The cutest coziest little bakery.Scones are out of this world, legitimately.Soft, fluffy on the inside, nice little crunch on the outside with icing drizzled on top. Wonderful selection of flavors. The scones are big like double the size of a regular scone.Friendliest workers and relaxing atmosphere. They really take care of you here and want to make sure you re enjoying the food and service which is ALWAYS top notch.Reminds me of southern hospitality. So thankful we have this place in Ellettsville!

This place is a yummy little treasure! I've been hearing about their scones and finally tried them for myself.Wow! Scones are one of the tastiest baked goods I've ever had, and I've had a few. Great atmosphere, it's just a cozy, comfortable place where you could meet friends for coffee, a snack or lunch and feel at home. The prices are great (honestly I think the prices are low, especially for the quality). The staff is friendly and the owner is the sweetest!I think I just found my new favorite place!

Very quick service, I waited less than 5 minutes. The owner was working the register, which was a nice surprise. I had told her I haven't been in since she opened. She was kind and let me take my time ordering. What I ordered: a blueberry scone. It's so soft, the blueberries tasted fresh and the icing is the perfect sweetness.Medium cold brew with oat milk and caramel. There wasn't a ton of ice, which means more coffee! The flavor wasn't too sweet or too bitter. And finally avocado toast, my weakness. The toast isn't overly toasted and the avocado is so smooth. The perfect breakfast treat for myself. Highly recommend and a chance to support a local business, rather than the big chain down the road.

I stop here at least once a week! The scones and coffee are delicious (they use Brown County Coffee! My fav!) but nothing holds a candle to their BLTA on sourdough with their housemade aoli. I m not kidding when I say I daydream about this sandwich it s top tier. Not to mention how wonderfully kind the owner Amy and her daughter McKenna (spelling? i tried!!) always are to me. They are the sweetest people. I love this place so much, and I can t recommend it enough! Go support this wonderful gem in Ellettsville, you won t regret it!

Small, local, and packed with flavor. The menu isn't the biggest but it doesn't need to be. My wife absolutely loves the BLTA. I love the breakfast sandwiches and the amazing biscuits and gravy. The real stars are the scones. I haven't tried them all yet, but every one I eat is the best baked good I've experienced. I always tell myself I'll save half for later, and I always know it's a lie. Eat here, you'll love it.

Rating: (5/5)The Caffeinated Cook in Elletsville is a gem that should not be missed. From the moment you step in, you are greeted with a warm, friendly, and well-staffed environment that sets the tone for an excellent dining experience. The service at The Caffeinated Cook is commendable. The staff is not just friendly but also attentive, ensuring that your needs are met promptly and with a smile. The place is well-staffed, meaning you won't have to strain your neck looking for someone to attend to you. This attentive and personal service adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the overall experience. The hot chocolate here is a revelation. Served piping hot, the depth of its rich, chocolatey flavor provides a comforting and indulgent treat. It's the perfect antidote to a cold day or just a fantastic way to start your morning. As for the main event, the biscuits and gravy are nothing short of spectacular. The biscuits are moist and fluffy, providing the perfect base to soak up the lavish, creamy sausage gravy. The gravy itself is a masterwork, with just a hint of spicy heat that adds a little kick without overpowering the other flavors. Each bite is a harmonious blend of comforting and tantalizing tastes. The pineapple coconut scone is a triumph in the world of baked goods. Soft, sweet, and served warm fresh from the oven, this scone melts in your mouth. The tropical flavors of pineapple and coconut blend together seamlessly and transport you to a sun-soaked island with every bite. It's a delightful end to a fantastic meal or a great accompaniment to their splendid hot chocolate. However, an important piece of advice - arrive early! These biscuits and gravy are in such high demand that once they've sold out, they won't be made again until the following morning. The early bird truly gets the worm or in this case, the deliciously spicy sausage gravy so plan your visit accordingly. This sought-after dish is worth setting the alarm a bit earlier. In conclusion, The Caffeinated Cook offers not just a meal, but an experience. It's a combination of friendly service, a homely environment, and most importantly, mouthwateringly good food that leaves a lasting impression. I highly recommend a visit to this charming establishment. You won't be disappointed.Vegetarian options: They have numerous baked goods.Dietary restrictions: They have a gluten free scone.

LOVE this place!!! Cozy and wonderful atmosphere with a wonderful staff who are all so nice and welcoming as soon as you walk in. Lots of menu options for breakfast and lunch and the sugar free Chai Latte was incredible. Also had a medium roast coffee and it was delicious. The turtle scone was to die for!! Can t wait to go back and try more of their items.

Best biscuits and gravy around! Only served on the weekends and you have to get here before 9:30am or they may run out, but if you are a late sleeper no worries everything on their menu is fantastic! Their homemade aioli they put on the sandwiches is out of this world! Even when they get busy their customer service is untouchable! Don t forget to try some of the baked goods!

The coffee was fine but nothing special. Would really have loved some espresso drinks. The savory pepperoni scone was good.I don t love the atmosphere. The menu is still handwritten and the space just seems largely incomplete.
