I don t normally leave reviews, but with Schindler s, I felt compelled to do so because they are phenomenal. Normally trying to find an automotive repair company that you can trust is very frustrating. but we found it with Schindler s. We have been so happy with our experience there. They are honest, reliable, and their prices are reasonable. it is such a breath of fresh air to find a place where you feel comfortable bringing your car in. This will be the place from here on out that we take our car in for repair. They treated us so kind and explained everything thoroughly And we were so happy with our repair. We will surely recommend Schindler s to family and friends.

I haven't visited Schindler's in awhile, but I caught a string of bad luck over Thanksgiving break. I loved the ease of scheduling an appointment online, and was so grateful for the quick turn around with my Jeep. The technician that was over my Jeep offered to call my husband for me, and explain what was going on (I was going to call him and run things by him first before giving the shop the go ahead); had a couple of cool keychains on my key ring. The biggest treat of all was the goodies they left in my vehicle for when I picked it up. I absolutely love this kindof personalized service, and I'm so so proud to have an establishment like theirs in our community. Thank you Thank you! Car troubles are rough anyways, but around the holidays left me truly feeling sick.

Took my car here this morning due to engine misfire. They kept me in the loop with everything they came across. Had my car back the same day, and running better than it has been. Good turn around time, and good pricing. Will definitely be back with any issues, Joe is sweet and explained and showed faulty parts. highly recommend!!

These guys are great. My family and I have been taking our cars/trucks to Schindler's for as long as I can remember. They take great care of you and your vehicle. Great local business.

Great company, always honest and offer a very competitive price for the service. We have used them for years and even the few times we had an issue they made it right with no issues. Also the cookies are really good!

There is no other place to go to have your vehicle worked on. Joe and his dad are the most ethical and trustworthy mechanics around. Why do you think it takes a week or more for them to get you scheduled sometimes? It is because everyone knows it and they keep going back for their mechanical needs. Their service is excellent, outstanding, and honest. If you need any INFO about any mechanical needs, just ask them.

Got us in quickly for a repair. Had a nice little gift bag in the car with all kinds of handy stuff to keep in the car. We will definitely use again....hoping not soon though.

Needed brake work on my RV. Its difficult to find quality work for RVs due to their size. Garages must work outside to complete work. Schindler's had no problem and completed work dodging rain showers. Would highly recommend.

Great auto repair shop. These guys are very knowledgeable about vehicles and do a great job. Very good with older vehicles. We paid $65 to tow our truck in for repair, was very surprised when they called the next day to say it was fixed. Drove all the way over there for it to NOT be wired correctly. Waited with a baby while they worked to fix it. They then assured us it was indeed fixed. It died 2 times on the drive home, and barely made it up our drive. Husband called to ask why it was doing this after paying $225 to fix it and Joe got very rude on the phone. We DON T recommend this shady shop to anyone seeing as they can t even speak politely to someone who just paid them almost $230 for half a day s work Avoid this place.Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance

My car quit on me twice and ended up having to replace the fuel module and the fuel pump. They ran all the necessary diagnostic test to determine the problem each time and explained to me what was happening and what they were doing to fix it. Joe and all his mechanics are great!! They have taken care of all my mechanical needs through the years on the few vehicles I have had. Schindlers is a great place to get your car repaired. I have been taking my cars there for the last 19 years. They are knowledgeable, reasonable, and friendly. I took my 2011 Maxima ( I had it towed) for repair. Smoke from under the hood. I expected major repair was needed. Much to my surprise he found a wire that was loose and shorted out. He repaired it and charged only labor. He could have added parts to increase the bill but honest people don t do that. He will be my repair man for all our vehicles.Service: Engine repair

I had my truck towed here after breaking down on a road trip from VA to KS. Joe was FANTASTIC! Helped me get back on the road quickly with a brand new alternator. Have been using Schindler's since 1971 when I moved to Indiana. My older brother recommended them to me . When they work on you car or truck you know it's going to be done right. In all these years I have never had to bring my car back to have any repair done over My daughter had to have her car worked on and I told her * Schindler's is the one and only place to go". My boyfriend and I have used this shop three separate times in the past year, all for different types of repairs, different car brands and makes of wildly different types, and each time have had 0 issues. Not so happy with what used to be our preferred garage. Mucked up a brake job, had our car waiting there for a week (paid for a rental for the week $400). Technicians tightened some loose parts on the brakes, called it good. Not the case. My husband is currently waiting for another garage to fix bad ball joint and we've only had the car back two days. How did you guys not catch this? Was the car even test driven? Surely you would have noticed this major issue. We're really disappointed, we used to think the world of Schindler's. Unfortunately we'll be going elsewhere from now on.

These guys are great. They don't give you the run around they shoot straight, if something needs fixed they will tell you, if it doesn't they will tell you that too. I wouldn't take my vehicles to anyone else.
