I have a 2004 chevy avalanche and the transmission needed rebuilding, as well as a whole lot of other things. Got my truck in on a Wednesday, they called me Friday saying it was ready for pickup. Very quick turnaround in time for the start of the next work week!

There weren t any existing engine problems. The only time I had an engine problem was after YOUR transmission installation. You simply didn t want to mess with it, so you charged me $700 extra and sent me on my way. Let s be honest.

Time and time again customers put false information against Do It Right Transmission. Customers rarely put things in their reviews that are truthful while they are conducting business with Do It Right Transmission. Way too expensive. $120 an hour labor is absolutely insane. I was traveling from out of town and needed an alignment on my car but I m not paying that. I wanted to get it fixed but my mechanic which has been in business over 50 years charges $40 for a front end alignment and $80 for a four wheel alignment. I still had to pay at this place $60 just to have it checked. Not saying they didn t know how do the work or I didn t trust them to touch my car, I just wasn t going to pay that amount. I wouldn t return here.

This shop had my truck for almost 2 months. Went inside it 3 different time. Got the truck back unfixed with new issues and a 3500 dollar bill. After only 7 days from taking the truck back , my family and I nearly crashed on I71 North due to a lack of proper install on new steering parts. They did not install the cotter pin on my idler arm and the castle nut came off causing me to only have min steering while in a full turn on an off-ramp which resulted in even more damage to the steering system. The owner is a dishonest and should be avoided at all cost. Lie your way out of this one Kev.Service: Steering & suspension repair

They have worked on my car several times. I have always been pleased with their work. They never do anything to my vehicle without communicating with me first. Always get my vehicle back in a timely manner. They work with me within my budget. I find Kevin to be a honest businessman. And his staff is friendly and respectful.

I called around 0315 Thursday afternoon, having some transmission problems. Was able to get our van there close to 0430. By the time I left the shop to have the transmission fixed, I was given a loaner and someone was already working on pulling the transmission.The same evening, I was informed on the continued progress of the job.By 1pm the next day, Friday, the van was ready.Not only was the Service & Communication exceptional, but the Price was too!Thank you, thank you.

First of all they did a decent job on rebuilding my transmission and they were quick to but have to take it back for a second time because it was leaking actually still leaking a little bit. I'm going straight the point and this is why I'm writing this review because I lost a 5 galon gasoline container that was in my truck bed at the time when my truck was under their hands and when I call Jeremy he told me that they didn't lost anything an that they aren't going to pay for it.There for I'm not recommend them to other people because they aren't been responsible for their actions.

I've always had excellent service and quality work done here. You can't beat the warranties with Napa parts either. To all the negative reviews on here. There are thousands of parts that can cause a thousand different problems. Having to make a couple visits is just part of owning a car. Secondly, looking for the cheapest price and fastest repair leaves room for something to be over looked. If you trust these guys they'll fix it all, and the Napa warranty will cover the what if's.

Transmission failed within a month of driving the vehicle after they rebuilt it then proceeded to illegally put a lien on my vehicle when I would not pay them to pay several hundred dollar to find what they messed up on the rebuild that I did not agree to pay. You have been warned, they will scam you.

Do it right transmission always honest and does great work the only place in town that I have my vehicle taken to and worked on because he's always friendly on it and they know there's things they never cheat you and they're real good people so I suggest do anybody if you need your car worked on take it to do it right transmission office phone number the best in town

DON'T take your car here, totally DISHONEST and over priced! My car was having problems and we were thinking it might be the transmission ( worse case scenario). Took it here and they told me that it would need a whole new rebuilt transmission and wanted to charge me $3,300+ tax. I thought it seemed highed and wanted a second opinion. So took it to Mitchell Built transmission in Newburgh, and they were way more reasonable and had excellent customer service. But turns out after Mitchell looked at it I didn't even need a new transmission!!!!! just needed a new filter and to clean out the transmission fluid!! Was only hundred or so dollar fix!

7 months ago had my transmission rebuilt. Paid extra for a " beefed up" transmission. I have had 3 transmissions now that have not worked properly since the day they were installed. I was told originally that there is a problem with the truck, which i didnt think seemed logical so I sought an opinion from another transmission shop. 2 tranny shops and a ford diesel shop say that the transmission is faulty. Again this is the 3rd rebuild that I believe to be faulty. I will now ask DO IT RIGHT how they are going to MAKE IT RIGHT and i will post up a review with the resolution. At this point my preferred resolution is a refund for the transmission build. So far that has been denied.

Best two word description for these guys would be CON ARTISTS! Plenty of honest shops in Eville, stay away from this place. Rip me off once, lose my business forever! So tell me guys, was it worth it?

Had the transmission completely rebuilt. I noticed the transmission was leaking, a little out of warranty. Took the car to Mitchell transmissions and all the bolts for the pan were not even finger tight. Will never go back to Do It Right Transmission, recommend going to Mitchell transmissions.

Horrible customer service. I took it in and asked to repair the transmission. They charged me 1300 and I had to take it back 3 times then take it to amco. Owner seemed to be very dishonest and he wrote a quote for repairs totaling $2300 that amco said didn't need to be made. I would avoid at all cost.

car dealership failed to submit a warranty. took the vehicle to do it right transmission dropped it off Friday after noon and picked it back up tuesday.. recommended anyone with any typer questions to call or go ask them

Nice customer service that got the work done fast for us. It wasn't transmission work this time. But some other mechanical services or vehicles. Brought it in @ 3:30 & got it done on a Friday @ before 5:00!
