I noticed some issues with my car initially when I had chosen to take it to a certified GMC/chevy dealership. They couldn't find anything wrong with it. There was jerking and hard shifting among other things. I called AAMCO and spoke with Jeremy. My brother from Texas actually recommended the company. Jeremy was very communicative from the start and when I took my car in he and his team were able to figure out what was wrong. I needed a new transmission. Fast forward to today and I went to pick my car up and it's driving great. There was a lot of communication between me and Jeremy and the update of my vehicle and he was willing to work with me and kept me in the loop along the way. I am new to the area and to find some where like this to take my car is amazing. Thank you all for working with me.

Brought my GMC in and Jeremy took amazing care of me! Prompt diagnosis and amazing turn around time. Definitely recommend them for your auto service needs. In an ideal world, I won t need them ( ) but if I ever need car maintenance again, I will definitely be back!

Outstanding job by Mr. Jeremy. He was tasked with diagnosing an issue with our defroster. He was very patient and transparent through various questions that I had. He answered those questions honestly, and forthrightly so. I would highly recommend that people can trust Mr. Jeremy to give them the best advice a mechanic can offer. He has true love and passion for fixing things and making them right. He is also understanding of budgets and will work with you to find a good resolution. Can't say enough good things about AAMCO in Evansville and Mr. Jeremy.

It has been 1.5 years since I had my transmission on my 2013 Dodge Challenger rebuilt by Aamco. The fact that im leaving a review this late should tell you how bad of a job they did. Firstly, they had it for over two months when they promised a return of three weeks to a month. They also scratched the side door up and ran it into the curb on the front spoiler. It shifts awful in second gear and they gouged me for the price, promising to replace all of the synchros but only ended up replacing two because of "supply" issues after they had it torn apart. I had to take it to Evansville Auto Care to replace all of the transmission to engine bolts because they used English instead of metric and they were falling out. The most unprofessional auto shop I have ever dealt with. I haven't even put 5k miles on it and hate the car that I absolutely loved.

Jeremy and his staff were professional, courteous, and quick. We were traveling for business to Michigan and had issues with our water pump. Time was ticking and they efficiently replaced it, squeezing us into their schedule and got us back on track and on time to our event. Amazing business with a top notch staff. Thanks again Jeremy! I had an excellent experience with AAMCO and will happily recommend them to my family and friends. They literally saved me thousands of dollars by fixing my transmission instead of replacing it. I live on a tight budget and was able to finance the whole thing and back on the road in 2 days. AAMCO to the rescue!!

We called Jeremy at Aamco about our heat not working. We had it at another local shop numerous times but it never worked properly. He made sure he had the right person to fix it properly and even gave us a follow up call to check in! I can t say enough about the efficiency and kindness from this shop and staff. I had an issue with my transmission, wasn t sure how severe. I called them right when they opened Monday and they immediately knew what was up and how much of an easy fix it would be. Within 10 minutes a tow was there to transport my car to them and within hours it was fixed and back in action. I also got calls at every stage. Full transparency. It was great. This place is worth every penny and will get you squared away. Can t recommend them enough.

I had some issues with my vehicle accelerating properly on my way home from work. I called and spoke with Jeremy after the issue started and explained what was going on. He told me to bring it in and he will take a look at is. 14 months ago, they installed a new transmission for me in the same car and they did great work with great customer care. This time I had other issues that they found out what the problem was and got it fixed. They were very busy but were able to squeeze my car in the next day and I was able to get my car back to drive the following day. If you need any help, Jeremy is the guy who will definitely help get you fixed and out the door. Great job Jeremy and everyone else there at Aamco, you guys are great!!Service: Transmission

Jeremey was great and super helpful he explained what the problem was with me in depth, fixed the problem in a day for me, and even took me to work when I had to drop off my car! Would recommend to all my friends and would come back again if I ever have any more problems!!

I brought my in car after being told by a different company my transmission needed repairs. It ended up being a completely different (less expensive) issue. AAMCO had it disagnosed in less than a day, and then repaired in less than two days. Everyone I spoke with was professional, efficient, and kind. This is a great company. Jeremy and his team totally got us taken care of. After breaking down as an out of towner, Jeremy fully got us in and diagnosis in a timely manner, was up front and transparent on all costs, and keep us informed on the progress to help coordinate out of state pickup. I would 100% recommend to anyone looking for quality work in a timely manner by people who look beyond the situation to the actual people themselves. 5/5.Service: Transmission

We are so extremely satisfied with the work done the guys at AAMCO!! Our fusion hasn't driven this great in SEVERAL years. They fixed an issue that at least 2 mechanics missed. We recommend anyone take their vehicle there for diagnosing an issue as well as fixing. Theyre honest about the issues with you vehicle and honest about the parts prices and lavor. We don't feel comfortable taking our vehicles anywhere else from now on.

