This is a great Business and the owners are awesome individuals! They are putting a new engine in my SUV and gave me a great deal on A Ford Edge. I suggest that if anyone needs any work done on their vehicle or may be looking for one That they contact Hometown Tire and Auto. I will get any and all of my repairs done here! Service shops all over repair cars everyday, everything going perfectly, leaving a happy customer. It's when things don't go quite the way they are supposed to go, how are you treated, that really matters. Hometown Auto is top notch not only repairing your car but doing it with heart and integrity.

I originally went to them because they were close to where i use to live on Rudisill Blvd, I don t like driving in Fort Wayne and they were close. I m glad I picked this business, they were great in 2016 and are great now! I blew up my engine and got quoted 3,000-4,000 at other businesses, but Jason took care of me and I only had to pay 2,800! I recommend them to my family and friends!

Tremendous gratitude to this shop and the management! I will never use any other shop from here on out! It's so hard to find a honest and genuine mechanic nowadays. Ive never been so happy with repairs on my work van. This shop definitely won my trust and loyalty!

if I could give this place 10 stars I would. I don't even know how to begin to say how great this place is. they always get my car fixed the right way the first time and the prices always surprise me in a good way. I don't know what I would do without them. I've never done business with a more honest establishment in my life im so greatful for all their speedy good honest work at a very reasonable price.

Came to this location directly from Google. I was a little skeptical about the location. Because I didn t live there and wasn t familiar with the place. I was staying with my sister for the holidays. My tire got real bad & needed a new tire. They literally we re very welcoming, the hospitality and the care they gave me was phenomenal, 10/10. They re very patient, listening and understanding. They also make sure they get the job done, in a fast-paced manner. I highly suggest you guys check them out & get your car right in order with care!!!!Thank you for taking care of me and other customers.

Five stars! The staff was very friendly and they were able to repair my vehicle after other auto shops were unable to do so. Completely trust them with my vehicle for future work and would recommend this business to others!

After many years of being scammed by different mechanic shops in Fort Wayne, Hometown Auto is like the answer to my prayers. Their work is always well done, they are always honest and totally upfront with me, their prices are beyond fair, and they guarantee their work. Latest example: another shop told me I needed front end work done $1495.00; Hometown said you don't need all that. We can fix for about $145.00 give or take. They have worked on my car, my daughter's car, and my granddaughter's car now. They don't just see a woman who "probably knows nothing; they see a customer/client.I highly recommend them!!!!!

I bought a used car here, and it started to have issues not very long after purchasing and I was stranded on the side of the road on more than one occasion, and had to get the car towed. I then took the car back to be fixed multiple times but kept having the same issue, always seemed like it was one thing after another. In the end, I just took it elsewhere to be fixed for less and have had no issues since it was fixed correctly. A total waste of time and money. Wish I could ve got as good of service as some of the other reviews seemed to have received. Not sure what happened here but I will definitely not be returning to this place under any circumstance.

Came in for a diagnose and they call me 4 hours later saying they fixed it and all they did was put a new valve port on ac line and re added refrigerant and charged me $200. Never signed anything for the work to be done. See ya in court!

Best and fairest mechanics in Fort Wayne. John always gets my Saturn aura in quick and done in the same day. He has saved me so much money compared to other mechanics, he fixed my ball joint and control arm for 350 compared to the 600 I was quoted at by other mechanic shops. Definitely recommend this mechanic shop above any other in Fort Wayne. They are always fair, honest, and nice people. 10/10

My company sends our delivery vehicles for basic and sometimes advanced maintenance. Within 2 weeks i dropped off our 5 vehicles and I even needed one towed there for a dead battery. Every vehicle was done within a day and ready to hit the road again. Even when there is an emergency, we can expect parts ordered and installed in no time. John is great at customer service and makes sure every vehicle is serviced quickly with high quality. I even started taking my personal vehicles in as well! Would recommend.

Jason and the rest of the team did a fantastic job working on my Subaru! Went in to get the clutch replaced, and Jason made me aware of other issues that needed taken care of and didn t give me the run around. Great prices and very quick work. When all was said and done Jason took me into the shop and showed me the condition of all of the old parts that they replaced, so I knew that everything got done and got done correctly. Would definitely recommend to anyone that needs cheap honest car repairs!

I've had several of my vehicles fixed here several times! They have even helped me with customization of a few of my work vehicles for work use! I've enjoyed their services and fair prices so much I keep their business cards on me at all times and refer people to them! Fast, Friendly, and cost affordable all at one stop!

