I bought a wiper arm puller, showed it to my friend who was helping me with the job, and he said it wouldn't fit. When I went to return it they told me they don't accept returns of tools. The next day I tried again and they gave me a gift card along with some rude comments.The same night, I also bought a caulk gun for $12 then found the same item for $4 at Harbor Freight. They would only give me a gift card for that as well.I think they should accept returns of new, unused items like virtually every other retail establishment. It wouldn't be any trouble to just restock the item. A quick visual inspection would confirm that these items haven't been handled. They had been in my possession for only an hour the first time I tried to return them, and like 16 hours the second time.I won't be giving this store my business again.

These are the nicest people at the Morgan Avenue East side location.I bought a used car for a daily driver.On the way home it started making a loud banging noise from the rear end.I got scared and pulled in and ask if someone could take a look at the car to maybe give me an idea if they thought it was safe to drive it home.A gentleman come out and looked under the car and drove it around parking lot.He give me some good advice and assured me in his opinion it would be ok.The noise had quit after I had stopped there and I made it home.I will take the car to my mechanic to figure out the problem hopefully.This is a prime example that good people still exist in this world.Thank you Advance Auto Parts.

We bought break pads from here online to pick up they gave us the wrong part and we had to drive back from Newburgh and the manager by the name of Johnny said there was nothing they could do for our troubles of driving back we will never shop with this place ever again they don t care if you have to drive back with grinding breaks when two people looked at our order before we got it home and checked it. It was our fault we didn t check it before we got home. Maybe if they would have done there job in the first place we wouldn t be doing this! Just poor customer service we will never shop here ever again or with any advance auto parts!!!!!

I had a great experience here. I went in to buy replacement wiper blades for my car because one flew off while I was driving in torrential rain on Thursday. We were easily able to find what we needed and the staff did offer to help, but finding what we needed was pretty easy. The very friendly clerk even volunteered to install them which I appreciated greatly. I will definitely return for future automotive-related purchases.

Excellent customer service.I walked in with a need for windshield wipers and walked out five minutes later with everything I needed. I dealt with Rob and he was super helpful. He did the looking up on the make and model of my vehicle, pointed out which wipers he would suggest, and then he installed the wipers for me. Awesome. He also made some suggestions on the windshield wiper fluid, which I bought two bottles of. Thanks.

Unknowlegded staff! I used to give them 5 star, older staff is gone probably retired. They knew what they were doing and had the knowledge. Its was most likely an >I don't know ... to all my questions.

Customer service sucks!!! One of the guys behind the counter ask if I needed help and when I told him my issue he began telling me how he had never worked on cars before but would try and figure out what I was talking about through the store computer. Just seems like that big of an outfit they would be hiring ppl with a little knowledge of cars/trucks, etc.

The service was spot on walked in the door instantly someone asked if I needed help! Was able to point out the product and walked me through on my rebate for the product. I was truly a happy customer when I left there establishment.

The online ordering is great. I know if it's in stock,price and they have it at the counter to go..sometimes their price is higher but the convenience outweighs it. The service has always been professional and helpful

Sold me a $300 part that ended up being unnecessary. When my husband called to ask about the testing they d used to determine that I needed the part, they hung up on him. 3 stars only because they were friendly to me.

They have a code reader that is a free service. If it's something you can repair yourself, they sell you the parts. If not you're going in to the repair shop a more informed consumer. Very helpful & friendly, especially since we didn't spend a dime. Will be back for all our future automotive needs.

I sent my wife to get a set of bolts for her battery terminal. I made the mistake of not giving her a specific part number, because the employee told her no such bolts existed. He then told her she needs to replace the whole terminal, which he offered to do for her. He bent the terminal trying to get it apart, which he failed at. He then tried to use a random bolt that they found in the store, but he didn t tighten it down tight enough so it wasn t getting a proper connection, so her car wouldn t start. He then tells her she has a bad battery, which I know isn t true because we just bought a new battery a few months ago. So he goes to get someone else, who shoved a strip of metal in between the terminal and post to create a jumper. I told her to just leave as soon as possible. I don t expect free mechanical work, but I ve never seen this the level of incompetence before.

None of the employees I saw wore masks. They helped me find the right light bulb for my car quickly, but they are not taking your safety seriously.

Employee David at Advanced Auto on Morgan Ave/Stockwell most definitely went above & beyond helping me to purchase the correct parts I needed. He even topped the above & beyond of customer service by helping, actually installing the bulb to my headlight & turn signal. It was one of the hottest days of the year. David is an asset to Advanced Auto!

I came into this store and told the guy what I was looking for and he said he didn't have it at his store but it was available at another location. He wrote the part # down and sent me on my way. When I got to the other store and gave them the part # I was told that it was NOT the part I needed and the part wouldnt even fit my car. Will not go back to this store.
