My truck needed a new transmission. It was covered under warranty, but had issues after I got it back. Took it back the shop that replaced the transmission, they had it for over 3 weeks and asked me to take it somewhere else for a second opinion. At my dad's recommendation, I took the truck here and they had it diagnosed and back to me within 48 hours at a very reasonable price. Nice people and easy to work with. Thank you!!

Alex and his team were great to work with. The price and time frame quoted were accurate. Communication was excellent. Price was as good as I could find. Warranty was better than anyone else. We have put about 700 miles on the CVT transmission that they put in. So far, no issues . They do charge quite a bit for paying with a credit card though.

Very pleased with the service provided. I ve had two vehicle s transmissions rebuilt by them with no issues!! On time and, ask him to look at something just to make sure it wasn t anything to do with the transmission, (which it wasn t) they had no problem with checking it out for me , even recommending what might be wrong. I went to Ft. Wayne Transmission Center on a recommendation. I talked to Alex before deciding to bring my truck in for the repairs. He was patient with all of my questions and explained things in detail. Rather than replacing, he rebuilt the original transmission. He gave me a price up front and didn't go over that price once the repairs were complete. Also, the rebuilt transmission has a 12 month, 12,000 mile warranty. It has been 3000 miles since the rebuild and zero issues. I highly recommend Alex and Ft. Wayne Transmission Center.

Russ Moore transmission told me I needed a total rebuild for over $2400. I got a second opinion with FW Transmission, and they did a smaller repair for $950. They completed the job WAY faster than anticipated as well.

Very honestly priced, with top notch quality!! They rebuilt my explorer transmission which had numerous issues, now it shifts like silk, and no more rattling, clunking, slipping, delayed and hard shifts, and the OD light is no longer on plus my cruise control even works now!! I called all the transmission shops in fort wayne and they had the best price, and quality, and they back there work with a warranty!! Thank you Fort Wayne Transmission!! By far the Best!!!

Called everywhere and they had the best price and a good warranty with everything included and upon arrival they were friendly and helpful and service was fast. My car drives like new again and I highly recommend them!

Dropped the car off the first time in August to get my transmission rebuilt and it was still having issues with the torque converter. Once I was able to drop it off again, there wasn't anything found with the visible eye so they replaced the part completely with a used one free of charge! Here's to hoping I don't break it again

Took my vehicle to Fort Wayne transmission to have the transmission checked out!!Alex, scanned the vehicle and took it for a test drive and spend about 25 minutes with me explaining what was going on with my vehicles transmission!! Alex explain things well to a non-mechanic like me and was honest and friendly! I highly recommend Fort Wayne transmission!

I have taken my car in twice. They didnt fully fix the problem the first time so i had to bring it back so they coukd fix it correctly. Everytime i get my car back something is broken on it first was my windshield nl them my headlight was busted out. Dont ever take your car here. Honest place. I was told at another shop(import doctors) that I needed a new transmission. They gave me quotes on used and rebuilt transmissions. Took my car here and they said there was an engine code on the computer for a Knock sensor/circuit. ( I didn't have a check engine light showing) They said I needed to address that first before they could accurately diagnose the problem, and to take the car to an engine shop. No charge for anything.After replacing the knock sensors and wiring, the transmission works great!

Went in to get work van looked at. No park. 2 weeks out. Went to leave ,and a gentleman followed me out and fixed my van in 5 minutes.Thank you so much!!Still working fine

Son was in an accident which chumped his transmission. Everyone lined up to hose us except FW Transmission. No hassle, fast quote that was very reasonably priced and the work was done exactly when they said it would be with no surprises. Top notch people you can actually trust.

Had vehicle towed there. Said would take 2-3 weeks. Took 9 weeks. 5 months later it just left there and didn't fix the shake that wasn't there when I took it in

We took are jeep here cause are transmission went out and they treated us very good it was done a few days before they had told us it would of been done now are jeep is driving great again so definitely come and check these guys out they are worth it thanks guys

This place will change the customer over 11 dollars to use a debit card or credit card.And does not tell you up front until you get there.Not happy with these guys.Had to replace a transmission twiceHOPEFULLY this one will work.
