I wouldn't go There Fired the two best mechanics. The rude office lady knows nothing about mechanical work. The shop equipment is not up to Osha standards. They over charge people. This is not a place I recommend to get my vehicle worked on.

Excellent service all around. Came in for a pre-purchase inspection and it was one of the best experiences I ve had. Very reasonable prices, communicative,transparent. Highly recommend.

Today I took a vehicle to get inspected here before I purchased it. It was a great looking vehicle, the dealer had worked hard to cover the problems but thankfully the mechanic knew what to look for and saved me so much money on a vehicle that wasn t worth but $500. They had taken the time to point out the spots where the dealers tried to hide the problems. Rich had amazing customer service throughout the whole thing. Highly recommend.

Very honest shop. I had concerns with my brakes. They were able to get me in, did an inspection and did NOT try to talk me into services that aren't needed. I appreciate it significantly. Thank you so much. I'll be back

Jonie and Brandon are out-of-sight awesome!! They worked with us on drop off and pick up times. They did fabulous work all the way around. HIGHLY recommend these guys. Can't say enough good about them!!

I had a tire repair done there and just found out they used cheap lawn mower tire patches and now I have to have my tire replaced. Never mind the 1300$ I paid to have my gas pump replaced and it never was it was replaced with a off modle used pump!!! Run from this place they will rip you off! The new manager is as bad as the last one!

First of all this place has amazing customer service, when I called a lady named Nick answered the phone, she was beyond helpful! I had called a few places before that seemed like they didn t want to bother answering my questions. Her kindness truly sold me on coming to the shop. I was helped by the owner Bob and the mechanic Brandon. I ve never felt so comfortable at a auto service business before and they truly made me feel welcome. Brandon has been transparent with me about my car and has taken time to answer and questions thoroughly and either show or explain to me the problems. If you re having car troubles I fully recommend Tuffy s 10/10.

I really needed help with tune up on minivan I had just purchased. I got an appointment very quickly and that was great! Unfortunately, there seemed to be many "need to be done" services that seemed to me to be irrelevant to my immediate problem with misfire and running rough. Seemed almost as if I wasn't getting straight answers but circular talking. I got a tune up and needed new coil pack too. All " needs to be done" had to wait. I had already explained to the owner that I had just gotten out of ICU For near death infection & original minivan had a catastrophic failure driving to see my many specialists. On top of 2 kid's with autism, 1 with type 1 diabetes, and my youngest son with epilepsy & pediatric fistulizing Crohn's! I guess he still thought I could afford to pay a ton for unnecessary services this close to Christmas. They did do great work! Unfortunately the cost was very high. On top of feeling like they they didn't see me as person with a difficult medically complicated family but rather as a source of padding their sales before Christmas was a little to heartless for me

I was having several issues with my truck. Jose checked it out and told me exactly what was going on. He was very polite and informative. I thought I would be able to hold off a few weeks before having to get it fixed. Unfortunately 2 days later my truck was not drive able. I contacted Jake, he went above and beyond to help me get my truck in and fixed as soon as possible. I have never had a mechanic that cared so much about their customers and going out of their way to help them. These guys were great! I would definitely recommend Tuffy Tire & Auto Service Center. Thank you again Jake! I really appreciate all of your help! :)

Had a puddle of oil on my driveway and no jack to see where it was leaking from , on top of a very busy day. They got me in within an hour of calling and charged me 25 to see where it was coming from . Dave's auto repair told me 150 . Am beyond satisfied and will be returning for any needs in the future. (ended up being a puncture in the oil filter)

Had a great experience with Tom today, the manager at Tuffy.I've ran into some bad luck with totalling my vehicle a few weeks ago and then my rental breaking down on me which landed me over at Tuffy.I called the rental place a number of times letting them know what was going on. But to no avail. They never called me back.Needing a vehicle I thought I would go talk to the manger (Tom) at Tuffy face to face.By the time I got there he had all ready taken charge of the situation and ordered parts. A risk on his part.We talked and with the price being so reasonable and the service being outstanding I decided that I would just pay for the work and move on from this bad situation.I'm so thankful for Tom and the team at Tuffy for being fare and helping me out of a disaster.Had a great experience with fast service and somebody that is actually willing to get work done.Highly recommend Tuffy

I happened to think about getting the repairs done that i needed on my way home from work, so called them spontaneously, and they got me in there within 5 minutes of my arrival, and had exhaust work done, pipes and muffler replaced, in a very short amount of time. Quality work. When I got in my car to leave, it felt like a whole new car! Very friendly and polite staff, great communication, highly recommend!

We were having trouble from what we thought was our muffler for a few months, finally decided to head to Midas in Goshen to get it fixed. We had been there years earlier to get our muffler replaced. We didn't know that the place had closed. We always read reviews to check out businesses before we hire them. Tuffy was over the top with the best reviews, Tom introduced himself with a hand shake and ask us how he could help us. We sat in a comfortable waiting area while he checked out the car. In less then an hour it was fixed and and we let Tom know that we appreciate the fast service. I would highly recommend this team to anyone . Thanks Tom for all your help. Its actually rare these days to find a business where the customer is treated like an old friend. God Bless

I was very surprised when I stopped in at Tuffy for an estimate to replace the converter on my Jeep, that not only was the quote good but it could be serviced then. Tom and his crew have great customer skills and left me with a feeling of confidence that the job would be done right and on time. I am very pleased! Thanks again Tom.

