My fianc� and I went to Grote automotive looking for a good reliable vehicle to get us to and from work, never did I expect for it to be possible for us to be able to get this nice of a truck, nicer then anything we have ever owned. And it wouldn t have been possible, but Justin made it happen! Now we have our dream truck! Our experience while we there was amazing! Everyone there was very welcoming, and friendly. Thanks to Justin and the team for working very hard and making it possible for us to leave with this beautiful truck the same day! We appreciate grote automotive, and definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a nice reliable vehicle!

We went to Grote Automotive to get a car for my daughter and grandson to use so she could get back and forth to work and take her son to do things. We already knew what car we wanted. Zach was fantastic through the whole process. From speaking on the phone during my initial contact to handing my keys back to me once everything was done, he was polite and ready to help. They got me in for an inspection on my new to me Outlander quicker than expected. I called at 1pm, they had it fully inspected and back in my possession by 5pm with a list of honest recommendations. I definitely plan to take my car back to them when I need service.Thanks again!

I was very pleased with my experience . My sales person Justin was absolutely wonderful and Brandon in finance went above and beyond. Great communication from both. I am in Missouri and purchased a brand new car, they helped tremendously with getting it shipped. From my experience I would definitely recommend.

I now have a car. The car is fine so far. Now that I ve had time to reflect on the buying process, I can say I would never come here again. Salesmen pushed their financing on me even though I told them I had financing already. They did not opt to tell me the interest rate they wanted to give me. They had not mentioned it was an as is sale until the very end. They crowded the room with an extra salesman that didn t need to be there to strong arm me into a price I refused to pay. Not to mention, the whole process took about 6-7 hours (1hour to show my mechanic). Unimpressed by these skeevy salesmen and their underhanded tactics. 2 stars because the car has driven 2 weeks with no critical issues.

I enjoyed talking with my salesman, he and I liked animals, dogs preferred. All around nice young man. Tried to really help me into something nice. Seemed to care about my situation enough to not let me leave unsatisfied. I gotta say my experience started out rocky and I was regretting my decision of buying my first car. But thankfully in the end Dan in financial and Patrick in service made sure that all was well. I m super happy with my purchase and love my new to me car! Also Randy my sales rep was good, he helped with find an insurance agent, even though it was well past closing and no insurance places were open.

I personally don t recommend coming to this location, very pushy. I understand that s how they have to make their money but they would get a lot further if they treated their customers like human beings instead of just a paycheck. They tried to have me sign a handwritten document on payments that were way out of the budget I had already mentioned several times, very unprofessional. The salesman attitude totally switched up when I respectfully told him I was unable to get a vehicle today. This place doesn t seem like it s for the people ..

This would be a 5 star experience because I am happy with my find. Proud new owner of a 2012 Kia Soul!However, we had a newer sales employee and we were misinformed about some things. We were told that the car would be filled up and taken to the car wash but we got in and the tank was at quarter tank. Also, we were told that car had a spare and it doesn't.I've called and left management two voice-mails and haven't received a call back. Not likely to be resolved. So-so experience.

It's taken my a couple of days to write this review because the experience I had at Grote was honestly a bit traumatizing. I went in being up front about my budget and that I did not want to buy a car that day, just to start looking. At first the salesman was very kind and eventually took me on a test drive in a car he said was in my price range. Once we got back to the dealership he asked if I wanted him to get me information on pricing just so I knew what to expect and I agreed. From there, he informed me that the car was more than double my budget and when I said so, he continued to increase the pressure. When I continued to get frustrated and kept saying no, he sent in his manager. After several times of saying no to the manager to the point I started crying and asking for my car keys back so I could go home, he sent in yet another man. While I was still crying and asking to be able to leave, he continued to tell me I just didn't understand. When I started to have a panic attack, he then asked me if I wanted to test drive other cars that might be cheaper. Only after I refused and continued to beg for my car keys back did the original salesman come back with my keys and try to hug me.It shouldn't take a woman crying and begging to leave for an hour to be given HER OWN KEYS back. I felt incredibly unsafe through this situation and am very concerned about the way women get treated here. No means no and it's upsetting that at least THREE men that work here don't understand that.

Grote Automotive is always a pleasure to have service done to our vehicle. Everyone is professional and courteous. I have never had service like this in all my years. This is the best place to buy a vehicle or have service done. Even if you just have an oil change they wash a sweep the car. Unbelievable service.

Courtesy check found underlying problems I wasn't aware of. Showed me what needs attention and what could wait. Wasn't pushy about repairs. My Sport looked brand new when I picked it up. Friendly and ProfessionalThanks for a Pleasant experience. Will have future work done at Grotes.

Hello, First I would like to say I was a returning client to the Grote Family. In 2014 I purchased a vehicle from them and never had an issue and even took all my other vehicles there for servicing as well.Now June of 2023 I decided I wanted something a little more flashier than my mini van, which was in great condition and had nothing wrong. I decided to trade it in, purely a want not a need.I purchased a 2019 GMC Acadia, upon the inspection I did and test drive I asked all the questions with the issues that these cars are none for as i have previously owned one, so i know that you have to maintain them to a "T".I was told by my sales man that this year in this make and model no longer had those issues and that it had a clean bill of health from the service inspection that Grote Service department did on it.I was told I could pick the car up two days after I purchased it and it ended up being 7 days later, I having to call multiple times to see if it was ready. Upon pick up of the vehicle I was told I had to bring it back on Friday to have more things repaired on it????? "questioned the clean bill of health in my head" .After driving it off the lot down coliseum and not even making it to 930 hwy the check engine light came on, i immediately called and informed them of this and then being told it could be any thing and it could go off might just be a fluck. Also, informed them of a hesitation of the car hard shift into second gear and they just ignored that comment.The so called appointment i was supposed to have had pre-scheduled by my sales man, was never on the books and had to be scheduled as they were completely unaware of the need of the appointment they said.I had been into this dealership multiple times to have things repaired, the check engine light has never gone off, it is one issue after another and now my transmission is going out.They did not offer me a extended warranty when I purchased, and state that I am now out of my 3 month warranty they offer, even though all these issues were reported to them in the three month time frame. They refuse to fix the vehicle on their cost.Also, Each department when I call to explain the situation tells me they cannot help me with my issue and keep referring me back and forth to one another, only for me to assume they hope I get tired and just go away.I do not see that this is an expense I should be responsible for as these issues should have been resolved prior to my purchase or when i reported them in my 3 month window. I do understand I purchased a used car, but at a $30,000 Plus sale and immediately having issues and going to need a new transmission in less than a year after purchase is unacceptable.I will never purchase another vehicle here nor refer anyone. Now I have to seek legal council, this has cost me time, money, and I have been stranded on the side of the road several times.Brandi Stone