After many failed attempts to get my van back up and running properly, I finally took it in to Aamco. They took amazingly good care of my vehicle and of me. I really couldn't afford to do much and had been struggling with my warranty company to help. Not only was the customer service fantastic, but they were the only ones who could get my warranty company to say "lets do this". Jeremy at the desk was wonderful! He was completely upfront with me on everything he found.I highly recommend Aamco for your needs! Excellent place, customer service, manners, and mechanical work! I had an oil leak and luckily it was just the oil cap was not tightened securely after I got an oil change at another place. Jeremy called and told me the good news. The price was great. It could have been worse if my husband had not noticed the leak in the garage. I appreciate AAMCO for fixing the problem. I have used them before in the past and if I would need them again I will go back. Thanks

My transmission dumped fluid all over my driveway, so i called aamco and had the car towed to the shop. After almost 2 weeks of not hearing anything, I called to find out what the problem was, and was told that a plastic cap/plug had failed and it was going to cost $512.00 to fix it, so I told them to proceed with the repair.Another week goes by and I call again to find out if i can get my car back, and they tell me my transmission cooler is leaking and thats gonna cost about $700.00 to fix. Again I tell them to repair it, and was told the part would be ordered that week. Another 2 weeks goes by and I call again, just to find out they never ordered the part.Part gets there, and its yet another week before the car is worked on. Finally its done after 6 weeks and i pick up my car.On the way out the door, he tells me that my turbo is leaking, I had it into the VW dealership the week before I called aamco for new coilpacks, and an oil change. The car was detailed inside and out, and a 120 point inspection done, and no problems were found.Now on further inspection of the car, I find scrapes on both sides of the rear bumper, and my license plate is bent. The brake pedal falls nearly to the floor. Checking the oil in the car it was 2 quarts low. The inside of the car was covered with mud and disgusting.My car is a 2012 beetle turbo, (launch edition) only 600 were made so i take great care of the car. Never missed a service or oil change, 74k miles on the car so you know its not driven a lot, or hard.No broken parts were returned either, so I guess I just have to take their word for what the problem was.I do not recommend aamco for any car repairs.Service: Transmission

Jeremy took care of me. I was leaving town and needed my truck's transmission checked and serviced. Despite short notice, he and his techs got me finished ahead of time. Jeremy was extremely professional, very friendly and attentive. They were very busy and I see why. Thanks to all at AAMCO on Oak Grove Road. Definite high marks and recommendations.

My family was heading south to visit family when we lost power and broke down on the interstate in Evansville. They came and towed our van and put us as top priority to get us up and running again with a new alternator and battery. They worked quickly and gave us a courtesy call to be sure we made it to our destination with no problems! Great place with wonderful employees!Services: Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Battery

I dropped off a used vehicle that I had just purchased because I was having an issue where it sounded like the transmission was revving up for no reason while driving it. I asked them if they could take a look at that and see what the issue was, and also to check the entire vehicle over to see if there were any issues that I had not been made aware of.. they test drove the vehicle at first couldn t see the issue, they asked if I could take them on a test drive myself to see if I could show or explain what I was referring to so I did and it did show the issue I was hearing in filling. Their shop and ran their diagnostics on it while in the garage and while driving the vehicle, they took that information sent it into their headquarters for analysis on exactly what that meant.. they were told what to do to fix the situation. They did it. They test drove it again. They no longer seen the issue. They called me told me to come and pick it up. I ve driven it since and have had no more issues at all.. everyone I have dealt with from Jeremy to anyone else who works there have been extremely nice polite helpful couldn t have asked for a better experience if you re going to be having a car issue definitely the place to take it. They do a thorough job and diagnose and fix the issues the first time. I would definitely recommend them if you have any car issues at all. It s not just a transmission shop. It s a car care center.. my work happened to be covered by my warranty and it paid them in full. Jeremy took care of making all the phone calls doing all the paperwork with the warranty company. I didn t have to do a thing. Love it..Service: Transmission

Had transmission fluid service done here and everything went awesome from the moment I walked in the door. Everything was done with the right fluid and right parts. There's a reason why people say you get what you pay for in life. I am an AAMCO customer for life and will certainly be back. My only complaint which is a small one is that they charge a shop supplie fee that was $32 for my bill and they could have atleast wiped everything down after the job was done since I paid for the shop rags.Service: Transmission

We used AAMCO in Texas so I thought I'd try the Evansville location. We couldn't be more pleased with the service provided. Plus, we had a bit of an unexpected issue and they took care of us very quickly, and followed up with a call to make sure we were good to go. I have had 3 different jobs done by this AAMCO location. It is a very professional group that does good work. My wife's car has never run better. They are not the cheapest, nor are they the most expensive. If you want quality work done, I highly recommend calling Jeremy here and talking to him about what you need. Please note that you should put something down on your floor if you have carpets. These guys are mechanics with greasy floors and don't use paper mats. Communicate your expectations clearly and you will have an extremely positive experience with Jeremy and the crew at this AAMCO location.Dave is great too!
