Went in on Thursday to discuss new rims for my truck. Had a great conversation with a sales associate. I was rushed for time, so he was going to email me some options to pick from. The next day, I called the store (had not received an email) to discuss the options. Someone else answered, so I asked to speak with him. He was on another call and would call me back as soon as he was free. It's been 2 days, and I still haven't heard back. I'm going to discount tires now.

Today was the first time visiting this store and all I can say is wow! The staff at Raben Tires are amazing! They are caring, helpful and very professional. This is the best experience I ve ever had getting tires.

This review is for Raben downtown Evansville location. I have had the pleasure of getting to know Noah, Kenny, and Bree. They have treated me very well and have taken really good care of my vehicles. I highly recommend the service team, as well as office team at Raben Downtown Evansville location.

I have to say this is one of the worst experiences that I have ever had with a tire/service company. I went in to have my tires rotated and told the front desk person (Kordell) to come and get me before the vehicle was taken in because my vehicle required a sequence before starting. Instead of doing this they joked in the front about my vehicle being unable to be started by the tech. Later then caused more problems for my vehicle because they decided to play a prank on the tech then listen to my instructions.

I would give them negative stars if I could. I went in to get 1 new tire under warranty replaced and It took them 3 hours, they cracked my rim and scratched and pried the front of my rim. They blamed the cracked rim on me. But if it was cracked it currently after replacement would not be leaking air like it is. Because it was not leaking before the work was done. The manager was a complete arrogant a$$ and the worker did not know what he was doing. I believe that if you make a mistake you should stand up and accept your mistakes. NOT THIS PLACE THEY WOULD NOT ADMIT FAULT. Avoid this place like the plague. And avoid their coffee maker it's gross!

I thought I needed new brakes due to some noise in the front. Went in and they told me that my brakes were good but that there was some squealing coming from the rotor when it's hot, but that it's safe and not to worry. It's always a good sign when you have mechanics who are honest, as they could have replaced my brakes without saying anything. I highly recommend them!

5-8-23 EDITED: They have replaced the cap at no charge. I haven't changed my rating because I think the original response - to blame the customer - was a poor way of handling the situation. It would have been different if it had been something we, as customers, touch often. When I stopped in to have the cap installed the employee even said the tech probably broke the clip that holds the cap on or didn't put it on at all.4-24-23 Not very happy at this point. Worst customer service and tech service I have experienced. When we bought my truck tires this location was locally owned. It has since been bought by Goodyear and the service has declined immensely. I went in for a tire rotation and now I am missing the lug nut cap on one of my wheels. We noticed it the day after having it at their shop. The manager said it wasn't their fault because it probably fell off while I was driving. He will have to talk to corporate. I drive this truck every day and have never had a cap just fall off until I had it in their shop. The tech obviously didn't put it on right, so how is this NOT their fault???

I always have my tires checked before I leave on a car trip. I trust the employees at Raben, so called and got in the same afternoon. While I waited they replaced two tires, checked fluids, etc., and explained all that they had done to ensure my safety. Thanks, Raben, Downtown Evansville!!

Raben always does quality service, very timely, and with reasonable cost. They always treat me with respect and give me options, rather than make you feel pressured to spend money. The staff are always courteous and knowledgeable, and do so with a smile. Highly recommend for your automotive needs!

WOW! What an amazing team. I had a low tire yesterday and saw they closed at 5:30. I was on my phone seeing what I could do and the team came out, put more air in my tire, and told me I could come back this morning. I came right as they opened and they immediately took my car back and my tire was plugged within an hour. Thank you so much to Dallas, James, Brandon, everyone at Raben. Such friendly and amazing technicians. I will be back each and every time I need work done. Thanks again!

Great service!! Clean, reliable. Great people to work with, worked with me on ordering the tires and wheels of my choice very helpful in explaining the detail of their tires and wheels. Great selection. I would definitely encourage Raben Tire/ Wheel City for your selection. Definitely a 5 star rating!!! Thanks to my salesperson Rick Baylor for a great job!!!!

I was thankful that I was informed of the price increase prior to work being performed.The driver that took me back to work was very friendly and courteous.My only critique would be there was no call to let me know my car was done - would had been appreciated.Got a call this last time to let me know the car was done. Critique is someone moved my seat back, I'm 6'3, that aren't that much taller. Also. They left trash in my car and there wasn't a paper floor mat to protect the interior.

I stopped by on a Saturday to get a tire checked out. Unfortunately the screw in it required the tire to be replaced. The gentlemen working that day got my spare on and a new tire ordered. It arrived quickly the following Monday and was put back on. I appreciate how quickly Raben took care of the issue

I've been going to Raben for years. I have the utmost respect for everyone that works there. They are the most honest people i know. I won't take my car anywhere else. I'd give them 1000 stars if it were an option.

