Great customer service. Clayton was super helpful with recommendations on the parts I needed. He even came out to my truck to make sure the air filter was going to be the right one. In the process he went ahead and installed the new one. Good guy.

Danny and Russell always take care of my vehicles. Whether I need parts or a diagnostic they are always on top of it. If they do not have it in the store (which they normally do) they will find it and get it to me ASAP or tell me how close it is. Always friendly and knowledgeable. Some of the guys that come and go have screwed my stuff up, but I know I can count on these two gentleman to know what they are doing. I highly recommend this store over Bloomington (3rd St) or Spencer. I've had issues at both of those stores and the customer service is nothing compared to Ellettsville.

I am basing this review on a single recent visit. I walked in and requested my battery tested. My car had been turning over slowly and I thought it could be related to the battery. The young man grabbed his tester and came out ti test it. He immediately commented that my battery looked new ( I had no idea - hadn't checked prior to going inside) but said he would test it anyway. He tested and my battery tested good. He mentioned a couple of things it could be and I was on my way. I rate this place five stars for my experience here. He was quick to help, rare nowadays. He could have tested and told me I needed a new battery and that not even be true, but he was honest. I am truly thankful for that. And he went on to tell me some things it might be.I don't go here often but this was a great experience.

Terrible service. Visited this location looking for help understanding the best tool for a job. Was given poor advice by a disinterested employee; needless to say the tool was not what I was looking for. When I came back to return the tool, the team working communicated that they would not return the tool and insinuated that I was an idiot for even trying. Would have been helpful to have at least communicated up front that they won't return anything, even if they're giving you bad advice from the start. Would strongly recommend visiting a different organization that is at least somewhat knowledgeable (or if nothing else, halfway courteous).

Always a great selection with knowledgeable staff there to help you choose what you need. Sometimes they even help you with your problem on your vehicle if it's an easy situation and you're unable to do it yourself. My hat's off to them they have helped me a few times and hour of need

I woke up yesterday to a dead battery in the cold weather. Got a jump start from a friend and headed to O' Reilly for a new battery. The staff was so helpful, I was on the road again with my battery fully installed within a half hour. I highly recommend!!! Thank you so much for your kindness and service!!!

Have used this place a few times for parts and have always been helped quickly. Got rotors today and Chris helped me and got what I asked for got them home and realized I gave him the number for the rear not front. Was able to get the fronts quickly as the trade went quickly by Shane. Would recommend.

Very informative staff, very helpful. They were short in stock of clips I needed, but ordered the shortage and had them the next day.I would recommend this place, especially for the ladies, they don't treat you like you don't know anything

I had a young man named Zack come out and he changed the fog light in my car I have a broken back and a 100% appreciate the young man for doing it thank you so much you guys are great there O'Reilly's for sure

Unlike the place in Bloomington where I live and went to first, they had everything I needed. Well stocked where the one closest to me was sold out. Friendly enough staff. In and out without any trouble.

Started having problems with my car over an hour and a half from home. We stopped at the Elletsville, IN store and I am so glad we did. My check engine light was on and blinking. Justin came out with the code reader and quickly figured out the problem. He explained the problem in terms that we could understand and walked us through the whole repair. We were not prepared, with the proper tools, for a roadside repair. Justin was so helpful and even let us use the necessary tools to make the repair ourselves. In a short time, we were back on the road. I can t thank O Reilly and Justin enough for helping us through a challenging situation.

I just wanted to give a shout out to Josh in Ellettsville, Indiana. Purchasing as well as putting on wiper blades may not seem like a big deal, but when you don't have anyone to help, it is so helpful. I am grateful for your service!

O Reilly employees Colby and Russell saved the day! I discovered my battery was on its last leg causing my car to not start properly. I ran into the store to get a battery expecting to put it in myself. They offered to put my battery in my car. Due the extensive corrosion, my battery terminal broke. Russell ran in, grabbed a package and fixed it for me right then. Made it to my daughter s track meet with 5 minutes to spare. Great service!

Fast, friendly, knowledgeable. Google's hours are wrong on Sunday. Opens at 0900.***WILL NEVER AGAIN ORDER FROM THEIR WEBSITE!!! APPEARS TO HAVE RECEIVED RETURNED/INCOMPLETE ITEMS. BRAKE ROTORS WERE WRAPPED AND REAR BRAKE PADS DID NOT COME WITH INCLUDED HARDWARE (AS INDICATED ON THEIR CERAMICS). IN-STORE GUYS HAD TO FIX THE ISSUE.Avoid this place!!!!!Update: June 23, returned defective part from web order to have the same parts delivered from another local store. Told the parts would arrive the next day after 1430/2:30 PM. I was being proactive and placed my vehicle on Jack stands and prepared for installation on returning home. Called on the 24th at 1330/1:30 PM to obtain delivery status and was told their truck had not arrived and likely held up due to on going construction after verifying information. I threw an empty backpack on and walked to the store only to find out the part never made it on the truck. The assistant manager waived off all responsibility and accountability after a full refund. Also, he wanted to argue the fact that I saved money from ordering online despite having to return the product... Which doesn't fix my brakes... No accountability... No common sense... Walked back home with my refund looking at other businesses to fix my brakes

The past few times I have been to O'Reilly 's I was either unable to purchase the items I needed for my truck or I was sold the wrong part due to the employees not knowing much about vehicles !! So with these past few visits I recommend going in knowing exactly what you need and not be a female !!

I am so sick of being treated like I know nothing because I'm a girl when I walk into this store. When I say I need a certain part, I don't need to be talked to slowly like I can't diagnose a problem. Trust me, at least I know my car is Japanese and not European.

I had to make four trips to two different O'Reilly stores because the staff did not know what the heck they were doing over 6 spark plugs that I prepaid for. I drive right past Pep Boys AutoZone and Advance Auto to get to O'Reilly's never again

I find what I need at a good price and usually get coupons for the auto parts I need. Nice friendly staff ready to help you get the right part. Store is clean and orderly.

Russell is the man!! Took my order at 9am and had parts in my hand at 2pm. Dynamite service. Will be back. The younger guy in the skinny jeans can go down to McDonald's. May be more in his skillset.

Older guys are more knowledgeable and know what you're talking about with vehicles... younger guys/ girls don't know common sense and are not so smart when looking up specific parts
