The guys here are great. Some shops you will feel like an idiot because you don't know as much about cars as they do, but north side has never made me feel that way. Thankfully both times I have had to visit them recently the problem was much smaller, and quicker to fix than believed. The costs seems reasonable as both problems were under $50 and took less than 1 hrs to complete. I am very glad we had a friend recommend them.

After a terrible visit to the local Toyota dealer and being pretty much irritated with there diagnosis and lack of the correct repair i felt it time to find another set of eyes. Looking at local searches they appeared and reviews were very impressive. Long story short - after spending $750 without a fix at Toyota and then quoted another $2000. I am very happy to say after $900 they fixed the issue and repaired the Toyota dealers damage. After getting the truck home it would not start and sent a truck over, repared it and did not charge for the tow. A totally/coincidental issue that had nothing to do with the original repair. Customer for life and i will tell everyone.

Appreciate this team. They took care of my heater core on my truck without any issues & took the time to explain additional issues that were present. My truck is back to normal & I'll definitely be returning to this location if another issue arises.

We stopped on a cross country trip with a warning light on. They were so friendly and quick to help. They looked over the car and luckily it was nothing! Then they topped off our fluids to make sure the rest of the trip went smoothly. Super nice!!

Had an issue with my car making a loud screeching sound and I found North Side Service Center when I did quick web search for a shop. I called and DJ said stop by and he will check it out. Despite being short staffed he worked my vehicle into the shop right away and was able to diagnose the issue quickly. He got me in and out in less than an hour. Could not have more more kind or helpful to an out of towner. Greatly appreciate him - we could use more people like him in the world!

I took my vehicle to this shop to have the alternator changed. And was informed that while the mechanic was attempting to change the alternator he Broke the radiator. I was then charged for the radiator repair to my vehicle. Customer service no longer exists, this company does damage to your property and benefits from it. I would advise individuals to seek their repair services somewhere else. Their service is completely below standards and should be investigated by the better business bureau. For which I plan on making a official complaint.Service: Engine repair

Dropped off two struts with springs to have the springs removed and installed on my new struts. Very friendly and efficient. They had them done in less than two hours. Thank you all at Northside Auto.

They're lightning fast and have decent prices. DJ kept me well informed. I recommend these guys to other people. My friend was with me and she was very impressed with their service. I keep going back to them for different things that need to be done bc I trust their work.

Fantastic experience. My car broke down halfway between Chicago & Toledo. Dan was great to work with and we decided an engine replacement was the best option. We left the car there and when we got home ordered a replacement engine and had it shipped to North Side. Dan handled everything perfectly, all via long distance. He even put up with our frequent phone calls checking on the status. Car is running great with no problems at all. Our local mechanic was very impressed with the job Dan and his team did.

Over 3 years Northside has done 3 alignments, a transmission flush, and a rear brake job. Every time the service has been top notch. Of the techs I have talked to they are they are knowledgeable car enthusiasts and have been very courteous and professional. I would not hesitate to take any of my cars here.

The bolts mounting & holding my alternator on broke. I had it towed to North Side Auto Center. After they had for 6 days they said be $900 to fix! said they had to drill out old bolts, retap, take out this and that to get to it, recharge air conditioner etc. I called around and had towed to Reynolds Auto Repair. within an hour they had it fixed! and only $107! they saved me almost $800! Obviously that's a huge difference! DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE!

They were fast and quick to find my chassis noise and fix it. The alignment tech. is very precise and has a lot of experience. The main tech also was able to find that a little valve went out and cost $70.00 to fix instead of almost $500.00 by another shop. They are AMAZING.

They were very professional! I didn t know much and they really tried to explain everything even called places to see if my car was under warranty and checked everything possible!! Had a western plow put on my 2019 GMC Sierra by Northside a couple of months ago. They said that I was the first install for them for this new truck so it took longer than anticipated. These guys nailed it! With the lower spoiler/bumper system on newer vehicles I was concerned how it would look after installed. You can barely tell there is a plow unit on my truck. I Highly recommend plow installs by these guys!!!!!

I brought my truck in to be worked on because my brakes weren t working, they got me in and out in the same day for a fair price too. The techs in the shop are efficient and very professional.

dan and his team have done many auto repairs for my cars and my trucks . there very knowledgeable and friendly . i have recommend north side auto to my friends and family. with the trust of knowing that they will be taken care of. as well.

Outstanding place couldn't be more happier with there customer service and repair job. If I could I would rate it 10 stars. Was driving from norfolk Virginia to Wisconsin and at 11 o'clock at night my passenger wheel bearings went out and took it to North side right when it open and was in and out in less than 2 hours back on my way to Wisconsin. Thank you guys very much!!

Shoddy work. Did "quick fixes" that ended up costing more and had to be taken back time and time again. Eventually switched to another mechanic and had to have entire transmission replaced.