AMAZING! From the delightful office manager Bonnie to the service manager John I felt valued and well taken care of. The mechanic Jason took time to carefully explain each needed repair and took me to my vehicle and showed me each item and what work needed to be done and what could wait for the future. As a woman, knowing that you are not being taken advantage of is a rare blessing these days. I found the work to be thorough and complete, and the attitude of each team member to be caring and professional. I will go back again for all my auto needs!!

Jason & John have done pre-purchase vehicle inspections for 4 vehicles and repaired a flat tire for me. I can't stress enough how refreshing it is to talk to these guys. They are honest and professional and well equipped to handle just about anything vehicle related. A 5 star rating isn't high enough for this operation. I highly recommend them for your auto need and even if you are looking for a used car! I have found a home to take my vehicles. Do not pass them up because this is a diamond in the rough. John and his team got me in and out on short notice. The diagnostic was accurate, the work done right the first time, and the price seemed in line. I was in a pinch, but they did not use that to gouge me. I'd recommend them.

Dropped off my car 10 days ago and never heard back. Tried calling and the phone is not in service. Stopped by and a sign on the door says closed - no power. I have no way of getting my keys back for my car.

My family and I are forever grateful for you guys!! we brought in our van on a Saturday, it was diagnosed with some major issues,.had the parts ordered and our van was fixed by Wednesday. they went above and beyond with the work they did. we cannot thank you enough, not having A.C. during this time of year was becoming unsafe for our child. we are now able to resume with life and leave as we please without having to schedule around hot weather!! thank you so so much. will defintley use you guys for any future services needed

We contacted them do work on our daughter's car. We explained it needed to be towed so I would contact someone to get it there. Hometown Auto recommended Pro-Tow and they work with them a lot so contacted them for the towing. We were quoted an amount of $50 and told they could pick it up first thing Friday morning. They even said we didn't have to pay when they picked up the car but could have the amount billed through Hometown Auto. We were so pleased with the quick response and ease of billing. However, it was short lived. When we picked up our daughter;s car the following day at Hometown, the bill for the towing was $60 and not the $50 we were quoted. When we questioned Hometown Auto, they said it was their agreement with Pro Tow, so we contacted Pro Tow and they would no longer confirm the original amount of the quote and said we would have to take it up with Hometown. It is only $10 but for my daughter, who is a college student, $10 is a lot. Especially since they charged her 64.95 to diagnose and then another $300 to fix it. It isn't the amount, it is the fact that they have deceived us. It is the principal of the situation and both were being defensive and deceptive. Unfortunately, due to their reluctance to admit to the "game' they were playing with the cost, we will no longer use either of them and I recommend no one else do so. If they are deceptive about a quoted tow bill, what else would they deceive us about. In the end, the owner of Hometown Auto was quite rude and disrespectful and said we could drive to get our $10 if it was such a big deal. I guess customer service, honesty, and moral business practices are not important to either of them. Very disappointed. We had previously used them to fix my husband's car and thought we had finally found someone we could count on for future repairs. We will be looking elsewhere.

Really upset to find out that I paid Hometown Tire and Auto Repair on Taylor st here in Ft. Wayne over 2,000 and they completely ripped me off.Do Not Take your vehicle there...the body shop that is now working on my car said that they did a hack job and possibly ruined the motor by not replacing any seals or gaskets and that it seems as if they reused old parts that were lying around in my car when I paid for new parts.

Worst auto repair experience ever!!! I initially took my car here about 3 months ago because my warranty company said they were good. They did a $1,500.00 timing chain repair and the car was fine, they also balanced the tires.Now fast forward 3 months I was having some shaking issues so took the car back to Hometown and they said it was the tires being out of balance lol so in 3 months they needed balanced again ? They also said my alternator was bad and replaced it. The total bill was $412.00, $40.00 for a balance when patriot does balances for $19.99. They said the alternator was $250.00 I called autozone and they had one for $150.00. Regardless of everything price is price but the car has the exact same shake and there isn't the smallest difference in the car. Place is a rip off and they don't seem to know what they are doing. Don't take your car here!

I've been their customer for some time, and I am quite satisfied. got vehicle for work and after adding more than 30K miles have had little problems. ware-and-tare. will keep going.

Picked me up. Dropped me off. New tires at a better price than the "discount" places. And they were friendlier too. My guy was Rich. No yea but, hey but, oh but's. Done and clean.

They made quick work of a punctured tire while I waited. $25 to fill a hole where a screw was. I appreciated their Saturday hours.