I highly recommend Raben Tire Downtown location, I have been using their services for a few years. They are the best in my opinion.Rick Baylor and his team are outstanding and I have total trust in Raben. You are treated like family at Raben Downtown.If you are looking for a great place don t hesitate to visit them.

Unsatisfactory costumer service. Came inside to check in 4 people at counter and I had no greeting. They tried to reschedule the appointment I made a week ago so the "guy" can take lunch and then they tried to tell me the price was different than the quote I made online. 0/10 never againUndated on this: contacted DM Bryan McDaniel and he informed me there is a glitch in the system that is causing inaccurate quotes he will not honor the price nor address any of my issues. He did offer to look at my car himself which is really odd. I requested for my brake pads to be replaced and they told me they cannot only do brake pad replacements and that they have to look at the car and decide what the issues are before completing the job.

I purchased 4 new 80,000 mile tires. Although I am happy with the Goodyear tires, I was less than happy with the service. The quality of the tires is the reason I am giving 4 stars. It took a little over two hours for the new tires to be put on. There wasn t a check on the alignment during those two hours. So the car goes back on the lift for that service. Before they aligned the vehicle, I asked if that was always necessary when purchasing new tires. The explanation given to me was that Evansville is pot hole city. I found that to be a shallow explanation. To the credit of the desk worker, I was provided a printout of the alignment that was needed with my receipt.

I have been going to Raben Tire for tire and other auto needs for over 25 years since moving to Evansville, through three kids, a couple homes, numerous cars, two military deployments, expected events and many energencies. Raben and their service teams have never let us down. Paul in the downtown shop is the absolute best. If he can pass on his knack for customer service and thoughtfulness to all who work there, and if the high level of expertise of the Raben techs remains, Raben will get my business for the next 25 years! Thank you for always making me feel welcome and cared for. I highly recommend Rabin Tire.

In December I had bought tires I m Raben tire with the understanding that that entitles me to future free rotations and wheel balancing.I recently was in for a tire rotation and wheel balance and when I came to pick up my car I was told I had a $78 charge.Thankfully I questioned the charge and the front desk lady asked one of the sales associates about the charge and they were able to confirm that it was free with the tire rotation.

The staff was friendly and efficient and we have a great experience. I would have liked it if we had gotten the warranty/protection included with the tires instead of having to buy it separate. Our $800 tires cost over $1000 because of it. It was a bit pricey

The staff at the downtown location were very nice and accommodating to me. I called and they were able to squeeze me in for a last minute tire change. They kept me updated on what was going on so I wasn t sitting there just waiting. They also did not pressure me into any purchasing things I didn t need. It was a very nice experience.

The staff was extremely helpful and caring. I came in around 3:30PM, and they were able to fix my tire within half an hour at a super reasonable price. I will definitely be back should I need any auto help.

Cavin at Raben Tire was very helpful, informative, responsive, and courteous throughout the purchase of my tire and wheel package. He helped to find the exact wheels I was looking for my new vehicle. He noticed a slight imperfection on one of my new wheels and contacted the distributor for a replacement wheel even though the imperfection was barely noticeable.Very happy customer.Thanks Cavin and Raben Tire!

This is the best tire store in the Tri-State! I had a tire problem and wanted to replace all 4 tires on my MB GLE400. Raben did not have the tires in stock, but it took them 2 days and just as promised, one of their employees contacted me personally to let me know the tires were delivered and I was able to set up a time for installation. Service was done quickly and professionally. I certainly use them for my tire needs. I am a returning customer not 5 times!

I waited for 3 hours to have my tires and wheels replaced.Upon leaving I noticed my tire pressure still showed I had a flat tire, then called Raben. They advised me my tires didn t t have a sensor in them. I stated the pressure was accurate prior to having my tires and wheels replaced. The staff members response, I don t know, I guess you can bring it back.I spent 2400.00 dollars and the staff member incorrectly advised me that my tires didn t have sensors, and I waited for 3 hours and had an appointment.

I cannot recommend Raben enough! I have had my oil changed numerous places and those places have always tried to upsell me on oil or suggest that there is something drastically wrong with my car that needs fixing. Not here! They are always courteous and polite and have my car finished quickly!

Tod was excellent in his service. In today s time, Many vendors are more concerned about making money first. Many have forgotten that if you take care of the customer first, they will stay loyal and business will grow. I live over the bridge, in Kentucky. But I ve found a good business I can trust, so I don t mind the drive. Excellent Service!!
