The team working at Jess Lewis Transmission were awesome to work with from beginning to end. We had some pretty significant issues with our Infinity and called around to a few places and most wouldn t even consider taking it on as a project. The guys at Jess Lewis took it on, and did it with a helpful attitude the entire way. We worked with Greg specifically and he was great at communicating and went above and beyond to work with our warrenty and was always upfront with pricing and the final price we paid was exactly what they told us as the beginning, so no bait and switch type things. I would highly recommend Jess Lewis Transmission and I will be using them again in the future if the situation arises.

The folks at Jess Lewis have been easy to work with. They have been very fair in their pricing and their mechanical work is excellent or they will make it right. I have sent my mother to them for repairs and she has been taken care of well.

Jess Lewis Transmission went above and beyond helping me with my transmission issues, from working with my warranty company to helping solve a problem that arose after I had moved away from Indiana. I am so grateful for their expertise and their kindness and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a honest and reliable team to trust with their automobile.

Very rude.. added work and charges to my original invoice and bill without first contacting me lied about an issue not being present just so they didn't have to do the work. Will never go back or recommend.

Very helpful got my car in for an oil change and they informed me that my rear engine seal was leaking. I wasn't even aware of it. Got it repaired and I could tell the difference immediately. They were straight up honest with me and didn't hide anything when they informed me of the repairs, the cause, and whether or not I should repair the cause of the issue. They are now my go to mechanic for my vehicle.

I took my Ford Escape to Jess Transmission, to fix Transmission Leak..it was there a week, I got it back, it still leaked..they took care of that, still, now they said, it's where Transmission meets motor, they had to remove transmission to fix that leak..now, over $1362, paid, they tell me Tramsmission is going out..Experts? I DO NOT RECOMMAND TO ANYBODY..

They had to replace my transfer case twice due to the first one failing as I drove away from their shop they paid for the second tow and no charge for the repairs. As of now everything seems to be working great. Very nice people.

Took my chevy impala to them my driver seat motor going bad that wasn't the reason I took it there for some odd reason they got my recliner to go all the way to the back claiming it was like that when I brung it in and it wasn't I hate liers

I live out of town and I was looking for a place to have several repairs done to my son s car. I scheduled an appointment and dropped my car off the waiting area was extremely clean and inviting. They called me and told me what needed to be done and what the cost would be. The car was repaired at the the agreed upon price. I highly recommend them and will be using them in the future for car repair needs.Services: Exhaust, Steering & suspension repair, Oil change

I just wanted to give a shout-out to everyone at Jess Lewis Transmission for the excellent service that was preformed on our vehicle. From trouble shooting to repair and then to test drive and put it back on the lift to give it a final look over! Highly recommended! I had no reservations about driving down to the gulf coast, which was trouble free!! Give them a try, you won t be disappointed. If you are, speak up! Service like this is getting hard to find!! Jess Lewis always does a good job on my vehicles at a price I can afford. I am now in the process of having them fix something another mechanic did wrong. They know what they are doing. I just wanted to update my review and give Jess Lewis even more praise. They just fixed the oil pan on my Nitro and it resolved the issue for about 60 bucks. Everywhere else wanted to charge 800 dollars or more. If you need your vehicle fixed you NEED to come here. They won't do you wrong and seem to genuinely care about giving the highest quality work at the lowest possible price. UPDATE: Just had the alternator go out in the Nitro. Once again Jess Lewis saved my life. They had it back to me two days after the alternator started having problems and I am back on the road. And always at a good price.Another Update: I just got the ECM and starter changed on my Nitro and once again Jess Lewis did a stellar job at the lowest possible price without sacrificing quality of work. There really is no better place to take your vehicle in for a repair in fort Wayne.

DO NOT TRUST THESE SHADETREE MECHANICS WITH YOUR VEHICLES!!!Extremely unprofessional, the owner Danny will allow your vehicles to be vandalized and broken into while in their possession and they couldn't even be bothered to clean the broken glass out of my car. They began disassembling my car before i agreed to have it serviced. you'd expect your vehicle to be safe and a much higher quality of work. I will be taking my vehicles to Fort Wayne Transmissions in the future.Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance, Transmission repair

I would give a Zero star, if I could!These people had my truck for 3 weeks and the problem still IS NOT FIXED! They refused to answer my questions or give me any paperwork on what they did to my truck. The owner is RUDE and Mean!INCREDIBLY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!I DO NOT RECOMMENDService: Transmission

Dropped car off with complaints of lack of power slipping transmission and they said car is underpowered but no slipping and if I wanna pay to fix they will rebuild or replace the CVT TRANS but since it's warranty work they won't fix until it's completely broken or i pay to fix...how is it broken and you can fix if I'm paying but if warranty is paying its not broken ????? Save yourself the time ........your right I'm frustrated as I pay 150 a week for a car with known issues and lack of power you've found is comeing from where u wont say but i know ......the transmission not performing and doing what it should and for you to let a customer leave with those issues saying you found lack of power but isn't enough to summit to warranty ( hesitate to take off ...lack of power...slipping in higher gears with black and burnt fluid that was flushed 2 months ago but not enough to summit warranty??????? You stated car has lack of power aka an issue but warranty wont fix ??????and you still let it leave your shop knowing it's a cvt trans thats got 106k never flushed until 105kmiles after I told you I go to take off from stop sign and car gose then jerks back loses power then gose oh snap and grabs gears and finally gose jerking before shifting but again no issue....again my issue is you say you'll fix if I pay meaning there's a issue or more then one issue but there isn't enough issues for my warranty to fix ? Makes no sense and I got copy of paper work and my complaint is lack of power and guess what you guys found lack of power and dark trans fluid but no issues you can fix inless I pay out of pocket like make this make sense to me how I shouldn't be frustrated and let people know how my experience was with your business feel free to call me with any other questions and or to resolve this issueService: Transmission

My service van had a failed transmission, Lewis Transmission got my van up and running within a week. It was running great, but developed an issue changing into reverse and third after the transmission replacement. Gave them a call and took it back in. They troubleshooted the issue and determined it had a defective part and replaced in a timely manner. Great service, honest guys, terrific price for the work they did to get my van back on the road... we NEED more businesses like Lewis Transmission. Thanks guys!!!Service: Transmission

So after taking my car to another shop who charged me way too much to change the transmission fluid, they told me I needed a full transmission rebuild. Thinking I was about to drop a few thousand dollars, the guys at Jess Lewis had my car for a week and told me it was just a leak and fixed that without having to rebuild.They were all very professional and upfront which is not always the case with car repair shops.Thank you so much!Service: Transmission repair
