take care of something immediately, they let us know that, too. They have been able to diagnose some very weird problems, too. We have always been treated fairly, have been customers here for years, and will keep coming back! A real gem!

Was quoted $220 ended up being $589. They Said 3 hours of labor was why it was more than double the quote and that they didn't give me any labor quotes. Don't know why you give a quote without an estimate on labor. When someone ask "how much will it cost" they mean all of it. I just need a general inspection of a car. The man didn t take enough time to check it, I feel like he was in a hurry to go to lunch leaving us with more doubts than before.He didn t tell anything about scanning the car, and the hood didn t close well after the inspection

I've worked on cars for 40 yrs I am a parts swappers at best but I can say Jim is the most honest mechanic I've met. Took a look at my car and didn't charge me a dime. Showed me what needed done.Everyone else wanted 100 just to look! I will take my vehicle here every time I suggest you do the same.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

I have been going to Jim and his team for 10+ years. He never steers me wrong, doesn't give b.s./false car fixes to cheat customers. I habe never had a problem with him or his team. Highly recommend this company for all your vehicle repair needs.

I decided to try Kruse because I had taken my car to another place and after my last fix, the prices seemed to have really raised.i went to Kruse becausey they were close and the reviews seemed to be pretty good. I had a fluke hole in my condenser. He got it in really quick And fixed my squeaky front brake and the condenser. Jim was really nice to explain the problem. And was very personalble. we have 4 vehicles in our household, and I will be going back! Thanks Jim!Services: Engine repair, Brakes, Oil change

It's one of the best mechanic spots in Ft. wayne. Honest, real, and thorough. Talk to Jim 1st and you don't need to talk to anyone else.

After getting four new tires put on my car I went to another automotive place to get the discounted alignment. Needless to say no alignment and a quote of almost $1800 worth of repairs before alignment could be done. Thankfully a neighbor of ours told us to check out Stemen's, that they are one of the best in town. It took a while for me to get my vehicle in there, but from reading the other reviews it didn't surprise me. Stemen's saved me $700!! My repairs cost me $1148 at Stemen's compared to the $1800 that almost made me sick to my stomach at the other place. The building is spotless, and I dealt with Travis (?) and he was friendly/helpful..which is unusual these days. The whole experience was excellent, I mean excellent!! They stuck with the time frame of appts and the length of time to complete the work. Everything seems to run efficient there imo. Most importantly they seem to be an upstanding HONEST automotive shop. They will be my go to repair shop from now on, which will be soon to get an oil change oh! Before I forget, the parts were also were lifetime warranty...what!!? That was a nice little surprise as I was getting ready to leave. Thanks Stemen's for the peace of mind, quality of work, and FAIR prices. I'll be seeing you soon...

Old shop behind a gas station but the staff are very friendly. I was confused about their pricing since they advertised an oil change for 19 dollars but it seems as if it s just a discount of 19 dollars. Overall I would go back for the quality of service.

Great bunch of people, excellent repair work on most any vehicle, very good at working out a timely repair to meet your schedule, you really need to give Kruse Automotive Repair a try, you won't be disappointed. Located behind Shell gas station on Lima Road in Fort Wayne. Just ask for Jim .

A trustworthy street mechanic was going to try to save my engine for cheap but these guys wouldn't even try. They did charge me almost 100$ to let them glance at it though. Much more than it would have cost to start replacing parts via other methods.

They are always friendly and do the best they can to accommodate you. From simple work to more extensive, they are great. Great prices, and keep you updated on what's going on. I'll never go anywhere else!

My Dad takes his van to Jim at Kruse Auto and he likes the service and repair jobs that they do there. The owner was a very good friend of my sisters before she passed away and I think that's why Dad chooses to go there also.

Beware. Don't ever use these hacks for body work. They had our car for over 2 months and it is still goofed. Not to mention they took it to a body shop off site without my permission. There is still over spray and paint runs left on the finished paint. They also left the lug nuts loose and my tire fell off while driving. If you need a good mechanic and body shop, Stay away of Jim and his team.

Kruse Automotive did an excellent job diagnosing and fixing a problem with my vehicle's AC that had been deemed unfixable at another shop, and the cost of the repair was VERY reasonable. We received prompt and professional service; I highly recommend Kruse Automotive!
