Had both of our vehicles serviced at Ed's Car Care Center the last two weeks. As always, the service was prompt, professional, and perfect. It's also always personable. You will not meet a friendlier, more knowledgeable staff than at Ed's.Brian, the owner, has built a brand-new service department add on and a wonderful and very comfortable customer lounge. I give them five stars every time our vehicles are serviced there.

HONEST, THOROUGH, FRIENDLY, PROMPT!I would recommend Ed's to everyone I know. They are possibly the most thorough and honest shop I have used. If you own a BMW (or any other make, I'm sure) Ed's will do better service than BMW themselves and at a more fair price. Clean waiting room, friendly staff, and very communicative.

Comfortably waited in a clean customer waiting room with WIFI, candy, a bottle of water, and coffee at hand if I wanted some. I had an informative conversation about transmissions as the work was done quickly at the price quoted. Helpful counter folks who made sure I was well served. A very good experience!

I bought a 2009 MB SLK 300 and found Ed's works on these cars. They provided a ride home for me. But the real satisfaction was leaving knowing they care and really did a great job. Thanks Ed's

I brought my Avalanche to Brian at Ed s Car Center looking for a auto shop that wouldn t take advantage of me. I lost my previous mechanic due to their retirement and have been looking for a place that wouldn t find EXTRA things to do to my truck. Brian and his team walked me through the experience and I felt my truck was in good hands. The cost of the service was much cheaper than the estimated cost at other auto shops. I love my Avalanche and have moved my son and daughter many times and have started on my grandkids. Thank you Brian and Ed s Auto Care Center!

Edit: I have added a star because after leaving the original review they reached out to make it right. Make sure to double check pricing and correct oil when scheduling your service.I've been going to Berger Auto for years but since McMahon purchased them and raised pricing I wanted to try to find someone else for my service needs. My experience with Ed's was a major disappointment. I had an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation at 10am. It wasn't finished until 11:15. This is an extremely long amount of time for this service. Without an appointment I would totally understand, but not with a scheduled appointment. The second issue was pricing. $85.49 with a $10 off coupon is way over market price for this service. Even McMahon is cheaper than this after raising pricing over Berger. The third, and reason I will not be returning, is they used the completely wrong oil. My car requires 0w20 full synthetic. The oil change was done with 5w30 semi-synthetic. This is haphazard to the point of neglectful service. I believe this should warrant checking the knowledge of techs and why they believed a semi-synthetic oil was acceptable in this instance. I was a mechanic for over a decade of my life and I would have been ashamed to handle a customer in this manner. I wish you luck and will continue to try to find a good service center.

I had a great experience with Ed's I brought them a medium duty truck (probably not their usual ) they knocked it out of the park. Bryant the lead mechanic on the job was very knowledgeable and very trust worthy through all of the repair work completed. Took a car to Ed s for the second time for them to replace my brakes that the dealership stated I urgently needed at my last oil change. After inspecting the vehicle, they called me & stated there was still life in the brakes & nothing needed done. While they could have just went ahead & did what I brought the car in for in order to make more money, they instead called me & truthfully told me it was unnecessary. Both times I ve taken a car there I have left impressed with the professionalism, honestly, and care for the customer that Ed s provides. I will no longer be taking my cars to the dealership for regular service & repairs. I will now go to Ed s every time!

I highly recommend Ed s Car Care. They will listen and provide positive feedback. As a woman, I appreciate their sincerity and honesty. They provide information about any needed future updates. No pressure but keeps you aware of what will need to be done in the future. For instance, I have a small oil leak. Nothing major yet but wanted me aware so I have time to budget accordingly to take care of it at a later time. I went to them for an oil change. I appreciate the heads up. Standing still is a slow way to die.Service: Oil change

Ed's Car care center helped me in my hour of need. I was in a pickle and they simply re-attached a piece of my Corolla's rear bumper cover, free of charge, on the spot, when I asked for an estimate. Take your vehicle here! I recently took my Honda Pilot here and I could not be more pleased. I am now a new customer, I know I can take my other vehicles here and I will suggest to others the same. I decided to call them based off their great reviews and I'm glad I did! I highly recommend. Great customer service, and they are very trustworthy. I am very appreciative of that.

GREAT, HONEST, FRIENDLY, local shop! The staff was very professional, extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy! You are greeted with a smile right when you walk in the door, offered coffee or water in their free wifi lobby, and always informed about what is being done with your vehicle! I will be back! We have had all 4 of our vehicles maintained at Ed's for many years. Never left a review because every aspect of there service has been prefect. Justin and Eric in customer service will take good care of you. They and the technicians really know there trade and they can explain it to the customer. This was my first time going to Ed's and I had a fantastic experience. Justin was incredibly informative, friendly and helpful in aiding me with questions I had on my wife's car. They got the car in a day earlier than originally scheduled and also knocked the price down since the labor didn't take as long. I am extremely pleased and plan on returning in the future. The manager Chase was also very personable and professional as well. I could not recommend this place more for your Auto Needs

Ed s is fantastic. Best communication I ve ever had with a mechanic. Plus they work on hybrids, which is often difficult to find. In the end they finished my repair under their initial estimate. Couldn t recommend them more.

When I had my Jeep Liberty your business was SO great for a vehicle that was pretty quirky with issues. I loved it but it just wasn't sustainable to keep it!I got my Prius in 2012 and once the warranty ran out I knew I'd be back at Ed's!I appreciate how you explain what you've done and what needs to be done so that I can make good decisions and fit it into my budget.I've recommended your company MANY times in the last 15+ years.Service: General repairs & maintenance

If I could give less I would. This is not an honest car company. They over promised and under derived and charged an enormous amount to not actually fix the problem. Do not take your car here.

I always take my car to Ed s Car Care! Recently, my car started making a weird noise. They got me in and called me right away to let me know what was wrong with it. They explained everything in detail so I could understand my options. My car was fixed the next day, sooner than expected. They provide great customer service and never make you feel pressured. So happy we ended up at Ed's. If you drive an Audi this is the place!! (I'm sure for all makes but it is hard to find an awesome Audi mechanic outside the dealerships. Here it is.) They even ran diagnostics to make sure I wasn't replacing parts that were not necessary. They checked over EVERYTHING. We would give 10 Stars!! Thank you so much for helping our family. Ladies... call Chase. He never even laughed at me when I told him what was wrong. You know we describe it a little different than men. He gets us!! And they designed a plan to help keep our Audi in top shape running her best!! Excellent communication & customer service.

I've been searching for a good mechanic in Fort Wayne for years and I think I finally found one. Chase kept me updated at every step of the way, letting me know what the concerns were and why they were concerns. He even provided some pricing on repairs before they went ahead and gave me time to think before giving the go ahead. Everyone there, from the front desk staff to the mechanics themselves, was friendly and personable. Best of all, my dashboard no longer lights up like a Christmas tree! If you're looking for an honest, reliable, friendly mechanic service, look no further.
