My clutch went out in my truck on the Sunday got hauled their Monday was supposed to get it done at the end of the month. Couple people canceled their appointment. They got me in as fast as I could. I had my truck back no later than Thursday, I recommend going there again.

This place is the best. Needed new tires on my escalade and called. They were cheaper then the others I called for better tires. Amanda was great to deal with. Thanks to Derrick and the great team. Would recommend to anyone.

I had some issues with my brakes so I took it to a place local here in Corydon, IN. They were unable to fix my issue and told me that my car was just too new even though it s a 2006. It appears to me that there was a knowledge gap. When I call Faulkenburg for an appointment they were a few weeks out, good shops always are. So, I asked for a little advice on trying to fix my issue. And even though it probably cost him, he told me exactly how to fix my issue. I did as he instructed, and my brakes are working fine. If I ever need any auto service, this is exactly where I would go because above all things honesty and integrity are definitely something you want your mechanic.

I do lot of my own work, I am very picky about who I let under my hood. I trust these folks for everything else that I can't, or don't have time to do.

We took our truck to a Ford Dealer for an oil change since we live in Louisville, we were told that our back brakes were metal to metal and needed brakes and rotors replaced. We get an appointment (very quickly) for today. We received a call telling us that they checked it out and our brakes and rotors are fine! We expected to pay a service fee, but they said NO charge! Honest and trustworthy - and do great work at reasonable prices . Ford lost a customer, we ll be crossing the bridge for all of our car/truck repairs.Service: Auto brake replacement

They did excellent work. I have a trip coming up and had my vehicle inspected, alignment done, oil changed, and tires rotated. And before I left I mentioned something I forgot to get checked, and the guy at the desk guessed what might be causing it and quickly checked and fixed. As best as I can tell he fixed it. They have excellent professional and very knowledgeable people in the shop. Highly recommend. Had my wife's Prius checked at the dealer. They wanted to do over $3000 worth of work saying it was needed immediately. I took it to Faulkenburg for a 2nd opinion. They had the chance to sell me on the work but instead pointed out the inconsistentcied the Toyota dealer used. I went earlier today to get tires I had switched to the rims on my car. They were really nice & helpful. Originally I asked the place the tires were bought to do it. They told me it would take 5 hours & cost $250! Faulkenburg Automotive got me in & out in less than an hour. They also did it for of the price the other company wanted.

As always, the personnel were pleasant, knowledgeable, and accommodating. I stopped in for air in my tire due to my dashboard light appearing. They took the time to not only fill the tires but seek out the problem and fix it. In addition, they checked my brakes' condition when I mentioned a noise I had heard recently. I really appreciate the respect and general good feeling they extend to me whenever I bring my car in to them. They do good work with a top notch attitude! I don't want to take my car anywhere else.Highly Recommended!

I recently moved here and was leary of finding a new mechanic. I drove past Faulkenburg Automotive on a daily basis and they were always busy. I thought they must be doing something right to stay that busy. I tried them, and I was very satisfied. I ve been there now three or four times, for everything from a check engine light, oil change, air conditioning repair to a new car inspection. They keep appointments, offer me a ride home (I live close by), do good work, and don t charge exorbitant prices. I am pleased, and I will go back. These guys are great. I've been coming here for years and wouldn't go anywhere else. They are honest, knowledgeable, very personable and have very reasonable prices. It's easy to get an appointment when needed too.I know I'm getting the best service for my car here. Why go anywhere else?

This place is respectful, helpful and professional. They re a breathe of fresh air to deal with.. we had gone to a big name business beforehand and they had missed up my vehicle.. this business not only found the actual problem and corrected it quickly too. This is a highly recommend auto repair place. They were quick to get us in after a dealership wanted two arms and a leg to change pads and rotors, then they were nice enough to let us know the rotors we're still in spec and didn't need replaced like the dealership told us, saving us money. They also took care of a warranty issue with our fuel pump with no hassle. Definitely thee only repair place I will use.

Update11/21/21: I ve taken both cars in now each and have gotten excellent service done at a fair price on both. Got oil change and Replaced belt and pulleys on one for 300 . The other was only $71 synthetic oil change and replaced tire valve on flat tire.Excellent shopMy car was leaking coolant and I was not sure if it was the water pump or possibly a hose. I called and they said they wld take a look. So I had it towed there and they checked it out and gave me the bad news that the coolant had gotten into the oil in motor and cld try to fix but not gonna be a sure thing. I decided to tow it to Pull a Part. They didn t try to do unnecessary work and they did not charge me anything to diagnose the issue. I have found my new shop!

I am very pleased with the prompt and friendly service I receive when I am needing car repairs. It is very nice to have experienced and competent technicians working on my vehicle. TRUST is a big issue in our society and this is one local company you can count on.

Faulkenburg are the most honest mechanics I have ever worked with. They do great work, don t try to sell you and have excellent prices. I take all 3 of my families cars there.

It s hard to find an honest person there. I was given two different prices. One before I dropped it off and then after. They diagnosed my truck with just someone listening to it. The price went from $1,500 to $6,500 something. Then when I challenged him, the price went back down to $1,800. I doubt I ll ever go back to this place ever again.

So I drove to the Floyd Knob post office and realized my tire was almost flat. Not being familiar with the area I drove to the Sav A Step to try to get air in my tire. The air thingy was broke but the ladies inside assured me that there was a garage up the road and they would help me. So I went not knowing what to expect..I realized to my delight that they fix tires!!! Not just put air in them! LolThey were so efficient and it was quick and very reasonably priced. And as I waited to get the nail out of my tire and get it patched I watched them interact with other customers on the phone and in the garage.. all very knowledgeable and friendly!Thank you and now I know a place I can recommend to friends!

Great service, oil chance and tire rotation. Done within an hour or so when waiting for vehicle. They go the extra mile to keep customers informed if there is something unusual they discover. Straight shooter's. Good work.

Price was fair. Not cheap but no good mechanic is. My vehicle needed a lot of work around how rusty it is. It drives so much better now and is for sure quieter. My abs light came on afterwards (had no issues with it prior) but so goes when you take a vehicle apart. Sometimes other things creep up. It's wheelspeed sensor and will have to wait. Can't afford much more on this rusty thing for now. Service was great. Answered my calls and questions. They had a very clear plan of action and kept me informed of everyrthing, including the mishaps that were bound to happen. Not a lot of parking space. Kinda hidden at the side of the road. Overall, great place to go. Was worth the trip. Glad to have my SUV back, no longer leaning in the front, and running well. Best part is the muffler noise is much quieter!*update: found out the source of the abs light was actually several broken brake lines. Not sure why it happened after getting my original work done here, maybe from being lifted and worked on. Still, I highly recommend this place. My husband is now bringing his own car here for routine brake work.
