I recently used their service department to get my transmission checked, coolant flushed and refilled, and get my wiper fluid unclogged. They also had three recalls on parts for my vehicle. Upon picking up my vehicle they were only able to do the coolant work, we re not able to check the transmission due to it being sealed, did not fix the washer pump (they called saying it be an extra $300+ so I said no) and only completed 1/3 of the recalls. Our total for only the coolant being flushed was $487, we got charged two separate diagnostic fees of $165 for the jobs they couldn t do. After paying an arm and a leg for just a coolant flush and refill, I get about 5 minutes down the road end my engine over heated. The coolant overflow was completely empty.They did send a tow truck my way and were able to give me a rental for the time being.Edit: updated April 13After they went in and fixed the coolant, we discovered that my windshield wipers were no longer working. We assume that when they checked my wiper fluid, when they performed the recall on my vehicles software, or when my engine overheated something went wrong with the wiper blades. We called back only to be sent to voicemail 3 times. They said that they would have the manager call us back but he never did. We tried contacting them 3 days until we finally got a hold of the manager. They argued with my husband that if we brought it in and that if it wasn t their fault we would have to pay another $165 diagnostic fee.This place does not have great customer service, you basically pay for them to further damage your vehicle. I would be cautious of pricing as well as the quality of work being done.

Timothy Gardner did an exceptional job. He was very knowledgeable on the car that I was looking out. He made my first time buying a car process seamless and answered all my questions. I cannot speak to the sales team, but PLEASE do not use maintenance services here unless you have a pre-diagnosed issue. We came in to have a broken washer fluid pump checked, only to have them say the pump was broken but they did not have the part. This was followed by a $165 diagnostic charge, even though we were well aware of the issue.We also had concerns about a noisy transmission, but these issues were simply ignored due to the car having a lifetime transmission system, with no other explanation for the noise. Find somewhere else and don't get ripped off.Edit after reply from Lochmandy:Before I continue, I want to say that most of the people we have dealt with have been kind and as helpful as they can be. The issue is greedy and irrisponsible company policy.We have already spoken to Bob, although getting him to answer our follow up calls took three days and 10 missed calls. While he was kind and practical to deal with as an individual, he made it clear that there would not be a change in our charges or service for the above two issues. He did, however, help us with a third issue that arose, caused by the most frustrating part of our visit.The other service we received during this visit was for a coolant flush and change. After driving away with the vehicle, the engine overheated and had to be towed back to the dealership because there was not enough coolant put back into the vehicle after the flush. By that time the dealership had closed, so we had to wait another day to get the issue fixed properly. Despite this hassle, Bob told us that the best he could do is give us $82.50 of the $200+ coolant flush refunded. He was kind and understanding about presenting this to us, but that does not change the fact that this outcome as a company policy is anti-consumer and frankly unacceptable. Thank you for the reply, Lochmandy Motors.Additionally, our wipers are now not working, with the only real reason this could be happening being something going wrong in the inspection of the wiper pump (outside of a crazy coincidence). Bob says we can bring the car in to have this looked at, but if THEY FIND the issue to be unrelated to their mistake (which could easily be lied about) we will have to pay another $165 diagnostic fee. After we have had roughly a week of issues at this point, you would think Lochmandy would be willing to simply check their work without making the customer gamble for ANOTHER outrageous charge.$400+ of faulty service in and all they can do is find more ways to make you pay. Thank you for replying to my review, because I would honestly rate it lower if possible. Every day our experience gets worse, and I think it was important for me to update this review.

Dave Anderson was an amazing sales rep. He was 100% upfront and transparent of every detail. He answered all the questions I had throughout the entire process. He even showed me how to sign up for Factory incentives and got $1,000 bonus cash towards my deal. I highly recommend him as a sales rep if you are in the market for a new/used car. Incredible experience with Monica today. She was prompt and treated us as if we were family. Very patient, kind and honest with us during the whole process. She was on the ball through the whole process. We ve never seen a car salesman work so hard and made the process move so quickly! Highly recommend using Monica!

I have purchased two vehicles through Lochmandy. I was given a call on both cars (3 years apart) about them not receiving my down payments. First was $500 and second payment was $2000. Can you imagine the amount of people that they have scammed this way? I was not re-paying any down payment and they were able to locate the paper work. Shortly after making BOTH car purchases, BOTH salesmans no longer worked there. Earlier this year I was given the OK to place a memorial along side of their property, in memory of my boyfriend, who wrecked on their property. I have already purchased the memorial and I now I have recently been told that placing the memorial on their business property was no longer acceptable. If you have read to the end of this review; yes it is personal! Best of luck to ya!!

Monica was great in getting us into a Jeep Grand Cherokee! She was helpful and answered all our questions and was not pushing us into any sale. Would highly recommend! We stopped by near closing time with intentions to just look at a car we found online. Jeremy came outside to greet us and asked if we wanted to drive the car. It was 2 minutes to closing and was willing to stay late so we could don test drive. He took a deposit that night to hold the car since we were waiting on confirmation that ours had been totaled in an accident. He was a pleasure to work with and even helped us buy second key fob.

I just bought a beautiful Blazer from Jesse Branham! I LOVE IT! This is not my first purchase with him,I drive over an hour to buy from him with 2 jobs and 2 kids im busy and he knows that so helps anyway he can!So if thst dosnt say hes the salesman for you! It wont be my last! Not only did he except my extremely picky needs and budget, he understood that gas mileage and size of my suv was so important. So when I would stray and look at vehicles on the lot that didn't meet my needs he brought me back to the real world with his knowledge of what worked best for me! Even though I really wanted that tahoe I can't say enough great things about him and this location. Thanks for being so genuine Jesse

I bought a used car from this dealership, the car was priced at around $25,000 in December of 2021. Car had around 30,000 miles when purchased, after sitting down and looking over all the paperwork, once the term of the loan is complete in 2028 I ll end up paying over $49,000 for the car. So I m upside down in my loan, car is only worth $18,000. I will definitely never use this dealership again, they are a rip off. No wonder the salesman was nervous the day I bought the car, it was a quick sale and he knew he was getting a deal. I asked for a cheaper car, because I didn t want a long term loan, instead I end up paying more than a Mercedes! Thanks Guys I really appreciate it!

Incredible customer service and care given to us by Greg Slabach at the Lochmandy Elkhart dealership. He was kind, patient, and professional. We never felt pressured with Greg during our purchase. We took about 2 1/2 weeks of test driving, even test drove the same vehicles twice to make a sound decision for our family.