We have taken several Vehicles here over the last five or six years and we have always been treated fairly and received good service. The staff has earned my continued business. Their prices are fair and their turnaround time is pretty quick.

Years ago I owned an old blue Chevy truck. Lived in the country and needed a side job done. Wanted dual exhaust and the cat cut off. One of the long time employees said they don't do that work because it's illegal. Told him what it was gonna be used for and he accepted me. He did everything I asked and did the best job I've seen done. Took it back a year later because rust on my truck destroyed one of his welds. He fixed it free of charge. Awesome old school workers. Shops just cannot compare to the great hospitality here and work. Whatever the price, they do the job right!

Paid $348.27 for a Body Control Module and waited four weeks to be told that the part wasn't available and that mine had been sent out to be rebuilt but couldn't be rebuilt so the same part was put back into my van. My vehicle wouldn't start when I picked it up and I was shown how to unplug the module and plug it back in when I needed to start the vehicle. I contacted the corporate office and was told that I would receive a refund. Just checked my account and they took another $348.27 from my account instead of issuing a refund. I have been dealing with this issue close to three months now and still do not have a vehicle that runs or the refund that I was promised plus I now have another $348.27 taken from me! Don't trust them with your vehicle or your money!

Any issue I have had with my car's they are the only place I trust Tom is very honest and doesn't try to sell you what you don't need. They are always quick to get it done and overall just excellent customer service. You can walk out knowing they are not trying to pull a fast one on you and as a woman that's been a concern but definitely do not have that here any questions or concerns are always answered and explained to where you don't need to be a mechanic to understand which is appreciated. I'd give them 20 stars if possible but settle for 5

Great Job on My vehicle. I took my car to Midas and Muffler Man and they couldn't even find the problem. Tuffy found it right away and fixed everything in one day. Price was reasonable I would highly recommend them to fix your car !

We're able to sneak in an oil change and tire to even when completely booked on a Saturday.Last year they replaced a rack and pinion late on a Saturday so I could drive to the UP next day.

I had an exhaust leak that I was told would be an expensive repair. I went to Tuffy at 5PM hoping they could look at it Ann setup an appointment for the repair. The Tuffy team did better than that; the inspected, explained the repair and performed the work . I was amazed at their speed and quality of their work. And the cost? I feel Tuffy is very price competitive and repaired only what was needed.

I have went to Tuffy's a few times with some major radiator problems. They were always so accommodating and very nice. They also discovered a problem with my brake rotor and did not think twice about going out of their way to fix it. Nic and Bob are very professional and I would recommend Tuffy's to anyone who likes receiving that small town courtesy that todays mechanic shops seemed to be missing!! A BIG thank you! Any time my vehicle has a problem I take it to Tuffy. I trust Tom to quote me a fair price and they can always get me right in. My expectations are consistently exceeded and I'm always happy with the service. I don't know much about cars, and I never feel misled or taken advantage of. I appreciate the crew at Tuffy!

I needed brakes done quickly as they suddenly were giving me trouble and I needed to travel out of town later this week. I stopped in at Tuffy's and was able to get in right away and they looked over the car and called promptly to give me a quote. When I questioned Tom about the job and why the calipers needed to be replaced he explained everything to me in layman's terms and very patiently. The car was done promptly, I was called and the warranty was explained to me. Tom was courteous and though it cost a little more than what I was prepared for I feel confident that it was a job well done and if not that it will be made right.

Called them for an "overheating" issue and they got us in right away...worked on the problem, which was NOT muffler related, and got us back on the road within just a couple hours! They seem to really care and go above and beyond normal customer service! Rates are great, and they certainly have earned my return business for all our vehicles! Thank you Tuffy Team @ 3703 South Main Street in Elkhart Indiana!!!

The staff at Tuffy were kind, friendly, knowledgeable and quick to repair my cars! They were able to repair two of my cars in one day. No one likes to have to deal with car problems, let alone dealing with two! I appreciate the care they provided for me.

I went in a Saturday and found them to be extremely busy. At first they politely deniedmy request for an oil change , but when I'd backed up and getting ready to pull out , oneof the gentlemen was standing at my window.He had said he was supposed to be on break , but could squeeze my truck in That's the service I got !!!From the time I got there to the end they were top notch. I wasn't aware they didn't take a check (after they had done the work in the horrid heat) and was beyond embarrassed. Again , being the classy men they were , were very patient as I figured out another means of payment.Thank you so much Ray and Juan !!!!

I had a driver Break Down In our Ford Cargo Van at 4:00 in the afternoon. I got a tow truck called and then I called Tuffy's to see if they could Look at it if I had I had it towed there. They assured me they could. Shortly after 5:00 I received a call from them asking if I was still coming. I assured them I was and the tow truck was just getting there. It was 5:30 by the time they got my van. They found the parts Charged me a fair price and my driver was back on the road by 7:30. Tuffy's closes at 6:00 and they stuck around. Our delivery was made on time and our customer had no idea we even broke down!!! Thanks So Much!!
