Worst car repair experience of my life. Very poor communication. They told us it would take half a day to replace a part- they had our car for FIVE days. They always promised they were "almost done" and would call when it was done, but I always had to call (several hours after the time they promised it'd be done by) only to hear that it was going to be ever longer. When they finally finished with it, they parked it in grass/gravel littered with screws and other pieces of metal. We left for a trip that same day and ended up on the side of the road within 30 minutes due to a screw in our tire. Obviously can't be certain it was from them, but it seems awfully coincidental to say the least.

Just received my vehicle, seems to be working fine now. Eric and Jim were very professional and reasonable. I m glad to have the work done cheaper than Bob Thomas or another dealer would have charged, but I would have spent more at a dealer if I d known the lobby and shop would stink up my clothes and my car with cigarette smell as much as they did. A few dirty spots on the vehicle were left when I picked it up, but because Eric noticed when I mentioned it, they will mail me Mike s wash coupons. I thought this was super admirable and an example of their effort to serve their customers. In total: Was the service the most satisfactory? No, there are loose ends like the smoke and the mud. Could it be better? Yes. Was I taken care of, and would I recommend JTS? Maybe. I d love to see if they clean up a bit to meet the modern expectations of non-smokers, but yes, fair rates, fair work, very cool guys.

An absolute nightmare from start to finish. I don't even know where to begin. I brought my vehicle in several weeks ago as it was still under warranty and JTS was a preferred repair facility under my warranty company. I was told that the timing belt broke and my engine was ruined and I would need an engine replacement. After that, my vehicle sat in their shop for ALMOST A MONTH and they NEVER even touched it! When I would call for an update (they never called me with information, I always had to call them), Nikki was always rude and blamed everything on the fact that they were moving (guess the should have shut down during this time if they didn't want customers). I called my warranty company and they told me they were having trouble getting any response as well, even after asking JTS for proof of the problem 4 times! After my claim had been opened for almost 30 days with absolutely no progress made, my warranty company pulled the vehicle from JTS and had it moved to another facility where it was fixed in 3 days. Oh, and the diagnosis I got was completely wrong. It ended up being a $200 repair rather than the $5800 JTS was asking for. I am still in shock that this happened to me at a business that seems to have otherwise good reviews. If you want your vehicle fixed in a timely manner, look elsewhere. Beyond disappointed by how my situation was handled.

If I could post and rate without any (rating 0) stars I would. JTS is not what it used to be. They are now overpriced and neglectful. I advise anyone to utilize a different repair shop. Values and integrity are important and it is quite apparent that the new owners lack these attributes. There were 3 failures or mistakes made on their part. When you pay this amount of money (which is insane, even with the so-called discount) to just fail to inform a client of repairs needed, the other two details were minimal. But if they failed to do several services that you paid for, you start questioning if they even completed what you paid for.Even after calling them and informing them of why I had a problem. All they said was we all make mistakes. They didn t even ask me for my name, to find out which tech did the service to correct the issue. Very unethical and do not know how to run a business.The manager was supposedly on vacation but the worker also didn t offer to take my information down to have the manager handle the matter upon his return. Not worth the money or the time. Appears to not value their customers.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

Brought my vehicle in to get oil leak and oil changed. Picked up 2 days later and was told it was fixed. Got home and nope not fixed. It is leaking about a quart every other day.... so, not like a micro leak..... Now I have called a few times and left messages (during their posted business hours) and still no call back. For a service business, they should really try to provide service. Another business to put on the NEVER USE and tell everyone about.Service: Oil change

Guys at Auto Zone mentioned that JTS seemed like a great place. We had a emergency need for AC repair and gave them a call. They were able to fit us in that day and got us 100% by afternoon. My son brought his Subaru in for diagnosis and they gave him a great deal on what he needs done. They are extremely knowledgeable and nice. Met the owner Jim and his son Eric. I was going to take my vehicle to get serviced until they called me attempting to upcharge , as she put it, double the cost of the part and called me cheap for not wanting to pay double the cost. Very rude, conning and unprofessional. And I m fully aware of the quote including both the labor and parts. My concern was that I had purchased the part myself and was fully aware of how much it cost brand new. She wanted 3 times the amount of the actual cost and called me cheap for not wanting to be ripped off. I ended paying $526 for a job your company quoted over $1,200 for.

Jim was very knowledgeable and was able to help me fix my suspension issue at fraction of cost of what the dealership had quoted. Very courteous customer service!. I took my car in to get an oil change and have them look at why my car was making weird noises when I hit my brakes. They said they didn t see or hear anything wrong with my car.I wasn t convinced, so I had a family member take a look, and he said it was clear my brakes needed replaced badly. I took it to another mechanic and they confirmed my brakes needed replaced and it also had a very loose ball joint I m not sure why exactly JTS missed it, but it s just concerning that they missed something 2 other people saw right away and that could ve resulted in a serious accident had it not been fixed. I highly recommend JTS Automotive! Came in for auto repairs and won t go anywhere else. They even do my oil changes now. This shop does quality work at a very fair price and the job is completed in a timely manner. Customer service was excellent. Fast in and out time. They figured out the electrical issue with our 05 Town and Country transmission quickly. Prices seem very fair and he even located a used replacement power distribution center (new would be extremely expensive I imagine). They also called and asked for approval before fixing the issue, and gave us an estimate which was spot on for the final price. Really appreciate that too. They allowed us to drop off and pickup the vehicle on our weekend/after-hours schedule because we paid for the bill over the phone. We appreciate the good fast work and flexibility guys! Thanks you!

I would highly recommend them for all your automotive needs. They are all very nice and knowledgeable. I went in for a simple body control module replacement and programming and had a weird popping sound and asked them if they would take a look at it and found the issue quickly. It was an over looked loose bolt. Thanks again!

JTS is the real deal! We have had bad experiences at previous auto repair places. We found JTS and decided to give them a try. That was over 2 years ago and we have never been disappointed. They do quality work at an affordable price. We will continue to take all of our vehicles to them for repairs.

Took my truck in for oil change. I also asked them to check out front brakes for intermittent squeal. They checked out each side and noted pads are in good shape and there is no evidence of scarring the rotors. All work was completed in an expedient and professional manner. New ownership picks up where the former left off. Good service, with a friendly smile. I like the idea of a rewards program. Hopefully though I won't have to use it too often. Would currently recommend them to work on your car.

Service rates are well below the dealership rates and they didn't try to up-sell or mislead me in any way. Diagnosed the problem quickly instead of hit-and-miss replacing parts until something worked. It is so nice as a single woman to know you are getting the best service at a fair price. With JTS there are no feelings that you might be given a bad deal. They are the best. Solid, good service and very timely.

This business is the best one around Fort Wayne. We have been going to them for years. They even installed a winch in the bed of my husband's truck which is not their normal duties. They are very honest and always get us in as soon as possible. Will not go to any other shop.

Not the same JTS that it used to be. Tim Miller sold it and Jim Vecellio who doesn't care about the customers or the work that gets done, just the money he can make. They are way over booked and not getting cars in when they tell you and won't take on any work that takes time. They won't even honor warranty work they had done in the past saying they are not JTS any more. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.Service: Engine repair

Very nice and helpful staff. The wait is typically longer than expected even with an appointment. The waiting room is always thick with fumes that quickly cause me to have a sore throat and irritated eyes. My car smelled like cigarette smoke when I picked it up.

Very pleased with JTS. Estimates are accurate, repairs done on time and prices are more reasonable then any other place I've used. They are a diamond in the rough. A 5 star outfit. for sure.
