Chips Auto definitely deserves their A+ BBB standing and high Google reviews! After my stepfather passed away, I never thought I d find another honest mechanic but Chip and his crew fill the role. From the initial phone call to driving away with a fixed car, Chips Auto was knowledgeable, efficient, fairly priced and treated me with such kindness. I highly recommend Chip and his company.

I took my car in to Chip's. It was something electronic. They were very thorough and explained everything about what I need to do. I appreciate their honesty. The staff are all very friendly and personable. If you want to take your car someplace where they do great work and are honest people. Take your car to Chips.

We come from Fort Wayne any time we need anything done to our cars. Chips is very experienced, honest, and has never ever quoted us an unreasonable price. Super fast and quality work ALWAYS. I m so sad that we live across the country now away from our favorite mechanics!

Amazing customer service! I called in late afternoon and he told me he could get it in the very next day. They diagnosed the problem and gave us an estimate, The total bill was no more than the estimate that he gave us. Very pleased to have a honest and affordable mechanical shop so close. Thank you so much!!

My vehicle went down yesterday. I had it in this morning on short notice, they fixed it in 1 hour. Dealership wanted to charge me $400. Chips charged me $90 I brought my own parts.

I've been to several decent auto mechanics for the past 40 years. None, in my experience, has matched Chip's in expert diagnosis and efficient repairs. Chip's is in demand because of loyal customers. If you are a loyal customer, and you want a mechanic on your side, Chip's is for you, literally!

I've used Chip now for a number of years and he never disappoints. If he tells me something I can bank on it being right. He catches things others have missed and his quoted price is always spot on or less and he gives much more than you pay for. He has literally saved me hundreds of dollar and his work is perfect every time. I've dealt with a lot of mechanics in my almost 70 years of life and by far he is the very best of the best!!!

You will not find a more honest, trustworthy mechanic in Fort Wayne. This shop is quick, reliable and stands by their work. My whole family uses this shop and wouldn't take our vehicles anywhere else for work to be done. I have gone to Chip for years since he worked out of his garage at his house. He can work on any make or model and is honest and always fair priced. Finding a fair priced and trustworthy mechanic is not easy and when you find one like Chip you stick with them. I highly recommend!

Unbelievable service from start to finish! I own a small business and when my vehicle broke down I wasn't sure what was gonna happen. Called Chips and within a short amount of time the vehicle was picked up and repaired in a matter of days. I should mention this was a major repair and the cost was extremely competitive to say the least. Thank you chip's auto repair!!

Quality service and pricing. Available 2 year national warranty makes them a better deal than most chains. Chip is an outstanding guy that has taken care of multiple vehicles for me.

I'm from Michigan and was out of state working at a local plant on on a three day repair visit. After leaving the plant on the second night, my truck died in the left turning lane at an intersection in the dark. I had to call a tow truck and find out where to have my truck taken. This was not a good feeling being stuck out of state and in the middle of an intersection. Well, as google reported, Chips's auto repair was only a mile or two around the corner. Chips was closed but I had my truck towed there and left it in the parking lot with a piece of paper stuck on on the windshield with contact information. The next moring I took an Uber from the hotel and stopped by Chip's at 8:00 in the morning. The staff was very friendly and told me they would call me later that day. Sure enough I received a call around 1:00 PM that they relaced the alternator and belt. I was told that it was ready! Chip, moved my truck in line of his repair schedule to help me out! There's alot of movies that show out of state people getting gouged by local repair shops while traveling. I'm happy to report, that is not the case with Chip. The repair was fast, courteous and exactly the amount that I would expect for the repair. Thank you Chip for helping a traveler in need. It is now a couple weeks later and my truck is running fine, so it was fixed, right.

One of the best mechanics in Fort Wayne. I would recommend everyone to go there. If you re going to a different mechanic shop it s probably gonna be done wrong go a chips auto repair he ll get you right

Had a no start problem on my pickup. Replaced starter at another shop in Bluffton a year ago for same issue. 2 days later problem was back. Problem was intermittent. Replaced selonid (self) 8 months ago. 2 days later problem was back and still intermittent. With the moisture we've had it finally just quit starting. Called Chips around 10:30 am had it towed around noon and by 2:30pm he had it fixed. Cable end to starter had poor crimp that shop in Bluffton a year ago missed. Cheap repair. I'll keep giving him my business. Fast, accurate, and affordable.

Probably the most honest and upfront mechanic shop in Fort Wayne. Repair abilities of the shop are top-notch and they stand behind their work 100%. A rare quality in a mechanic shop these days.
