Great experience here . Dalton was a ton of help and very patient with me while we drove around to different locations until I found a vehicle I was satisfied with . I told them what I needed and what I could afford and they made it happen and even followed up with me a few times to make sure I was still satisfied after a while. I d definitely do business with them again in the future though I don t think I ll need a new car for a long time :)

Abijah Goodwin was our Salesman and he ran his butt off for us and was the most considerate and respectful guy I ever had and I've had a lot.of cars. I'll be to gates .they had a lot to choose from and explain stuff step by step. I was Very HAPPY THANK YOU Abijah, you're a awesome honest.person. military boys go a long way..oh he even cleaned it and detailed it for me so I could get it.sooner

Omg where should I start? Jose was the best hands down. 1 phone call and he was on it. My experience with Jose was hassle-free and super fast. He listened to me and got the "ball rolling". I would recommend Gates and Jose to all my friends and family, they made my dreams come true. Thank you for taking the time to go above and beyond for me.6 stars if it would let me. Thanks again.

Dalton Arnold was super helpful. He asked me what I wanted in a car and pulled up with the perfect car for me. It had everything I wanted. He was very authentic and enjoyable to work with. I never felt like he was pushing me to buy. I went to Gates this week to pick up my car from service, never intending to trade it in for a new car. Dalton asked me if I d consider buying a car if he found the right car and price for me. Three hours later I was driving home with a new to me Ford Escape. Thank you for all your help Dalton and Gates team.

I had 2 found trucks online out my info in and Jose right away sent me a message he made the whole car buying process easy went out of his way and brought one of the trucks to a closer dealer for me to look at and had to take the truck in for some service but there service department also made the process easy and had my vehicle back within a day

Jose was great! He helped with both me and my sister s car and got us both exactly what we wanted. Service was amazing, made the process feel comfortable, quick, and easy. If you re looking to buy a car I definitely recommend Jose.

I bought my truck here about a year ago , and I'm a little slow on the review. I went looking for a particular truck, and they ended up having something better. I took a few days to do my research n ended up calling back. Andrew went above n beyond to help me with the whole process. It was fast and easier than I thought it would be. If I'm ever in the market or know someone who needs a quality vehicle, I would highly recommend the team at Gates of Elkhart. I also get everything I would like done to my truck through this friendly n family oriented place. Thank you guys for all your hard work to get me into my most favorite truck ever. Worst lazy sales person I ve ever met. Told me they did not have cars that met my criteria. I had made an appointment. The management did reach back out and apologized. However, I moved on and worked with another sales person in south bend that was great! Unfortunately, I purchased a car from a dealership out of the area.

I've bought a few cars from Gates. They always seem to go out of the way to get you the car you want or need. My first time at Gates Elkhart I had the pleasure of working with Jose as my salesperson and Andy as my finance guy. Both of them were very professional while also being super likable. I would never hesitate to recommend someone looking to buy a car to go to gates Elkhart and have Jose and Andy help them out.

The cars were nice. The guys were sweet talkers. They told yes we can get a car loan! I said do I need a cosigner how much do need down all the right questions. 2 hours later they told me I needed a cosigner or more money. Bit the sweet talker I talked to said his box said I didnt!!! So maybe I should change them for having wait and being told no!! I get you have to make a living but you don't need to waste my time and lie to me!!!!!

This place is shady and will try to get you to lie on your loan application to have better chances of approval. Gates business practices need to be investigated by authorities. The owner is complicit and encourages this behavior.

Gates was great! My salesman, Ethan, was so helpful and friendly! I went there a couple times looking for a vehicle and couldn t find what I was looking for so I held off. No one was pushy and Ethan respected my decision. In February I went in and found a 2020 Chevy Blazer!!! Ethan was there for the whole process from test driving, to sitting down and figuring out a payment plan with me on what I could afford, and handing the keys over to me. The finance guy was very friendly as well. I can say that I have now had other family members and friends go here to buy vehicles. Ethan is trustworthy and respectful. I will only go to GATES in ELKHART!!!

Abijah (*sp) was absolutely fantastic to work with, he was open and honest, his personality was a delight to work with. And he got us exactly what I wanted. He goes above and beyond for his customers. He is educated about the business and is willing to slow it down and explain it all. If you need a car and you haven't been to Gates of Elkhart yet, you definitely need to go and ask for him he won't disappoint.
